Twin Cave House ist ein neu renoviertes (Mai 2017) authentisches Höhlenhaus, das teilweise in der vulkanischen Felswand geschnitzt ist. Es befindet sich in Oia, auf der Klippe in der Nähe des venezianischen Schlosses, wo jeder sammelt, um Oias berühmten Sonnenuntergang zu beobachten. Aufgrund seiner einzigartigen Lage bietet das Twin Cave House einen atemberaubenden Blick auf die Caldera und die Vulkane und ist nur 2 Gehminuten von der Hauptstraße von Oia entfernt, wo sich alle Restaurants und Geschäfte befinden.
Das Höhlenhaus besteht aus zwei angrenzenden Räumen, jedes mit eigenem Eingang, aber auch mit einer Verbindungstür. Das erste Zimmer verfügt über ein Doppelbett, eine einfache Küchenzeile und ein en-suite Badezimmer. Das zweite Zimmer ist geräumiger und bietet eine voll ausgestattete Küche, einen Wohn- / Essbereich und ein eigenes Badezimmer. Das Zimmer verfügt über einen offenen Loft mit einem Doppelbett. The property was such a unique experience and was in a great location. The hostess went out of her way to make sure we had all the information we needed. The transportation arranged to and from the airport and ferry were prompt and most accommodating! I would highly recommend.

We are a family of 4 adults (including 2 adult children) and had a wonderful stay at the Twin Cave House. The space was perfect for parents to have separate bedroom/bathroom and each of the kids to have their own sleeping area. Location was excellent—in the heart of everything yet quiet. Nicoletta arranged our transfers and porters to carry our luggage. She was also very responsive to any questions. AC worked great, which was a definite plus in July!

This stay and this property were AMAZING. Nicoletta took care of absolutely everything - helped arrange transport from the ferry port upon arrival and then back to the airport to depart, and I was especially thankful for the assistance of the porters to help move our luggage. The property itself was perfect for our family of 4 (w/ two college-aged children). When you see all the photos on the internet of the beautiful town on Oia on the cliffsand the blue domed churches... well, that is exactly where this property is located. other people lining up for their prized photos basically right down the sidewalk from this property. Can't beat that. Easy walking distance to many restaurants and shops, very close to the post office if you have lined up an excursion (boat trip, etc) - which is where most companies pick up from. Bathrooms were great, and they even had a top of the line Marshall (wireless) speaker to use when listening to tunes while gazing out at the Aegean-blue waters. Incredible stay at an incredible place... we sincerely hope we can visit again one day in the future.

Very few steps the cave house. Located right next to one of the blue domes, yet still felt the private.
Alex is a great host who met us at arrival. She set up all of our transfers as well. What a great bonus to have concierge service.
Provided beach towels and wine. Also provided juice and other breakfast items. The bathroom product were of very good quality. Top notch hosts. So far the best we have experienced in Greece.
We were a family of four so having three beds and two full bathrooms was great.
The view from the balcony was beautiful. Enjoyed having breakfast and night wine there.
Bonus: They drivers told us, the family running the airbnbs are great family. The cave homes have been in their family for several generations. We love to hear employers being good to their employees.

We loved our stay in the Twin Cave Home! It was right in the heart of Oia and was close to everything we wanted. After visiting Fira, we were so glad we stayed in Oia and this home was very authentic and worked well for us. The hostess was very helpful and responsive. She really helped us with transfers while on the island. The company she referred us to was wonderful as well!

Absolutely stunning area in Oia - right at the heart of this beautiful town. Close to all the restaurants and sites at Oia. Nicoletta was fantastic- met us on the first day and gave us a tour of the town and the home. Loved the twin caves!

The twin cave houses are an awesome place to stay in Oia on Santorini! Nicoletta, the host, was great with communication. The place was perfect and cozy for our family of 5. A few things… right around the corner from these is one of the most popular photo spots, so there are a lot of people there all the time. The stove is sub-par… so cooking should be kept to a minimum. Finally, our initial towels were great, but the second set we got was not as nice and there was some confusion in exchanging beach towels, so we were short these on a day. All minor things, and we would definitely recommend this house.

This house was in the best location and extremely nice! Nicoletta and her team were awesome in accommodating us transportation around the island and were very responsive when needed. Would recommend this house if traveling with a family or group of friends!!

I own 3 Vrbo properties in the States and this property was ideal and I couldn’t have asked for more. Nicoletta, the owner, answered all questions in a very timely manner and has a great team in place from housekeeping to personalized guides. Our guide Chris was excellent and so much fun! Would definitely recommend this place and hope to return someday!

Wonderful stay! The cave house was very clean, the air conditioner/heat works very well, and was in a great location with not too many stairs. Communication was great, and there was daily housekeeping. Highly recommend!

If you want to truly experience the charm that Oia and the island of Santorini has do not hesitate to book this beautiful home. The experience of staying in one of the cave homes on the island is irreplaceable. Great place for four people with two separate rooms, showers and kitchenette. The view on the Caldera is amazing. It is very well located and accessible. Nicolette’s son, Philipp, was there to welcome us and give us indications. We also had the chance to meet Nicoletta at the maritime museum where she provided very interesting explanations on Santorini, the volcano and the caldera. She also speaks French perfectly. I recommend this museum which is less than 5 minutes from her place. I also recommend the walk from Fira to Oia which has amazing views.

The twin cave houses are exactly as presented on VRBO. The houses give you the unique experience of staying in cave with a great view of the caldera. Nicoletta, the proprietor, met our taxi and facilitated the transport of our luggage, which was a godsend being that Santorini is a labyrinth of small walkways with numerous steps.
Santorini is a must see. We found it to be as spectacular as all the pictures and videos show. Having said that, what we did not expect, was the wall to wall people that made getting around a pain. While there I read an article about some tourist cities limiting the number of tourists and Santorini was on that list. I certainly understand why.

Santorini is a beautiful place and Oia was a great place to stay. The Twin Caves was in the middle of the best location. Beautiful views off the patio and cute small rooms with everything we needed. Communication with the host was perfect and we were well taken care of.

Our stay at the twin cave home was exceptional. Nicoletta couldn’t have been more helpful- and Alexandra as well! She took care of everything for us and all went so smoothly. The rooms were clean and had all the comforts we needed. The view amazing and The location was great too - very central to everything! Would definitely recommend this home!

We would highly recommend this property. Our family of 5 stayed comfortably in the spacious 2 bedroom home. The bathrooms were huge and beautifully done. The beds were super comfortable. Everything was immaculately clean, The view was magical. We spent hours having drinks and meals on the front porch and looking at the caldera and enjoying the sunset. The place was well equipped. Nicolleta was excellent to deal with and responded very quickly to any questions or requests. She arranged a number of transfers for us which were very helpful and she was always super friendly and efficient. The area is quite busy as it’s the #1 place for photos of Oia but it was easy to get from there to everywhere. Shops and restaurants right at your doorstep. We loved our stay. Thank you to you and your team for unforgettable memories Nicoletta!

Property was beautifully situated among the cave houses on the side of the cliff - great views, easy access to streets of Oia. The property manager and his assistants were very accommodating in carrying our luggage down the steep steps and back up the hill at the end of our visit. Views from Oia are magical!

We loved our stay at the Twin Cave house in Oia, Santorini. This is a wonderful cave house just steps away from the best sunset view in Santorini. Nicoletta was very accommodating and responded very quickly to all our requests. She arranged the pickup from the airport & porter to the house when we arrived. The house is gorgeous and as shown in the pictures. Nicoletta and her daughter Alexandra gave us very clear instructions, recommendations and things to do while at Santorini and were always available. The house is beautiful with magnificent views of the caldera and the water. Loved our stay. Thank you Alexandra and Nicoletta for making our stay in Santorini memorable !

Nicoletta is an exceptional VRBO host with an exceptional property in Oia! She was so responsive during the reservation process, prior to our arrival and throughout our stay whenever we had questions or special requests. The property itself is even better than the photos ... well stocked with little ammenities like quality bath products and juice and wine in the fridge. Daily cleaning service was an unexpected little luxury that you don't usually get in a VRBO. But best of all was the help with recommendations and transport arrangements getting to and from the airport and around the island. The location can't be beat ... right in the heart of the village of Oia and only steps from restaurants and shopping. We LOVED our little Cave House!

I can not say enough positive words to describe how absolutely magnificent this place is to stay. First of all, this cave home is wonderfully charming, offering a warm and cozy environment. We were always so happy to return to it after an excursion. Secondly, the place is impeccable and features all the comforts one needs, including two mini refrigerators, an oven, a stovetop, microwave oven, and coffeemaker. Plus, as a pleasant bonus, Nespresso capsules are offered. Additionally, the service is without question “top notch”, beginning with communication before arrival, as well as transportation, porter, and cleaning services. Seriously, this is a family business which treats you as “family”. Every single person who helps you does so with the intent to make your stay as pleasurable and memorable as possible. We will DEFINITELY return to this home.

The location was right at the center of OIA which was what we wanted. Everything was very clean.
One huge issue was that the internet did not connect in the bedroom only in the kichen/living room area. This was a problem since we couldnt be on our phones in the bedroom.

We were a family of 4 adults traveling together and this property was perfect. We each had our own space and bathroom. The bed in the loft in the main area was easy to access. The apartment was clean and well- appointed. Nicoletta and her staff were extremely well-organized and helpful. They were easy to communicate with and helped us arrange transfers to and from the airport/port, which were seamless.
The property has amazing views and as noted by others is steps from one of the very photographed blue dome church. As Oia is very popular this can make it somewhat challenging to access your apartment, especially at sunset. However this would not stop me from coming here again.
I would definitely recommend this property to others.

The house itself was amazing with a perfect location and amazing views. Everything was outstanding. We tried the restaurants and excursions that were recommended. This cave house was just what we were looking for. It gave us an authentic Santorini feel. I could sit on the patio and look at the view for hours. It’s steps away from one of the biggest photo spots in Oia. Nicoletta and Alexandra were responsive to my questions and made checkin easy. I would recommend this house to everyone.

Beautiful apartment!
The apartment was beautiful and in a perfect location! Nicoletta always responded very quickly and answered any/all questions we had regarding the property. She also helped to arrange transfers when we needed them. She provided us with a wonderful packet of information pertaining to restaurants, shopping, places to visit. She also had a bottle of wine, juice and bottles of water waiting for us in the fridge, along with toast, jams, honey, coffee and tea. She had her daughter meet us at the meeting point (at the post office- very close), who escorted us to the apartment and went over everything we needed to know regarding our stay. She also provided a porter who carried all our luggage to the VRBO from the post office meeting place; he also helped to carry all our luggage to our taxi when we left for the airport. The apartment was beautiful and was very well appointed. The photos are a true representation of the lovely apartment. The doorways are very low, so unfortunately my husband did hit his head several times in the doorway, but he is 6’2”. I did not have any issues with the doorway at all, nor did my daughter. The apartment was very clean (a maid came to clean daily) and was tastefully decorated. We enjoyed the wine on the front porch, which had an amazing view of the caldera. It is centrally located to many of the sights. It does happen to be right next to a popular photo spot, but we were always able to squeeze by the people on the way out and to the main street. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this gorgeous apartment!
