easy booking , key collection and communication , lovely house quiet clean and perfect for two nights

This house was spacious and very much suited our family group of eight, age ranges 5-73, five adults and three children. The location was in a quiet area of town, at the base of Mt Iron Walking Track. A view of the hills from some of the windows. It was a close walk or drive to the Lake, plenty of amenities to choose from.

A spate of warm weather (January) made the house very hot, especially on the western end rooms. We mitigated this by closing the curtains early in the afternoon before the sun hit that side of the house. We also opened up all the windows of the house at sunset. No doubt the house being too warm would not be a problem most of the year! There was an air conditioner in the kitchen dining/lounge areas. This is not a “didn’t like” but it would be useful to have some microwaveable casserole dishes available.

Location was excellent. The accommodation was excellent. So roomy. Heaps of living spaces. Easy to spread out and relax. facilities were excellent. Little extras things in the cupboard to use like shopping bags, salt, pepper, oil and curry powder. The view was beautiful. The garden backed onto a field. Very private. Drive in garage so convenient. Art works interesting.

Little suggestion ... could you get a lock box ? It would be more convenient as we had travelled a long way and would have really appreciated not having to call the real estate agent and then find parking out side the real estate agent etc.

Location was wonderful, enjoyed easy access to hiking trail for Iron Mountain. Area and neighborhood is nice. We loved the fireplace! Main part of house was perfect for the family to get together for meals and to visit. I would definitely choose this property if I am staying in this area again. Thank you!!!

It would be nice to have a spare set of keys or door code for easy entry, we sometimes had our group going to different places and had to coordinate the key.

Lots of space and so clean. It was really spacious and so comfortable for our group. Very close to everything.

The bunk beds were foam mattresses so not very comfortable for older kids/teens.

It was even better than the photos 😃 We couldn't fault it. Would totally recommend it. We had a lovely time staying there ☺️
