Entspannen Sie sich in einer der drei Schaukeln an Deck am Meer und genießen Sie die salzige Luft und alles, was die Outer Banks zu bieten haben. Dieses Haus bietet mehr als ausreichend Platz an Deck mit einer perfekten Mischung aus Sonne und Schatten sowie großartigen Deckmöbeln. Sie und Ihre Gäste können auf der abgeschirmten Veranda (die sich hervorragend zum Krabbensammeln eignet) ein unglaubliches Meeresfrüchtefest genießen, während die Wellen hereinrollen. Die Cabana ist nur wenige Schritte von einer brandneuen Eismaschine entfernt, die täglich 150 Pfund Eis produziert. Im Inneren der Cabana befinden sich Kühlboxen, die das Eis über lange Zeiträume halten, sodass Sie keine Pause einlegen müssen, um in den Laden zu gelangen. Apropos Eis, dieses Haus verfügt über eine Smoothie- und Daiquiri-Maschine, die das Entspannen am Pool noch luxuriöser macht!
Der großzügige Grundriss ist für alle Strandgänger geeignet. "The Get Away" verfügt über 2 Master-Suiten und viel Schlafraum. Dieses gesamte Haus wurde professionell eingerichtet und für die Mietsaison 2017 komplett renoviert. Die Gourmet-Wohnküche bietet viele brandneue Geräte (es gibt zwei Eismaschinen im Haus), die sich perfekt für die Unterhaltung eignen. Es gibt ein schönes separates Esszimmer. Kinder werden es lieben, sich im unteren Rec Room mit Billardtisch und Kickertisch zu versammeln. Dieser Bereich verfügt über einen Smart-TV und Sitzgelegenheiten für den nachmittäglichen Gewittersturm. Es gibt sogar einen Aufzug, mit dem die Gäste bequemer von Etage zu Etage gelangen können. 9 Smart-Flachbildfernseher im ganzen Haus.
Der Eigentümer stellt Stühle, Boogy Boards und einen kleinen Kühler zur Verfügung.

September 2018: Wir waren im Get Away absolut schönes Haus !! Wir waren bereit, wieder zu buchen, fanden das Haus und die Lage toll, wir wollten es also nicht verlassen, als wir nach Hause kamen. Wir waren nur einen Tag zu Hause und vermissen es so sehr. Ich war das erste Mal bei OBX und hatte eine wundervolle Zeit mit herrlichem Wetter !!
September 2017: 10+ DIESES HAUS hat alles! Nachdem wir in die Einfahrt gefahren waren, wussten wir, dass dies eine der besten Anmietungen sein würde, die wir je hatten! Die Anlagen und der Poolbereich waren erstklassig! Der Aufzug half meiner älteren Mutter und wir liebten es, Lebensmittel in den dritten Stock zu schicken! Die Betten waren komfortabel und die Aufteilung war super! Wir bedanken uns bei den Besitzern für die gute Bevorratung mit allen benötigten Kochartikeln! Granit und schöne Böden! sauber und so eine tolle Lage! Ich empfehle dieses Haus jedem, der die feineren Strandhäuser mag!

Renting thru Beach Realty was so easy from the start. The staff was very friendly and informative. The Get Away was exceptional! It was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed.. kitchen was fully stocked, bikes, beach equipment including carts that actually rolled in the sand and beach chairs that worked. The owner even stopped by. He was very friendly and kind. Our teens loved the location of this home, it was so convenient for them to walk to lots of places. The pool and hot tub were well maintained. The elevator also was wonderful too. I would recommend the Get Away with Beach Realty, and I would stay here again!

This was a great home. Ready on abit early. Clean. Set up is awesome. The owners definitely really care about their property. Loved the location!!! Very close and easy to get to beach. Close to great restaurants and grocery stores. Only issue was air temp at night. AC temps were good during day but at night everyone woke sweating and hot and uncomfortable. Was on a setting we couldnt figure out or controlled from an app. Overall house was amazing though. And we want to thank the owners and property management for such a beautiful home.

The house was great! The beds were comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked and had everything you could possibly need. There was a pack and play and high chair that I wish we would have known about because we would not have had to bring them. We loved the layout and the pool. The pool was our favorite place to hangout! The trek to the beach was a little more than we thought but that was our fault for not looking at the map better. There are a lot of stairs to climb to get onto the beach from the path. We had to contact the office because a comforter had a large urine stain on it and they were quick to respond. They offered to bring a new one but we washed it. We would definitely stay at this house again, it truly checks all the boxes except for easy beach access.

The vacation rental had very nice amenities and overall we had a very nice stay. The water system appeared to be weak at times, having to hold down the toilet handle until the water went down. In the front room that connected to the pyramid bed the sink water never got hot. The room stayed rather humid and warm the whole week. I agree with others that black out curtains are needed for the two front room. We really did enjoy our stay, but those were some of the issues we had. Thanks for letting us borrow your home for a week.

We loved the house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and there were plenty of blankets/pillows. The location was excellent for checking out the local sights, getting to the beach, and going out to restaurants. We loved having the ice cream shop next door. The elevator was key, the living space is on the third floor, it was awesome having a way to get groceries upstairs. We also had grandparents with us, and they utilized the elevator frequently as the stairs were too much for them. We brought our two dogs; it’s great being able to stay in a nice home that allows dogs. Many times, rentals for dogs are not nice. This place is so lovely. You can tell they really care about the home. The only suggestion I have is to add blackout curtains to the two roadside rooms which are across the street from Ramada. I slept in one of the front rooms with my husband. I had a sleeping mask, so I didn’t have any issues sleeping but my husband had some troubles. We would rent again!

Beautiful house I have no complaints besides when we arrived the hot tub was broke and the propane grill was broke however someone was sent the very next day to fix it. Also I dont reccomend staying in april if you're an ocean\beach person the ocean was freezing and the outside temperature was only warm for 2 out of the 6 days qe qere there qe still had a great time though.

This house was perfect for our sewing retreat. Plenty of space for all four of us to spread out. I was disappointed when I learned that we didn't have a view of the water except for a tiny slice between two hotels. It was an easy walk to the beach though. We had no hot water when we arrived, but Marcus came and found a blown breaker and it was fixed that day. After we had made the reservation, I read some of the paperwork very closely and realized that we qualified for the senior citizen discount. I sent an email asking for it to be applied but never received a reply. I called about it right before we checked in. I was told that we didn't get the discount because we didn't indicate it when I made the reservation. I was very disappointed that the rental company wouldn't even consider giving us this small refund. It's in the small print, so if you are seniors, ask for it right away!

The property description was accurate and then some. The property is so well stocked from appliances to games and books. There was not one thing that I could say that I was missing. You can tell that the owner cares about this property. And, it is in such a great location, that we hardly drove anywhere at all. It was October, and it was warm but still too cool to swim in the ocean, but the swimming pool was heated to a great temperature. The owner didn't skimp on the heat. It is right on Virginia Dare Trail which I thought might be concerning as to noise and getting in and out, but for the most part, that was not an issue. We could see the ocean waves in between the hotels (some reviews said that they could not see the ocean at all...yes, it is not oceanfront, but they don't advertise it as such. But, for the price and amenities, don't overlook this home.) It does have an elevator, but it is not ground level and there are about 5 steps to climb to reach it. I just wanted to mention that while there is an elevator, this house is not handicap accessible or really handicap friendly (but, again, they don't advertise that they are). This was our first time also dealing with Beach Realty, as well, and they were great to work with. They were in contact via e-mail and text messaging, and the property was ready when they said that it would be. I highly recommend The Get Away along with Beach Realty of NC. Great memories are made in this house.

We've been coming to OBX for over 40 years and it was great to hear of new places we hadn't been. We had a great week of beutiful sunny skies, and our last days with Tropical Storm Ian did not ruin our relaxation. A rainy day at the beach is a good day!

This was the perfect getaway for our family of 9 (5 adults and 4 children ages 5-13). The house is tastefully decorated and comfortably furnished with newer appliances and fully stocked kitchen complete with Keurig coffee maker and a large pot for our low country boil. The porches are nicely furnished, some with swings, and there is a screened in breakfast nook off the kitchen. The kids really enjoyed the pool and our 5 year old learned to swim this week. We appreciated the pool toys, beach chairs, and beach toys provided by the owner. It is a short walk to the beach and the location on the Beach Road is close to American Pie, the Food Lion is only a mile away, Miller's, Bonzo's, the Red Drum and many other great places are nearby. Don't miss the Seaside Gallery, they have an interesting collection of art from the sea. We had an issue with a strong perfume odor on the draperies and bedding in one of the bedrooms and the bedspreads on the bunkbeds were soiled, but the realty company was very responsive and replaced them with loaners so they could be drycleaned. It was a minor inconvenience. We loved the Getaway and are coming back again next year. Thank you for a lovely week at the Outer Banks.

WE ENJOYED THE VACATION AND THE HOUSE HAD EVERYTHING IN TRIPLE.THE HOME COULD HAVE BEEN CLEANER.I DID CALL THE OFFICE ABOUT IT.THERE WERE TOE NAIL CLIPPINGS ON THE TILE FLOOR ON LEVEL ONE.THE SLIDING DOOR TRACKS WERE NEVER CLEANED AND FILLED WITH BLACK DIRT.THE ELAVATOR FLOOR HAD A STICKY SUBSTANCE IN THE REAR AREA AND HAD TO BE CLEANED BY US.THE POOL CLEANING COMPANY NEVER CLEANED THE POOL.THEY ADDED WATER AND THAT WAS IT.THERE WAS SAND ON THE BOTTOM IN ONE AREA THE ENTIRE TIME.(WE HAVE A POOL AND I KEEP IT CLEANER THAN THE RENTAL POOL.THE DIRTY SHEETS FROM THE PEOPLE BEFORE US SAT THERE THE ENTIRE WEEK AND EVEN AFTER THEY DRPPED OF CLEAN LINEN FOR THE NEXT RENTAL PEOPLE.

The Getaway offers every amenity needed for an awesome week at the beach. The home is beautifully decorated. Plenty of room. Loved all of the outside porches. Nice pool, volleyball, foosball, pool table and plenty of beach equipment. The location is absolutely perfect. Close to all types of shopping and restaurants. Our kids enjoyed riding the bikes. The home was super clean and I am very critical of this. You can tell the owners really care about the home. Would definitely stay here again!

The Getaway was a fantastic place for our family vacation! The heated pool was a huge hit and the ability to bring our two dogs made it perfect. Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are made for families. A really nice place that we plan on returning too!
