Lucias Cottage - in the heart of Port Elliot
Das Lucias Cottage ist sicher und privat und befindet sich nur wenige Gehminuten von der Horseshoe Bay (ca. 250 m von unserer Haustür zum Strand entfernt) entfernt in einem ruhigen, geschützten Teil des alten historischen Dorfes. Das bestehende Haus wurde umfassend umgebaut, um eine moderne Superior-Unterkunft mit 3 Schlafzimmern (2x Queensize- / 1x Doppelbetten) und einem großzügigen neuen Gourmet-Küchen- / Wohnbereich zu bieten. Es gibt 2 private Innenhofbereiche und sichere Parkplätze abseits der Straße. Die Hauptwohnbereiche sind mit Klimaanlage und digitalem TV / DVD ausgestattet und öffnen sich durch großflächige Glasschiebetüren zur großen Terrasse im Freien mit Gasgrill und schattiger Außeneinstellung. Die neue Küche ist wunderschön präsentiert und gut ausgestattet, einschließlich einer Capuccino-Maschine. Das Badezimmer wurde im Dezember 2017 komplett renoviert und verfügt über eine Regendusche und einen Doppelwaschtisch.

A wonderful home for a family getaway, especially for young children. Location was brilliant, walking distance to everything you’re after and food from the Retro Vibe next door was delicious! Certainly recommend for a weekend or longer trip away.

Generally enjoyed our stay. Very handy to beach, cliff walks and cafes. Glad we visited in mild weather as no fixed heating cooling in bedrooms.

This house is a great place to stay for relaxing, comfort and easy access to the sweetness of Port Elliot and surrounds. It covered all the needs for our small group.

We had a short stay of 3 days.. but could not be happier with the location ..right in the heart of Pt Elliott…we could walk to everything we needed ..shops, cafes , hotels and restaurants..
Our accommodation was immaculately clean. And presented very well. The outdoor area, with the walled garden we loved.. again beautifully kept. A credit to the owner..

Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay in the heart of Port Elliot in a lovely setting. Four adults stayed and we all agreed we would be more than happy to stay there again. A very well-equipped and very clean cottage with a beautiful courtyard out the back. Uncovered though. Might be an issue during rain.
Only complaint: no cloths hanging facility in each bedroom. A simple Ikea cloths rack would suffice.

We enjoyed our stay, great location and nice place. The only downside was it was raining the whole time and there’s no cover at all out the back (nice verandah frame but no cloth or sheets to give a covered outdoor area) so we couldn’t spend much time out there. The front has a small undercover area but the down pipe from the gutter just runs in to the stones and pools water all where that area so it gave us no real outside place to relax and enjoy the rain.

This was a really lovely property in a great location. It was well presented. I may have missed it but wi-fi would have good.

Located within easy walking distance of all of Port Elliot’s attractions- Main Street, Horseshoe Bay and cockle train - we were disappointed with the level of consumables provided. We understood that we had to bring our own linen, but we weren’t aware that we also needed to supply soap, shampoo and conditioner. There were also very limited kitchen supplies, whilst we do not expect a full pantry, we have always welcomed basic supplies such as cereal and milk, in other short term rentals we have used.

Great location and comfortable cottage. We were at fault for not reading all details for the property and appreciate the help given by the hosts partner. Two suggestions, the host may not be aware that the coffee machine does not work and we really struggled with 5 of us in the cottage and no where to hang towels, coats as it was a wet few days. The rating for the cleaning was due to the dust dirt under chairs and beds that we found during our stay when cleaning the floors. Otherwise very happy.

Beautiful Home and Location
Our second stay at Wendy's gorgeous home. We love the central location in Port Elliot a quick walk to the best bakery in the world and the beach! The house has great off road parking, a lovely private back courtyard with fire pit and outdoor seating. It has a very modern fit and was perfect for our family of four including two teen boys. The toilet being separate to the bathroom was very convenient. We loved the coffee machine so bring some pre-ground coffee with you.

Great area & where its situated
Only thing is in the late afternoon sun comes in through clear windows (sliding doors) to couches, makes it hot, bright & hard to see TV (have taken picture if you want clarification)

Lovely cottage
This was our second visit and once again we enjoyed our stay. The proximity of the cottage to Horseshoe Bay, Hotel Elliot and the Port Elliot Bakery is great.

Port Elliot - a gem
Wonderful short stay with daughter and grandchildren. Very comfortable and well situated so that walking to the beach and of course, the Port Elliot bakery were easy. We had an excellent time and would definitely stay here again. The only downfall was having to take all our linen and towels but not enough for us to not stay again. Lovely garden and the children had a lot of fun. Weather was cold but still and no rain.

Lovely little place in a quiet spot
Quiet place with good privacy. Very clean and quite comfortable with 3 adults - though single bath and loo would maybe get congested with more. Plenty of heaters provided, thanks Wendy; very easy place to be for multi-day stay. Great spot with the old heart of Port Elliot setting the atmosphere. Most enjoyable.
