It’s hard to please 16 people ranging in age from 12-80 but Moonlight Estate offers it all! We spent 6 days and 5 nights here celebrating my FIL’s upcoming 80th birthday and we enjoyed a lot of time at the house and all that it had to offer. We loved the rooms/bathrooms to accommodate all of us comfortably. We also really appreciated the large tables both indoors and out so that we could get everyone gathered for games and meals. We utilized the outdoor fire place, hot tub, volleyball net and so much more. The views are fantastic and the sunrise was spectacular! On clear nights the stars shined brightly and we had beautiful double rainbows one evening. We saw deer in the yard and foxes who came to visit in the evenings. Our activities while in town were golfing, Lone Peak Expedition, Ousel Falls Hike and shopping/dining at the resort and town center including the farmers market!
I can’t forget the property manager, Mariusz, who goes above and beyond to ensure that your time at Moonlight is perfect. Communication was excellent before and during our stay!

We timed it perfectly and got a very nice variety of ski conditions from groomers to powder and then some spring conditions. Great fun. The ski in ski out couldn't be easier! The home did not disappoint. Well-appointed, maintained and a real nice touch was the quantity and quality of the kitchen wares.

We spent a week here with our family for an anniversary celebration. It was great. Lots of room. Beautiful setting. And lots of great hiking nearby. Mariusz is a great property manager and very attentive to our needs

This home was perfect for our family of nine adults and four children on our spring break trip. Plenty of space for us all to be together as a family and also great space to spread out for time away from the group. Great kitchen—stocked w great cookware and everything needed to prepare meals This house is 100% ski in and ski out! It snowed a great deal while we were there and we were happy to see that they came and groomed the driveway while we were there. The property manager was always quick to respond to our questions and or needs. During our stay in March, the road up to the house and the driveway did require four wheel drive vehicles which we thankfully rented for our stay. We look forward to being able to come and stay here again

Home and Host were amazing! Luxury in everyway. Ski in ski out was a game changer for our family of all levels. Terrific view of the fireworks every Saturday was the icing on the cake. Would stay again.

Moonlight basin home. this is an awesome home for large families. Excellent indoor and outdoor spaces to accommodate many people. Large hot tub and outdoor fireplace. Large yard in the front great for playing corn hole. Beautiful area around the home to go for long walks. Many opportunities to view wildlife. We saw a moose and its baby in the front yard play . Plenty of space throughout the house. Downstairs game room.. I would highly recommend this house and would love to come again.

What a beautiful yet very spacious and comfortable home for a family of 13. Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. A very well stocked kitchen and an amazing outdoor space to utilize year round! Views are amazing and property manager very quick to respond and helpful! Highly recommend!

My group of 11 friends, couples and singles all had a blast at this house. We stay at a lot of Vrbos and we are now going to be spoiled because this was the best one ever.

The pictures are very accurate of the home, but even better in person!!! The house was more than comfortable and the views were spectacular - many of us spent afternoons reading or relaxing in front of the picture window. We cooked every night - the kitchen was probably the most stocked kitchen from any vrbo we ever stayed in - from kitchen appliances, to pots/pans, to spices and necessities. We enjoyed many dinners and card games on the large dining table. Our teenagers had plenty of space to chill and watch movies downstairs, as well as play X-Box in their loft space upstairs. Every one of the 7 teens had a bed in this massive, luxurious home. As the description states - we enjoyed an UNFORGETTABLE vacation!! Best Ski In/Ski Out Property in Big Sky
Our ski group of 10 couldn't have imagined a better home. The ski access out the front door/across the street took us down to the Mountain Village via the Bozeman Trail or out the back door to the Pony Express to the Moonlight Basin runs. Skiing back down the Blue Moon run and to the right into the Diamond Hitch neighborhood took us to the back door of the home. The home was a 10+ from the views to the layout to the furnishings and an outdoor space that was resort worthy.

Mountain Mama is the best!
Loved this property. We had a group of 13 and enjoyed the house immensely. There was more than enough space for our group to relax and enjoy. The chaise lounge in the big windows was always occupied and a great place to relax and enjoy the view. Kitchen well stocked and ready to accommodate large group. Outdoor hot tub was fantastic. Ski In/Ski Out super easy. Boot warmer in the garage a nice bonus on a cold day as was the radiant heat. There is a lot of technology in the house for lighting/sound/etc so be sure to get the info when checking in on proper use. We can't wait to go back again next year!

Awesome place!
Came here with 8 guys for fishing and golf. The house is amazing and the pictures can't do it justice. Lot's of activities at the house if you want to hang around, cornhole, volleyball, bocce ball, shuffleboard, and a huge yard. Impressed all of the smart home features worked perfectly. Cabinets are stocked with plenty of nice plates, wine glasses, spices, etc. The property manager was great in helping with booking and local recommendations. This place is great for friends, couples, or families. Can't wait to come back.

Ok, this is definitely the best Big Sky/Moonlight place that we have enjoyed since coming here over 12 years! Mariusz does a great joy communicating and tweaking everything we needed. Hope to rent this house again next year!

Outstanding property.
The photos do not do this property justice. It is beautiful and in a prime location. You ski straight from the house onto a ski run down to the ski lifts and have access to the entire mountain. Coming back for lunch is a breeze.
It can easily accommodate large groups. We were 16 and everyone had plenty of room.
We loved the radiant heat ( no forced air ) .
We would definitely rent this property again.

Mt Mama review
This house seems too good to be true.., but it’s NOT!! We stayed at this property in June and there were 16 family members ranging from 7 to 80. The pictures reflect the house very well, it’s a beautiful home with plenty of space for everybody so we were not on top of each other. The views were beautiful and the hot tub and fire pit were a hit every night. We put up a volley ball net and had several hours of fun in the evening with tons of outdoor space. Here’s where this house exceeds ones expectations.., we have rented via vrbo or Airbnb quite a bit, but the owners and management of Moonlight Estate understand what it means to provide luxury accommodations. The comfortable beds, the sheets and towels, the pillows, the throws on the couches, the basket of nice spa towels by the door, the pristine hot tub, the use of the garage, the lovely soaps and lotions and tissues and last but not least the beautifully stocked kitchen. I just rented a house in Florida for a week and I had to run and buy toilet paper, dishwasher tablets, and garbage bags. All I could say was, this is not the Montana house! I’m probably going on too much but my family is very particular and we were so impressed. Thank you Moonlight Estate for putting everyone else to shame. We will be back.

Amazing House and Experience
My friends and I rented this amazing house last week. We had very high expectations based on the pictures and the house was amazing. Tons of room (we had nine adults) and amazing attention to detail. The kitchen was stocked with multiples of everything anyone could need and Mariusz was great to work with. He showed us around when we checked in and even came by early the next morning to plow the driveway after we got six inches of snow in mid June.
I highly recommend staying here. You won’t regret it.

Epic Ski Adventure!
Wow - this home up on Moonlight Basin was amazing and in impeccable shape! The home was super sized with plenty of beds, couches, chairs and places to hang and relax on three levels of living space.
If you like to cook and entertain, the cooks kitchen with Viking stove and double dishwashers along with extra space for your beverages is the place to be! This home was stocked with a ton of dried herbs and spices that you normally don't want to bring or have to buy for a week or less stay.
This place is on a ski trail so pop into your skis or board outside your door, and you are immediately in motion. No waiting, no lines, just GO! AT the end of the day or for lunch, you can literally ski back home straight into your outdoor hot tub! (although I recommend donning the gear first):)
The sound system throughout the house including outdoor areas was rocking! The beds were all comfortable without a single complaint from any of my friends or family members, and they are tough to please! (hope they don't read this ;))
Showers were clean and hot, linens smooth and silky, towels fluffy, fresh and plentiful.
The manger of the property, Mariusz, greeted us upon arrival and showed around and then let us do our thing. We had a problem with the hot tub temperature so I called Mariusz and came over in 10 minutes and fixed the problem we created :)
If you are planning a trip to Big Sky, I recommend you rent a car as there are only a couple of taxis and no Uber or Lyft drivers to get you around town to dine and shop.
