"The Cottage" ist ein geräumiger Bungalow auf dem Grundstück unseres Hauses am Rande des Dorfes. Abgeschieden und geräumig ist es der ideale Ort für eine Pause. Es profitiert von der Nähe zu einem Geschäft und Pubs, in denen gutes Essen serviert wird, während die ländliche Umgebung erhalten bleibt. Bietet einen hohen Standard für Familien und Paare. Das große Wohnzimmer bietet Platz für alle, egal bei welchem Wetter, während der schöne Garten ein echtes Gefühl des Landlebens vermittelt. Vielleicht haben Sie sogar Glück und werden von einem der örtlichen Muntjac-Hirsche besucht! Die historische Stadt Cambridge ist nur 17 ml entfernt und die schöne Kathedrale von Ely ist 15 ml entfernt. Es gibt viele Natur- und Vogelreservate vor Ort und einen einfachen Zugang zum Fluss für diejenigen, die gerne Zeit auf dem Wasser verbringen. Für diejenigen, die einen Tagesausflug planen, steht eine Picknicktasche zur Verfügung. Die Unterkunft verfügt über eine kostenlose WLAN- / Internetverbindung.

A beautiful cottage with a homely feel. Has everything you need for a weekend or a month. We loved our stay here and the local pub has fantastic food and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for hosting us Lyn and Eric

We really enjoyed our stay in the cottage! The accommodation was spacious and very clean.The living room was comfortable, and opens onto a large garden. We only met Lyn briefly when we arrived, but she was very welcoming, and we were always able to contact her via email if we needed to. Needingworth itself is quite small, but St Ives is only a few minutes away. Cambridge, Ely and Wicken Fen are all about 30 mins drive. A great place to stay if you enjoy peace and quiet and would like to explore the Cambridge area. We would definitely stay here again!

This bungalow is very spacious but in need of some TLC. The garden has many trees which in our opinion are in need of a visit from an arborist. They cut out a lot of light to the property. Unfortunately whilst we were there , we had quite a lot of rain overnight which overflowed the gutters and noisily dropped on the window sill. The owner did come round and did his best to fix it . The location is very good for exploring the area, lots to do within an hour or so drive , the cottage has everything you need and is very comfortable.

Excellent
The Cottage and wonderful garden had everything we needed and more! We were comfortable even during the 40°C heatwave. It was a great base to explore the area and very handy for Cambridge. Many thanks to owner Lyn for advice and very thoughtfully and well appointed cottage.

The Cottage is well appointed, in a good position with a lovely garden. It is ideally situated for visiting St Ives, Cambridge, Ely and Wicken Fen. Great stay.

Perfect place for area
Our stay at Lyn and Eric’s place was the perfect accommodation for our family of five. The house is very spacious, we were all able to have a space to go to for some time alone. It was great to have two toilets and a huge full bathroom. The kitchen is supplied with everything you need to cook and store groceries. The garden is absolutely beautiful and great for a tea or coffee and to sit out in the sun. The area is beautiful with close proximity to shops and restaurants and nature preserves to explore. Obviously, Cambridge is not too far. Overall, when we are able to return to visit our family and friends we hope to reserve the Cottage again. Thank you Lyn and Eric.

Wonderful house with beautiful gardens

A week away from it all
A comfortable, spacious bungalow that had an equally spacious garden in which wildlife was a feature - birds and the occasional grey squirrel, all located in a quite village.

Well needed break
We needed a quiet and relaxing week away and that is exactly what The Cottage provided. Spacious, peaceful and very comfortable with a lovely surrounding garden. Several good places to eat nearby and interesting places to visit within easy reach. Very pleased with our choice.

Great location; comfortable and cosy property
This property is in a great location for exploring the Fen region including Ely and Cambridge. The village has a well stocked shop and access to fenland walks and a marina (with accompanying seals). There are some beautiful nearby villages and access to some wonderfully interesting walks. It's well worth hiring a boat to explore the waterways. The property has a lovely, large and private garden and the house is very comfortable and well appointed, providing everything you need (particularly within the kitchen) for making you feel at home.

The gardens are superb we saw a deer in the early morning and a fox in the late evening, great place just to sit and relax. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone.

A wonderful place to stay
The Cottage is a wonderful place to stay being extremely spacious, very clean, well equipped, warm and comfortable. Located on the edge of the village it has a wonderful garden with an abundance of birds and animals. It is well located for visits to Cambridge and Ely. There is very easy access to a number of local walks including the RSPB Hanson Reserve and the Ouse Way.

Spacious and comfortable
The bungalow had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay, including lots of cooking, and we enjoyed watching all the wildlife in the garden. The owner, Lyn, was also so friendly and responsive. We really couldn't have asked for anything more.

Second Time Round
The property is ideal for the elderly as it is a bungalow. The access is a bit uneven but manageable with care. The bungalow is home from home with all the equipment you would use at home.

Lovely week and a magical garden
We had a lovely week staying in this cosy cottage. The cottage itself is lovely and has everything you need, plus very spacious. The jewel is the garden, it is such a lovely garden! My toddler loved running around it and hiding-it had a magical feel to it. Lots to see and do in the surrounding area too-a lovely break.

Perfect bungalow
We loved our stay at the Cottage bungalow ,it was so comfortable with lovely decor and had everything you could need , the garden was such a lovely place to sit in with fruit trees and plenty of wildlife including black squirrels. The location is brilliant as a few minutes by car to St Ives and easy reach to Huntingdon and Ely with a great choice of supermarkets close by Lynn and Eric who own the property we’re very friendly and helpful

Peaceful home from home
We had a lovely time. So close to the canals and many beautiful towns to explore. The backyard was perfect for my 2 boys to play in and they loved the board games that were there. It was very spacious and so nicely decorated. We cant wait to stay again!

A great place to stay!
Such a lovely cottage to stay in. Very spacious and excellent for outside socialising. The kitchen has everything you need for a long stay. Beds were comfortable too! My daughters loved playing hide and seek in the house and garden. Lyn was very helpful, friendly and Very quick to respond to questions. We will definitely be staying again if there is availability.

Quiet, restful holiday in charming English village
We thoroughly enjoyed our week staying outside cambridge in this cottage. It was roomy and comfortable with everything we needed to regather energy after 3 weeks travelling around Europe. We could wash clothes and enjoy some of our one home-cooked meals after living in hotels and out of a suitcase for so long. The cottage is charming, and we also felt complete privacy and room to celebrate Christmas as a family. Cambridge was not too far, but was also a good central spot to get around to other parts of England. A great stay overall.

Lovely stay
We had a lovely stay at the Cottage. The owners are really friendly and the cottage was very clean, spacious and well equipped. There are lots of good walks in the area and places to visit. The local pubs and restaurants are also really nice.

Excellent stay at the cottage Needingworth
The cottage is extremely well presented. and equipped. It is very spacious and has a lovely large private garden with patio and summerhouse which we were able to take full advantage of due to the lovely weather we had.
The owners were very friendly and helpful and sorted out a problem with the boiler extremely quickly, within two hours of reporting it. Would definitely stay here again if holidaying in this area.

Spacious, beautifully maintained bungalow with private garden
We used the bungalow as a base to visit the region. With its wonderfully spacious layout and beautiful gardens we could easily have spent our days at base camp! The property is very well equipped and what ever we needed, we found. We were lucky to have been blessed with some beautiful weather so even after full days out and about we could relax late afternoon in the garden with a glass or two of wine. The sound of ‘barking’ from local muntjac deer and the call of the occasional cuckoo only helped to make the end of the days even more special. We would most certainly recommend this property to others.
