The breakfast was of a high standard with many options. I don't think the location could be beaten perfect for restaurants and theatre etc.

Great location. Very clean. The room had all the facilities we needed. The staff were very friendly. The breakfast itself was excellent.

There is limited parking off road. We were warned to avoid being blocked in. The result was we parked (Free) on the street for much of our stay. Our dog was not allowed into the dining room for breakfast. Annie did her best by setting a table in the entrance hall and serving us cheerfully and very efficiently, but it was embarrassing and uncomfortable. Their website says "We welcome pets into our bed and breakfast." If we had known about this restriction we would have booked elsewhere.

Our bedroom was located at the front of the property right by a main road and traffic lights. To be fair you didn’t hear the traffic too much when the windows were closed but we like to sleep with the windows open.

Breakfast was excellent all diets catered for , room was tastefully decorated , very cool as it was very warm when we stayed with fans available for our use.

Everything spotless. Nothing too much trouble for the hostess., who even put decaf tea and coffee in our room when she found that was what we drank. Bathroom s were well appointed and well supplied with towels and toiletries. Breakfast was cooked to order every morning with everything from a full English to beans on toast or a bacon sandwich.

When you live in a bungalow the stairs are a problem but we managed.! Next time we'll request a room on the first floor. Not a problem for most people, and worth the climb anyway to a lovely room.

The room was perfect, the owner ( I think her name was Loren), was so friendly and hospitable. On the last morning despite a mains electrical fault she made us a fantastic breakfast. We would definitely recommend Gordon House to friends /family when visiting Poole.
