Das MalinKiGa ist eine Studio-Kabine für 4 Personen, die mit hochwertigen Materialien komplett renoviert wurde (neues Badezimmer, neue Fenster, neue Möbel und Böden, gebürstetes Holz und altmodischer Putz an den Wänden).
In der Residence Malinka, Stadtteil Falaise im Herzen der Domaine des Portes du Soleil, ist die Abfahrt / Rückkehr auf Skiern, alle Annehmlichkeiten sind innerhalb von 5 Minuten (Geschäfte, Restaurants, Schule und Skiverleih, Pakete und Skilifte, Aquariaz).
Avoriaz ist eine Fußgängerstation, Zugang zur Wohnung direkt am Ausgang des Parkplatzes.

An excellent trip from start to finish! The apartment is really well located and has everything to make your stay here as comfortable as possible. Communication with the owner is 5* and I’m sure if you had any issues (which we did not) they would be resolved immediately. Several restaurants and the Sherpa supermarket are a matter of minutes from the door. Last but not least….the sunsets!! I don’t think there is a better spot in Avoriaz from where to witness the spectacular sunsets than the balcony of this apartment. Hopefully will return here next season. Would absolutely recommend.

Really enjoyed our stay in this property. We have stayed in Avoriaz in Winter for around 5 years in total and this property is definitely one of our favourites.
Pros:
Perfect location for ski school, ski in / out, restaurants, shops and parking.
Everything needed inside the apartment.
Great communication with owner, very efficient arrival process.
Cons: a little small, but frankly, almost every apartment in Avoriaz is on the small side. We felt it was good value for the size. If you want bigger, be prepared to pay significantly more or be in a worse location.
No oven in kitchen - but a 4 ring hob is available.
Apartments ski lockers are non-heated, so lots of people loudly wearing their ski boots in the halls and above in the morning - but it is very quiet at night so fine for us.
Overall: would definitely stay in this apartment again.

This studio is in great order and in a very convenient location for both getting on the pistes and walking into town for shopping and evenings out. What helped even more was the superb responsiveness and helpfulness of the hosts. This made our stay as easy as we could have hoped. Would happily come back.

The apartment is very small but it is also very cosy. It really only provides the essentials but it is very well situated with all amenities ‘a stone’s throw’ away. One can ski out from the ski locker room straight onto the Proclou piste – a broad easy blue, ideal for your morning warm-up. The apartment has a lovely private balcony with unobstructed panoramic views of the Alps. The wi-fi is slow by contemporary standards but we had no problem streaming Netflix on the ‘smart’ TV. Overall the apartment represents very good value for money and we would stay there again.

Emplacement idéal à 50m du parking intérieur, 50 m de la boulangerie et du resto, 100m du petit supermarché et 250m des cours de ski, le tout en restant très calme la nuit. Le studio est certes petit mais fonctionnel et bien agencé. Un séchoir à linge avec 2 bras aurait été parfait compte tenu de la météo humide que nous avons eue les 2 derniers jours.

Fantastic base. Everything you need for an enjoyable and comfortable stay. Unbelievable sunsets and views of the mountains. Easy access to ski hire and lifts, supermarket and bars etc. We really enjoyed staying here. Family with 2 kids under 12.

Excellent choice of property in Avoriaz
Excellent appartment for a weeks stay in falaise area of Avoriaz. Originally booked for two people but ended up with four in the appartment. Extra bedding was supplied on request with no extra charge. Great location, ski in, ski out, right beside drop of area for transfer buses and close to supermarket and hire shops. Nicely decorated snd provisioned apartment and very good communication from owner. Five star!!
Oh and a view to wake up to for the rest of your life from balcony!

Wonderful Avoriaz apartment
We’ve been to Avoriaz 3 times now and this is definitely our favourite accommodation. Excellent location, spotlessly clean, lovely hosts. WiFi a bit erratic but I think that’s an issue across Avoriaz. Certainly it worked well enough for us to check the local app for weather etc. Highly recommended!

Great short break
Had a great short break here. Although small, the apartment easily accommodated three adults. The apartment is really well placed at the top of town with bakery, restaurants and rental shops very close.
It was a bit noisy at night, but nothing out of the ordinary.
The view from the apartment is amazing and watching the sunset great.
In terms of booking, check in and comms, it all worked like a dream.

Ideal for our family of 3 - bunk beds separated from main room so could put little one to bed and watch tv without disturbing him. Only annoying thing was loud music from others in block but this depends on who else is staying - luckily the music stopped by 11ish

Excellent accommodation
We stayed here for 5 nights and were very comfortable, it is a nice little studio for 2 people. I think with one child this place would be ok, but anymore than that may be a little cramped. The studio is nicely decorated, quite modern and has all the mod cons you need. There is a nice balcony that overlooks the slopes. The sofa bed is relatively comfortable but we probably wouldn’t want to sleep on it longer than a week. The ski room is very handy, you get your own locker and key to keep your ski’s in, you can go to the ski room and directly ski out of the building onto the slopes. Coming back to the apartment is slightly more tricky but still pretty good. It is a flat run back so not quite as easy to ski back in, takes a little skating from the slope, OR catch the button lift back up from the green run and walk over back to the ski room. The building is located at the top end of the village so its nice and quiet, yet has a couple of restaurants within a few metres. Most days we walked the 5 minute walk to the village where more restaurants were located. Overall a great studio, in a very good location! We would definitely re-visit and recommend.

Well equipped, modern apartment in great location.
My 18 year old daughter, my husband and I had a great holiday at Malinkiga. The apartment is cosy and compact but it worked well for 3 adults with a week's worth of luggage and ski gear. The beds / sofa bed were really comfy and the apartment was beautifully warm. It's certainly ski out with the ski locker room leading onto a blue or green piste though we found it more pole in than ski in (not that this was a problem). There are great views (including sun rises and sets) from the lounge area and the apartment block is less than a minute from the covered parking, supermarket, french patisserie, bars and restaurants. The kitchen is well equipped but we found it easiest to shop a bit each day as cupboard space is limited. As a Sherpa with long opening hours is literally on the door step this wasn't a problem. Wifi connection was great (useful for the teen) and we could use our Netflix account on the TV which made relaxing after a day on the slopes easy. Would whole heartedly recommend staying at Malinkiga for people who want a cosy place to relax and sleep after days out in mountains. It would feel small if you needed to be indoors for much of the day, but no one holidays in the Portes du Soleil to stay inside. Making arrangements with Sébastien and Cathy was easy, with prompt replies to queries.

Just as it looks in the photos, perfect base for a family ski holiday. Very comfortable bed and the all important WiFi, loads of utensils if you feel like cooking instead of eating out, big shower, ski locker on next floor. Everything we needed. Beautiful apartment with gorgeous view!
We stayed at MalinKiGa for a week during the February half-term. The apartment was cosy, homey and very clean. The owner kindly provided complimentary essentials such as washing products and toileteries, and maintained good communication with us throughout the whole booking process until after our stay. Access to carpark, shops, ski lockers and most importantly ski slopes is second to none; the location is perfect for a small family like ours. We cooked in the apartment most nights and the evening tranquility around the area was a welcoming atmosphere after a whole day of skiing. Thank you to Seb and Guillaume for your lovely hospitality. A highly recommended property and we would definitely be back very soon!

Lovely Apartment
This apartment is great. It is very comfortable and cosy. It is right on the slopes so you can ski in and out easily. The views are amazing. The sofa bed is king size and very comfortable and the bunk beds are great for kids. The location is perfect, near shops and restaurants and the pick up and drop off for bus transfers is a few minutes walk directly behind the apartments. We cooked in the apartment most nights and the kitchen is well equipped for this. The wifi is great and there is a smart tv which gives you access to netflex. The owner is very nice and helpful as was Guillaume who looks after the apartment. We would definitely stay here again.

Excellent apartment, right on the slopes
The apartment is really well renovated, modern, clean, well equipped and comfortable for the two of us.
Right near the supermarket, on the slopes and only a few minutes walk to the rest of the shops.

This apartment was ideal for us and we couldn't fault it in any way. We are a couple in our 20's and were looking for a ski in/out self catered apartment that was close enough to the bars/restaurants but not so close that you would hear them all night. We arrived earlier than planned so phoned the guy that looks after the apartment, he arrived within 10 minutes to give us keys and sort everything out. Check out procedure was also quick and simple. The apartment is located close to the smaller supermarket (Sherpa) and the bakery. The larger supermarket in the centre of the station was 5 minutes walk. The wifi was fine and we were able to watch English channels on the iPad without any issues. The heating and hot water worked very well and the apartment is well equipped with cooking utensils/cutlery/crockery ect. During our stay we used the pull out double bed in the living area which was comfortable. There are also bunk beds which would be okay for small children. Although you could fit an average size adult in them I think it would be a bit of a squeeze having four adults sharing. The ski area was fab and suited our needs very well, lots of blue runs but also reds if you fancied them. There is a dedicated ski locker that would easily fit 4 pairs of skis/boots in it. We would definitely stay here again as the owners were kind and helpful throughout the booking process and also emailed mid week to check that everything was okay.

My wife and I had our first visit to Avoriaz this Easter and stayed at MalinKiGa which we found through a search. We were really pleased with our choice as it was a perfect apartment for our needs. It was clean, warm and had everything we needed. It is also really well located: You can walk from the Welcome Centre in a few minutes on flat ground so no need to hire a taxi or drag your bags up any steep slopes. You can ski/board out pretty much from the door and there is an excellent boulangerie and supermarket within 2 minutes walk from the apartment as well as restaurants and bars nearby. The area seemed quiet which we enjoyed too.
We were blessed with great snow and beautiful weather so all in all our holiday was excellent!
We would recommend MalinKiGa to anyone staying in Avoriaz.
