We stayed at this property for a few days while we visited our daughter in Hanover. It was a convenient location, not only to Hanover but also to Quechee and Woodstock. The house was clean and I enjoyed sitting on the back patio with my morning coffee. I appreciated the view and rural nature of the area. I'd definitely consider staying here again when we visit the area.

This house could not have been more perfect for us. My husband and I brought 4 teen boys for a rugby camp at Dartmouth, and we had a great time. We had plenty of space with the boys taking over the downstairs and my husband and me in the master. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook breakfasts and dinners and serve them beautifully on the large dining table. The shampoo/conditioner/soap in all of the showers and the extra dishwasher and laundry pods were a wonderful added convenience. We had cooler weather but the A/C units in the bedrooms and other areas would have been greatly appreciated on warmer summer days. The views were beautiful and we enjoyed exploring the Quechee area while the boys were at camp. The entire booking/arriving/departing process was seamless, and the owner was accommodating and very easy to work with and responded quickly to messages. I would highly recommend this house!!!

I stayed with my family, three young children, another family with a toddler and an infant and it was terrific! Audrey is a lovely host and the house was comfortable, well located, with gorgeous views.

Our 3 teenage children and the grandparents stayed in the house as a family getaway to enjoy the changing colors of the leaves. The house was in excellent condition with all the amenities you could want. The layout was perfect for having grandparents stay with us - there was an ability to get private time away from each other. The vistas were gorgeous. The house is located in an area without road lights so nervous drivers should take note. We loved it and would definitely rent it again.

So important to read the reviews, and Im so glad I did! The place is perfectly situated in the perfect spot to access all the major amenities and activities local to that area of Vermont! My family was there for a wedding and it turned into a favorite mini vacation. Fall in Vermont is so picturesque, and the hot air balloons that flew up over the mountains was like the cherry on top. Audrey is an amazing host, and responds very quickly when you message her. And like the other reviews, the pictures posted are beautiful, but it is so much better in person!! I would definitely recommend this place and If I were to every travel back, I know exactly where I would like to stay!

My family (including four adults and two kids - 4 and 7) has stayed here in July/August for the last few years and the experience is always stellar. The view is incredible, the furnishings are comfortable but also sophisticated. Communication with Audrey is incredible and this year she helped me work through an issue with vrbo that I created with kindness and patience until it was resolved. The location is great - tons to do. This year our kids went to day camp at VINS while we we worked from the house and the internet is SUPER fast - faster than in our urban home. We always eat every meal on the beautiful porch and the kitchen is perfectly supplied. Stay here, you will not regret it!

This property was just amazing. The house is actually nicer than the photos on its listing. The beds were extremely comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked and the views of the Quechee hills were amazing. We will definitely stay here again. It was fantastic for families.

My husband and I hosted our grown children to enjoy seeing. the trees changing. We are from Texas, Arizona, Colorado and Tennessee. What a beautiful setting we had for our adventure. Wild turkeys running across the back of the property, privacy, beautiful home and convenience to restaurants and shopping. The home was so beautifully maintained and stocked with the essentials. I cannot say enough nice things to and about our host. It was perfect, the best memory for all of us. Thanks!.

We have stayed at this gorgeous house for three summers now and it is equally amazing each year. Audrey is so easy to work with, the house is spacious, beautifully decorated and well equipped. My kids (3 and 6 this year) love the large lawn. We are every meal on the scenic deck. There’s a nice fire pit. Location is easy to get to all the fun spots in Quechee and Woodstock. Jake’s market five minutes away has all your essentials. Thanks for another perfect vacation!

Simply Fabulous!
The house was amazing and more than what was described. It was peaceful with loads of room to just relax in the natural setting. The house amenities were too numerous to mention in this short space.
Audrey was even more amazing. She communicated in a timely fashion, answered all our questions, and helped to make sure our son and his family could stay an extra 2 days. I'd recommend this property to anyone who wants a peaceful retreat.

We loved this house! It was perfect for our needs. We stayed with another family and it never felt crowded. The house has 3 living rooms so everyone could spread out. The kids loved sledding on the property and we loved the dining table for 10 people! Owners were nice and responsive! Would definitely stay again.

Peaceful getaway
This was a fantastic house with an unbelievable property. We were lucky enough to have snow while there and the kids were able to sled until their hearts content on the property. The attention to detail in this house is beautiful. The fireplace was used every night and plenty of wood was provided. All in all we had a great trip and Thanksgiving there.

Beautiful home in an amazing setting
We had such a wonderful time at this home! I agree with other reviewers that the pictures do not do it justice. The view is really beautiful and expansive. The home itself is pristine, nicely decorated and well laid out. We were four friends getting together who have traveled quite a few places and we all remarked that it is one of the nicest rental homes we have experienced - exceptionally clean and with a modern and fresh feel throughout. It was like being in a hotel but with the conveniences and comfort of a home. The area is lovely and we ventured out to Woodstock and Billings Farm, and The Publick House, with a drive by Quechee Gorge. There is so much to do in the area, we wish we had more than a 4-day weekend! The property is really scenic too. The view is amazing and the stars (not always available to we metro area dwellers) were beautiful. This is a great place to stay to get the best of everything in Vermont!

Best spot in Vermont
This home is incredible! The views are extraordinary at which the pictures are not able to capture the stunning beauty. The house was very comfortable, clean, user-friendly with a well stocked kitchen. We travel often and usually book VRBO properties. This property is the best one we have rented by far. Pictures and summary of the property are very accurate. We will return to this exact property when we return to Vermont.

Beautiful home
What a beautiful place! It is hard to say enough great things about this house. The view off the back deck and the whole yard is just gorgeous. We enjoyed a month long stay in August. The house is very well appointed and has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The furnishings are very nice. Kitchen is very well equipped with everything you would want to live for a month. It was an unusually hot August and us Texans were not used to not having central air. So we were uncomfortable for some of the hot days. There are portable a/c units and plenty of fans. Just nit what we were used to. Audrey was very easy to communicate with if we had any questions. She responded in a timely manner and was eager to help if there were any issues. I would highly recommend this beautiful house! We loved it! The only thing that was a little uncomfortable for us was the a/c situation. It was an unusually hot August and there were days where it was not comfortable. We are from Texas and used to central air. So we are not the best ones to But there are a couple of a/c units and plenty of fans but it was hard for us.

Wonderful home
Beautiful, immaculate home with several areas where all 8 of us could hang out together or split into smaller groups. Kids enjoyed playing the Wii on the lower level, with many provided games. We enjoyed lunch on the deck and its gorgeous views. Home has been renovated from top to bottom with great attention to detail and lovely furnishings. Ideally located near Quechee Club and restaurants, but wonderfully private.

Still amazing!
We stayed at this perfect home in august 2020 and it ruined us to all other rentals in the area so we just had to come back for another visit. It’s impeccably decorated, comfortable, relaxing, well supplied, the list goes on. We are pretty picky and have tried many rentals and this one is the best. In addition to cooking all our meals and eating them on the lovely porch we also made s’mores in the fire pit. Our kids (almost 2 and 5) love the yard and the basement living room and the kid bedroom is just as lovely as the adult ones.

Gorgeous location
Super awesome place to stay, the owners have thought of everything! The quality of furnishings, linens, kitchen supplies are top notch. Plenty of space with 3 living areas, and beds very comfortable. The house is very clean. Location near numerous attractions; no shortage of things to do... I began to wonder why I vacation so much internationally; everything is here. Thank you for the opportunity to stay here for our daughter's graduation at Dartmouth, very much appreciated. Highly recommend, photos do not do justice of the beauty of the area and quality of the home.

Wonderful House & View
Wonderful property. Amazing views out the back into the rolling hills. So close to town but you would never know it. Everything was nicely decorated and most bathrooms updated. Nice chairs and deck out back. So relaxing sitting in the Adirondack chairs in the early evening. Had a turkey walk by one morning. Was a pleasure to stay there.

Fantastic location and property
We absolutely loved this house and wouldn’t hesitate to return. We had two families and the house was perfect. So clean and updated. This particular occasion for us was a memorial service but the amenities offered would be superb for any other time. We built a fire in the fire pit every night and the young adults played Wii. We very much admired the garden area!

An Amazing Property
A great property in a great location. This is a beautiful, very well decorated and comfortable home. Nice spot with great views, land and a deck to enjoy the outdoors. Close to Quechee and not far from Woodstock, Lebanon and Norwich. It had every convenience one could need for a group stay. Upscale feel with the art and antiques and well maintained. Owner was very responsive and a joy to worth with. A very positive experience overall that I would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful week staying at this property. It exceeded our expectations - the house is deceptively large and the furnishings were lovely. The kitchen was more well stocked than mine at home. The decks overlook an amazing view of the valley. The owners were extremely attentive as well. We loved our stay and will return, hopefully soon.
