This was an annual girls trip. The property was clean and spacious and easily accommodated 7 women. Bedrooms and bathrooms were large. We enjoyed the pool and the lagoon and the staff were very attentive. Jesus was absolutely delightful and made sure we had everything we needed.
The resort is still under construction and with the wind blowing, it was quite dusty. So, I suggest checking the weather and being aware of this issue.

Beautiful property overlooking the beach and swimming pool. The condo was nicely furnished and came with everything we needed. The deck area was large and was comfortable. Having the golf cart available to us was an added bonus as we never needed to use the shuttle.

This property is as beautiful as the photos. 2 master suites but honestly all four bedrooms were beautiful and spacious with private baths. The movie room was never used because the balcony over looking the ocean was so pretty. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook and the beds were comfortable. The staff at resort was great as well.

Though the location of the property is 25 min drive from town and is under major construction, our room was beautiful and looked just like the pictures.

Regarding the rooms, the master bathroom to right of the kitchen has a shower that drains really slow. Too long a shower and you’ll flood the floor. The patio door in the bedroom to the right, just as you enter condo does not open (hatch is broken). The bedroom to left, just as you enter the condo has a ceiling light fixture that is falling out of the ceiling.
A few minor issues but the unit overall was in good condition.

Great view of the ocean. Spent many evenings watching sunset from very large deck. Whales were awesome. Highly recommend bringing binoculars. Nice that all 4 bedrooms were equal size. Kitchen had all high end appliances and 2 ice makers. Living area is very large. We brought our own food and cooked many of our own meals. Loved the hot tub. 2 golf carts were available for use which is nice because the resort is huge and ocean club is far away from other amenities. They also have shuttle that runs through resort. Unit overall was a bit weathered from previous renters. Some of the furniture needs replacement. Diamante is adding on to Ocean building so we had noise from construction a few days. Road going into Ocean Resort is dirt which made it very dust when you went for walks.

What a wonderful property with amazing views. The sunsets are beyond spectacular! Jesus was so attentive and accommodating to our every need. I truly enjoyed working with him and he was always very responsive. We were in town for a family wedding and the bridesmaids got their hair and makeup done in the suite. Everyone was blown away by the views of the ocean from the living areas. We will definitely come back.

Condo is very nice. Needs some TLC. One shower didn’t have hot water. AC was not working correctly, very humid inside. Then got better after we called. Construction was not expected. Should be told when booking. After we arrived 2 days later they demolished the entry and was noisy and dusty in the main hall. Also are building more units to the building. Dirt roads getting to the OCR. Not impressive drive up. Would maybe go back in 5-7 years. Rosemary and Jesus were very helpful. Our golf cart stopped working and Jesus got us an even nicer one. Also Jesus took care of an additional cleaning for the AC inconvenience. Thank you Jesus

8 of us stayed in room 201 for our 50th birthdays. The time at Diamante was perfect. Top notch accommodations and a beautiful setting.
We did not realize that the property surrounding the Ocean Club Resort is under complete construction. It didn’t hinder our stay because our view was ocean front. There was construction noise but again we chose to not let it impact our stay.
We’d highly recommend Diamante penthouse.

Simply Perfect & Best Family Vacay Ever
We couldn't have picked a better place to stay as a family! The condo was absolutely perfect! We had six with us... Me, my husband, our 18 yr old daughter and her boyfriend and our 16 yr old son and his best friend. Even though the beach at Diamante is unswimmable, the view from the extensive balcony made up for that... They even released baby sea turtles while we were there. Several swimmable beaches are within 25 minutes away. The Lagoon, the pool at OCR, the staff, the shuttle drivers, gym, tennis courts, spa, golf, food and so much more made our stay even more perfect. Our concierge booked us an ATV tour through Cactus Tours and that was one of the best 4 hour excursions we've ever done. We also booked a 4 hour boat tour to see the Arch, snorkel and swim out to a semi-private beach. All 6 of us said this is by far the best vacation we've ever done and none of us wanted to leave. The setup of the condo had everything we could ever want and more... Perfect place to stay at Ocean Residence Club (OCR) at Diamante. We highly recommend this place and we hope to come back next year.

Each room has an amazing view of the ocean. Extremely windy which caused sand to accumulate on the terrace. Should have a mid week cleaning crew come in and wash the terrace. Need a vacuum on the property, so we could have done some cleaning. Washer and Dryer does not work well. Pantry was locked so we did not have access to spices.
Did not have an adequate supply of utensils or drinking cups.

Best service, location and view of ocean
This is the best unit of the OCR establishment at Diamante. It’s on the same level as the lobby so you don’t have to take an elevator to get to the condo. It’s an easy walk downstairs to the pool. It has a great view of the ocean from all four bedrooms. We would definitely stay here again. However the condo is for sale. It would be a great investment. The staff is very friendly and we enjoyed having bathrobes for everyone. All the appliances are high end.

Beautiful Condo/House
Pictures online are great but really can’t compare to in person. Walking through the front doors opening up to an expansive great room and kitchen. An entire glass wall of collapsible doors opening to a deep patio overlooking the ocean. Plenty of outdoor furniture and a great six burner grill. I’m consistently disappointed with the quality of grills at VRBO properties but this owner did it right. Bedrooms were spacious and each en suite bathroom was spa quality. Beds were extremely comfortable!!! We cooked breakfast only in the house but there were plenty of great utensils to cook any meal. My experience at VRBO previously has inspired me to bring a collection of cooking spices on each trip from home. I have assembled a kit. You will need this or get caught having to buy. Could be a Covid thing that it is not allowed I’m not sure. Also the extra ice maker was fantastic for drinks. We did use the hot tub and it was first class and extremely clean. The resort pool was beautiful amd right outside our balcony. We had a private driver so getting to town was no problem for us. Can’t speak for taxis and or resort transportation. Overall fabulous place.

Diamanté resort is further away from the marina and San Jose, but the grounds and property were private and beautiful. Some of our group played golf, and was highly complimentary of the course and caddy. We also enjoyed the lagoon, tennis courts, private OCR pool, and the direct beach view and access. Perfect amount of space for 4 couples.

Overall, we had a great stay in Cabo. The online pics represents the property well. The dining room table is a bit worn, but overall it is as you see it in the pictures. There were only a few things of concern that we had to solve in the week. 1) there was a fowl smell leading into the unit, that was resolved two days into my stay. 2) the hot tub was not ready for use on day 1 but was later cleaned. I was told that cleaning typically happens on Tuesday’s and Thursday,; we checked in on a Monday, and didn’t attempt to use it until Tuesday evening, and it was not clean. I reported it and it was cleaned on Thursday. 3) I ordered a pre-arrival grocery list, and had missing items that was attempted to resolve once. I was still missing items, so asked that they just cancel those items.Outside of those three items, the unit is functional for large groups, and the views of the ocean are great. The beds were comfortable and we enjoyed our six days at the unit. If you’re looking for a stay on the beach and away from the typical tourist scene, this is a great place. My group enjoyed the week. The staff was great; the OCR front-desk, valet and drivers for on-site shuttle was great. If you don’t have a rental car, taxis and private car service can add up for trips outside of Diamante. If I need another trip to get away and decompress away from the typical tourist crowds, I will consider this place in the future.
