Very nice property, we enjoyed our stay. Only rating below 5-Stars was the accuracy of the bedding options. I expected either a pull-out sofa (sleeper) and/or a twin bed from the desciption. We used the air matress over the sofa, but it just wasn't what we expected. Otherwise, everything else was well stocked and the labeling was a nice touch for the lighting switches and linen options. Condo was as advertised. River was low which kind of made the area look depressing.

The owner did a great job making this condo as comfortable and welcoming as possible. Although it doesn't have a view of the lake, it still had a nice view of the sunrise above the treetops and the surrounding hills. We loved the privacy of the porch and there was comfortable seating and bed. Our only complaint of the condo itself was that it seemed a tad dusty in certain areas and the spa tub that appeared really clean at first actually had quite a bit of soap residue. We were looking forward to using any of the complex's 3 hot tubs or swimming pools, but were all either super cold, empty, taped off and under maintenance, or full of what looked like rust? Thankfully we still had a great time relaxing in the condo and didn't mind too much, but access to an indoor/heated pool and/or hot tub was the #1 reason we booked in this location to begin with and I didn't feel like taking the time to clean the tub to my liking.

We loved our stay. It had everything we needed. The deer was such a bonus. The building is a bit older but I think it adds to the charm.

We enjoyed our stay. There were many thoughtful touches such as shampoo and lotion and sufficient dishwashing liquid and pellets that we appreciated. We especially enjoyed looking down from the patio through the treetops at the deer.

The condo and property were both beautiful. The condo was well stocked, has a super comfortable bed, and wonderful outdoor balcony space. We enjoyed the property’s amenities including the hot tub, sauna, many outdoor spaces, and the deer. It was the perfect relaxing little trip we were needing!

Me and my wife came here to celebrate our anniversary. The place is quiet and has everything you need for a relaxing stay. The room was full of amenities and the owner was very responsive. We will come back again and again.

Very nice property. On an island and and the small miniature deer are very friendly and a nice interesting twist Ace interesting twist to this amazing place to hang out for the weekend. A lot of amenities and very friendly people at this awesome get away in Northwest Austin. Don't worry

This condo was perfect for a stay “away” in a quiet, beautiful place. Situated on the 3rd floor, it offers great views of the surrounding lake and hills.

The scenery's beautify, location about 1 hrs from downtown Austin and 3.5 hrs from Dallas. Condo has everything as mentioned from online from Microwave, oven, dishwasher, washer/dryer machines, except no outdoor grill. I gave 5 stars, because the condo has a lot of commentary and nice scenery. However, the living room sofa table needed to fix or replace. Overall, it is a nice family vocation. Plans to return if the weather cooler. It was too hot for outdoor activities.

Great condo with great scenery. 3rd Floor unit with great views. Host was very responsive with an AC issue that was quickly resolved. Nicely furnished and equipped. Small W/D in the unit, 1. 5 baths with a decent sized shower and a soaking tub my wife loved. Bed was comfy. Resort was clean and well maintained. There is a herd of deer that wander the property. You shouldn't feed them, but if you must I recommend carrots or apples, not junk food, from the safety of your car. They are wild animals and will knock you down for a snack. Lucky Rabbit has live music and good food about 20 minutes away. Definitely a repeat if I need to be in Lago Vista again.

Everything was great. I have only one problem is that I am traveling with my spouse who is handicapped. While the path to the room was great, the bed and table in the room were for tall people. My husband could not use the bed as it was too high. The table was also a rather high patio type table so it was useless to him. This surprised me while looking at the photos of the apt. Other than this it was great.

My wife and I love this area and this was the nicest one-bedroom condo we have stayed in.

We had a great weekend! The view from the balcony was amazing. We sit out in the day and at night. The house is Hugh and very nice, they truly give you everything needed to have a great time on the property. We will book with her again that’s for sure.

This is the perfect getaway apartment. Has great views right out of your window. Located on an island. Nice community pool and hottub.

Great place to relax and unwind. The outdoor patio was breezy and comfortable even in the hot Texas summer. A few cobwebs here and there, broken blinds, and other little details that might warrant a once over, but overall a nice stay!! Thank you.

Beautiful location.

We stayed here to celebrate my birthday and it was amazing. The condo was very clean and well equipped. We cooked and enjoyed using the grill and found amazing hiking trails nearby. The Manager was very attentive and helpful. I highly recommend this place.

Place was clean with the exception of the electric grill that is outside. It still had pieces of rib meet on it. Pots, pans, silverware, blender, toaster, cooking utensils, spices, coffee creamer, tea, flour, and sugar all available for you to use if needed. Swimming pool is on 1st floor of course hours were from 11-9 pm at night. We were still able to maintain our social distance. Lake was low on our side but you can still enjoy fishing and perhaps getting your feet wet if you'd like. Tennis courts are to the left when entering the estates. Bbq grills and picnic area are down the hill to the right. One thing that could've been better is the parking spot I could barely open my car door without hitting the car next to us. Lowe's market is about a 15 minute drive so if you need any groceries make sure you pick them up on your way there. HEB is about 45 minute drive depending on traffic and also the roads are pretty steep and curvy but the views are amazing!!! Overall we enjoyed this mini get-a-way.

Our family of four stayed at this property from 7/27-7/31. We booked sort of last minute so two bedroom options were limited, but this worked out just fine. We have a 10 month old who slept in a pack-n-play and a 3 year old who slept on an air mattress in the master. There was plenty of space and we never felt cramped. The condo was very clean and nicely updated. We spent the majority of our time at the pool and the kids had a blast. The pool was large enough that it was easy for everyone to have their own personal space and it never felt crowded. The views from the pool are fantastic. The wraparound balcony was surprisingly large and had nice views of the lake. Once the kids went down in the evening this was a very nice place to spend time. The grounds were well kept and everything felt clean and organized. The owner of this property was very accommodating, reasonable and quick to respond. Our original vacation was for 7/27-7/30, however we wanted to extend our stay by one night, and the owner made this a very easy process (luckily the next guest was not set to arrive until Friday). There were various floats and other items in the condo to take advantage of what The Island amenities had to offer, which was a nice touch. One thing to know: The Island is pretty secluded. We knew this going in, and with two small children we hadn't planned to leave the condo with the exception of one day where we rented a boat. This being the case, the seclusion part was actually a benefit to us. If you are looking for a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, night spots, etc., you will be driving a little while to get there. We stopped on the way in and loaded up with everything we needed so this was a non-issue for us. This stay earned it's 5* rating. We will be going back again.

The grounds of The island are beautifully maintained. The condo was clean and the sunflower decor was a cheerful addition. This condos balcony has a nice view of the lake. We were here for our 41st wedding anniversary. Very nice stY and pet friendly
