Could not have asked for a more comfortable and well equipped house ( mountain bikes even provided!). The views from the living area and bedrooms were stunning, the kitchen was well equipped and the fireplace was most enjoyable especially when sitting in those fabulous sheepskin beanbags. Highly recommended.

We had an absolutely fantastic weekend away and the house is 5 stars. The views are amazing. The house is well equipped; we all enjoyed having our own bathrooms and the breakfast treats were very much appreciated. All of us would love to book the house again to spend time with friends and family!

My young kids and elderly parents had a fantastic stay at IVP. It surpassed every expectation. Wanaka is such a beautiful place and IVP has captured its every angle perfectly. Thank you for the wonderful experience.

Wonderful house Both the owner and the local property manager were very helpful, easily accessible for questions. Quiet residential area with incredible views.. Have already booked 2 weeks for 2024, and expect to add another stay there during that 4-6 week South Island trip

I can't say enough about this property. We booked it long in advance, and our host was quick and excellent with communication throughout the process. This property is beautiful, spacious, and has just about everything you need to have a good time during your stay. The floorplan is gorgeous and thoughtfully designed. It has stellar views of Lake Wanaka and the surrounding mountains. The kitchen is well-equipped and the furnishings are excellent and comfortable. It is in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with other gorgeous homes nearby. The internet worked great from all rooms, and the air conditioning worked quickly and well when and if it was needed. Even though we were there in the heart of the summer, we didn't need to use the air conditioner much because there was always a fresh, gentle afternoon breeze blowing and we had the windows wide open to let the fresh breeze cool the house. Having the bikes in the garage were great. We used them often. It you like to walk or bike, the trails begin a hundred feet away. When we wanted to take the car to a nearby beach or go to downtown Wanaka, it's a very quick 5 to 7 minutes away. The town of Wanaka is wonderful, the people are friendly and the surrounding region abounds with nature's breath-taking beauty. I hope we can soon return to this location, and if we do, this place would be solidily at the top of the list to stay. It's an absolute slice of heaven.

First impressions was of a very clean, well appointed modern property with uncluttered space and beautiful furnishings. . Digging a little deeper we found a kitchen so well stocked with cookware, serviceware and appliances (eg. dual ovens and dishwashers) that we were able to prep elaborate meals. The garage had multiple bikes with helmets and locks. The beds were very comfortable and linens top notch. The property is near the top of a hill providing unobstructed panoram8c mountain and lake views. It is quick access to town, the lake and the bike and hike trails. All that was missing was a longer stay. The only minor irritant was that the wifi was unreliable beyond the main living area... something easily fixable. Can't recommend this property enough.

The host is incredibly accommodating. The house is beautiful and has everything you need. Excellent property.

We had three family groups with 6 kids aged 8-11. The house exceeded expectations and was just what we all needed for our ski week holiday. Great bedroom options and living spaces, bathrooms for each family, well stocked kitchen and a welcome pack of essentials including coffee and more than 2 dishwashing tabs! We loved it here, the view, the fire, the facilities at the house were all fantastic. Disappointing that the communal spas in the weren’t working but the hot water and shower pressure made up for it. Thank you, thank you, thank you! We hope to come again.

This house is an experience destination all of its own. Such wonderful spaces in this architecturally designed home and beautifully decorated. There are so many individual spaces for each member of the family to find their place to relax and look out the windows to the incredible views this house is designed to capture. Such a beautiful space to be in and to move through and to relax and enjoy our holiday. Excellent access to the middle of Wanaka, we felt like this was an amazing home away from home and loved every minute of it. We can't wait to come back with other family members. Cheers Smith Family

We had a fantastic stay at IVP. The property was very clean, everything possibly required for a family holiday was supplied (including many bikes of different sizes), and the communications and instructions provided by the management team were prompt and clear. The views from all rooms of the house are truly magnificent. We really enjoyed a restful stay and look forward to a return trip this winter.

We booked this house for ourselves and family, for 4 days as our base in Wanaka to celebrate our daughters wedding. This house could not have been better. Plenty of room, stunning views, and Julianne and Sabine were both fantastic to communicate with. This place will hold a special memory for us, when we look back on our daughters wedding. Highly recommend.

We stayed at Island View Place for 5 nights in October. To be honest, it must rate as one of the best family holidays we've had. The house is spacious, and well laid out. The outside area for eating / sun-bathing a real treat, and the views are amazing of course. Weather was great, check-in easy. Bikes to cruise round the lake a bonus.
