My family loved our stay here. There were four adults and four children with plenty of room. The kitchen was well equipped and the house was clean. We loved to sit on the deck and look at the beautiful mountain view. We explored the national park and the Blue Ridge Parkway. It’s about 15 minutes to Waynesville to stock up on groceries. Communication with the owner was excellent. We definitely plan to come back here again.

The view was amazing. The downstairs was perfect for my mother-in-law and her boyfriend. I would recommend this place. The downstairs futon/couch had a sign that it was broke so we did not try to open it but we had plenty of sleeping spots. The beds were very comfortable.

This was our second time staying here. Great upstairs/downstairs if you have teenagers or two families. Wonderful Mountain View's. Just at the bottom of the mountain if you are going skiing. Close to all the things to do.

The house and location are beautiful and convenient. We had a wonderful trip. There was plenty of space, we had lots of home cooked meals, and even saw an elk on the property. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Almost Heaven “The Cliffs”. The views off the deck were great, and the cabin was very clean and nicely furnished. The bed was comfortable.
There is a wall hanging of a bear in the hallway that we really liked. When we contacted Kathy Brrown the property manager to ask about it, she went out of her way to contact the housekeeper who had purchased it to tell us where she had got it (a gift shop in Cherokee).

We enjoyed our stay so much!! The downstairs was perfect for my son, his wife and four month old baby. The location was great. The kitchen was well stocked. Overall this was a perfect trip!!!

We stayed in the cabin for our annual family vacation in Maggie Valley. The cabin was very clean and large enough to accommodate our whole family. It was just like being at home. We hope to stay again soon. Thank you!!

Perfect Getaway
The property was wonderful, very clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. The house exceeded our expectations, the views were spectacular the location was easy to get to. We couldnt have been more happy with the property. The check in and out process was simple, the owner/property manager were great to deal with. I would certainly reccomend this property to anyone looking for the perfect place. The worst part about the trip was having to leave! 5 Stars for us!!!

Christmas in the Mountains
This cabin was ideal for our family Christmas in the mountains! The location was so close to everything; we were hoping for snow, as it is minutes from the ski resort. The cabin is well equipped with everything needed for preparing meals and plenty of room for the extended family. It was great having a washer/dryer, as well as dishwasher. The place has all the conveniences of home! We felt welcome immediately with all the holiday decor throughout the cabin. Two Christmas trees and little touches throughout! Truly provided a homey place for holiday!
The cabin’s split floor plan is so spacious!
We loved the front porches and taking in the Mountain View’s. Highly recommend Almost Heaven for your next mountain get away!

So great that we extended!
The property was even better than pictured! The views from the double porch alone make this place worth the visit. The space was so well cared for and worked great for us for our 3 week long stay in Maggie Valley. The internet was extremely reliable and fast, which made working remotely so easy. The location is great, close to everything in Waynesville and great hiking. Can't wait to come back for a second visit!

Everything was as advertised. The only hiccup was the battery was bad in the smoke detector and they fixed it quickly! Excellent communication from the owner! Will stay there again!

Great stay
A great house for myself, wife, toddler, and dog. A little bigger than we needed (as we didn’t utilize the downstairs) but really appreciated the large deck with fairly private backyard. Was closer to several other houses than expected, but still a good quiet cul-de-sac. but Quick to get in and out of town and a good central location for lots of hikes. House was in good shape and clean upon arrival. It was well stocked with utensils and cooking items. Hosts were easy to get a hold of for some clarifications and additional specifics.

New Year’s in the mountains
Everything was as listed! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you would need to make your own meals if you wanted. It is also very conveniently located close to local restaurants and tube world. We would definitely highly recommend.

A White Christmas in Almost Heaven
The cabin was the perfect gathering place for our family and waking up to a white Christmas made it even more perfect.
The only downside was the lack of heat in the lower level. The fireplace wasn't working and the central heating system didn't reach downstairs unless it was overly hot upstairs. We appreciated the mini heating unit but one was not sufficient.
This hiccup, however, did not ruin our holiday.

Beautiful view
Only a few disappointments: Got a pan out of cabinet that had water in it, the pizza cutter was greasy and a few more items were greasy. House a little dusty and had some cob webs in it. The sofa in upstairs living room is very uncomfortable! Other than that everything was great.

I would like to thank the owners of this property for the welcoming, comfort, and condition of the cabin. Very nice decorated and also with a million dollar view. Very well situated in a quiet small neighborhood. Very convenient for quiet families since nine others cabins are very very close to Almost Heaven

Enjoyed our stay!
The house was great. It was very spacious and everything we needed was here. Parking was a challenge since it is a sharp turn uphill but that’s just the way it is in the mountains. We did not realize that the living area was on the upper level. Bringing in luggage and groceries was a workout. Still, we enjoyed the porches and the view.

Fantastic views!
This place was fantastic! The views from the porches are breathtaking. We spent a lot of time just sitting on the porches. The place is large, well equipped and very close to town. We even saw elk eating the apples in the back yard the day we left. We will return!

Gorgeous Views
Almost Heaven had the most amazing views! It was conveniently located, close to the main road. The cabin was very clean and very spacious. We loved the back area for the dogs to play. The property manager was readily available to answer our questions. We will definitely be back! Loved it!

What a wonderful property! Our family has rented many times through VRBO and this one ranks near the top. The attention to detail really sets this one apart. It's the little things that added up to an exceptional experience. For example, we arrived to a wonderful welcome basket of goodies and snacks, hand sanitizer was provided and liquid hand soap was plentiful, numerous maps and brochures to local attractions were available, reusable grocery totes by the front door, any kitchen utensil you could imagine, etc. I could go on and on. Hats off to the owner and property manager for keeping the house stocked with everything you could ever need.
The house is tastefully decorated and the beds were super comfortable. The layout of the house is highly functionalable. The downstairs has its own kitchenette and TV area so the house could easily accommodate two families. We have two teens so they were delighted to have their own space.
Finally, the view is incredible. Our morning cup of coffee on the rocking chair front porch was the highlight of our trip.

Maggie Valley trip
The cabin was beautiful and in a very nice area! The only problem we had was my 85 year old mother accompanied us and had difficulty climbing to the upper floor. But we made it work with all the acommodations! Thanks for an awesome vacation experience!

Great location, Clean, Comfortable, Great For Skiing
We could not have ask for a better location to the slopes just up the hill from the driveway . Nice comfortable beds big kitchen with huge table for plenty of folks. If you ski this unit has a garage with a huge door that you can come in and drop everythingto leave for the next day and walk right into the house and lot have to look at your mess. I will be back soon!!

This cabin is stunning. The location is spectacular. Our stay was wonderful.
There is a lot of space, and it is tastefully decorated. It looks as if the house is staged for magazine shoot.
The kitchen has everything you need, and even stuff that’s just nice to have (I’m looking at you, cheese grater.)
The beds are very comfortable, with nice linens. The cabin is well cared for and absolutely immaculate.
It’s clear that the owners want you to enjoy your time and be able to relax fully. There was a lovely welcome basket, games, and lots of information about the local attractions.
It’s close to skiing and town. You won’t be wrong if you choose this place.
