We like the ambience and the quiet location

The pictures given were different to the actual room. The room was a superior room with extra space but that space is actually shared between 2 rooms which wasn't mentioned. Technically we couldn't use that space. The pictures on the website give you a feeling that the resort is huge but it's not so.

Breakfast was good.

Service was very slow. When we checked in it took more than an hour to get the rooms key. Also It took more than an hour for the food to arrive, and there was no explanation from the staff.

Overall architecture

House keeping was poor. Found fungus on Bed as well walls. same was intimated at reception but they were reluctant to take note of the same. Also indoor games zone AC was not working properly. No special arrangement for Christmas. No bonfire and sound system was provided on cristmas night. Food orders was totally mess up. So many things to be improvise.

The best part about the property is even though it's not huge, they have managed to keep all the facilities like kids play area and Swimming pool and Jacuzzi nicely organised. The place is calm and close to expressway.

The staff behaves like Government employees, their attitude lacks hospitality.. also, we checked in on a weekday so the resort was having less than 30% occupancy, but we still were given the worst possible corner room which was smalllest in size, which we came to know on check out day. And yes they were sceptical when it comes to reservation through Booking.com and probably that may be reason for the worst room allotment as well.. Also, during breakfast one of the guest had also found Bread with Fungus, which is horrible....!!!

The children play area is good.

We felt the charges of room per day are very high as they didn't reached expectations. We have stayed in many resorts which have good hospitality and services, from those all resorts this is the highest charged resort and didn't even reached the minimum expectation. The cleanliness of rooms the ambiance was not very good. It was very normal. The buffet breakfast which is provided is also not good we are not able to enjoy. Really disappointed with this meritas countryside.

Food was good. Taste and preparation. Good variety in the breakfast as well.

The service was slow and had to ask for every small thing specifically and give reminders as well. Overall facilities and property was mediocre and not worth the price. The arrangement was not adequate at all for accomodating 3 people, and this while charging so much extra for the 3rd person is totally not justified.

I didn't like the receptionist nor the staff. Even the food is below avg.

Lonavala in general was great. Hotel itself a nice cozy set up. Doubt I'd return to this resort again or recommend anyone here until they have same management

The manager there is none accommodating and border line rude. Doesn't seem to be any good at his job. Definitely not a hospitality person. Says something does something else. Fortunately staff working there are good. The bathroom door was not closing properly. The maintenance came and managed to break the door. Glass everywhere. No change of room, compensation was supposed to be some discounts on the food we ate at the restaurant, even that finally Manager came up with some excuse and gave only partial. Basically conned us into staying in a room with out a bathroom door and charged us full for it. Fortunately the clean up did a great job and even though we were worried for the kids getting knicked , all went well.
