This house was great for our families to celebrate NYE. The location is PERFECT! Plenty of room in the house. Can’t wait to come back to south haven in warm weather

Everything was great! The house was very nice and clean. Lots of seating. Would be great for a summer stay for sure. It was very nice being in walking distance of the downtown restaurants. WiFi was available and easy to use. The ad did say the TV was a smart TV but it did not appear to be. There was a Firestick remote but no Firestick. That was really the only issue we had. It had lots of linens and fans in each of the bedrooms which was great. We were only there for 2 nights but it had everything you'd need for a longer stay.

Got together with high school girlfriends to celebrate all of us turning 70. Arrived at the Indiana house and every room was spotless and so comfortable. We all loved the kitchen that had everything we needed for us to cook. Loved sitting out on the deck enjoying Michigan fresh air. Short walk to town for shopping and restaurants. Michael's rentals are well cared for and you will feel like you are at home. Highly recommend!

The property and location were great for our visit to south haven. The property manager was prompt in responding to any questions and provided recommendations. We had a great time!

Awesome location, price wasn't a great value, but this was a bit of a splurge on a high volume weekend to make the trip easier given access to the beach/harbor for our family without needing to drive. Would stay again.

Perfect location! Walking distance to parks, beach and downtown. House well equipped and accommodating for a big family. Owner was very helpful and quick with communication.

The house was nice, we rented because it had 5 bedroons and 4 full baths to accommodate our family groups. We had 4 kids, so the 4 bunk beds were awesome. We had a water heater issue for most of visit, but there was an outside shower with hot water and the property owner is making good with us. Communication with the owner was great. This is a great house for family groups or just couples. Nice stocked kitchen and dishwasher. Short walk to Downtown and Beach. We had a wagon to haul stuff to the beach. Never had to drive if we didn't want to. Beautiful area(South Haven). I loved the kitchen! Nice bath towels too.

Michael was a gracious host. The house is in a darling part of the town. You can walk to the town for dinner, shopping, and treats. You can see the boats from the street! Lovely property and was perfect for our needs.

The 9 of us enjoyed the beautiful house and its location near the beach, harbor, and town. You truly can’t beat this location! It’s an easy walk to all three. The kitchen was large enough to be cooking meals for 9 with lots of helpers. It’s pretty well stocked. We also used the nice gas grill twice. There was plenty of room to be together for the Ohio State football game on the extra large L couch. There were enough tables/areas that some could be playing a board game while others played euchre and others did homework. The beds were just so so. The showers had plenty of hot water and good pressure. Plenty of good towels. Each room had a fan if needed for white noise or hot flashes! The AC worked great. The owner was extremely nice and helpful with good communication. He even allowed us to check out later since no one was right behind us.

Perfect location! Both downtown South Haven and beach area within walking distance. Michael was dry communicative throughout the whole process which made check in and out very easy. House had a nice kitchen and large living areas to accommodate the whole family.

Had an issue with the A/C, they took care of it super fast. Great communication and response. Great location as well!

Lovely well equipped home close to everything! Short walk to the beach, splash pad, playground or downtown. The older members of our group really enjoyed the porch and the kids loved being close to everything. Great for kids and adults!

We really enjoyed our stay. Location was 3 minutes to town and 10 minutes to beach. Place was super clean and easy check out process. Michael was very accessible and quick to respond. Would stay again. Would recommend you bring your critical beach stuff as nothing available on property and storage is limited.

Our family stayed here for a week and a had a great stay. The location is perfect - very short walk to both downtown and the beach. There’s even an easy path to the beach nearby without stairs so it’s easy for strollers. Has a great kitchen for cooking and lots of parking which is nice. Communicated quickly and easily with host to answer any questions I had. Thanks for a great stay!

A wonderful weekend getaway! I can’t say enough good things about this house. A beautiful kitchen and eating area so the whole family could be together. There were enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to be comfortable in their own space. The house is a close walk to town and beach - best of both worlds. Our favorite activity was walking down the steps at end of the street to walk along the harbor at sunset. We will be back!

My family had a great time at this house! We have three small children and wanted to stay somewhere this time around where we didn't have to use our car. This house was perfect for walking to kids corner, the beach, and the downtown multiple times a day. The house had plenty of space, the kitchen is beautiful and the outdoor area was really relaxing. Our kids had a blast playing on the brick driveway/front yard area and talking to all the people walking to/from downtown.

My wife became quite ill and we were unable to go but the other five went and raved about the house. Would highly recommend the property to anyone.

We had a great time at the house. We spent way more time in town and on the beach. Overall great experience. There were just a few things left in the showers from before. Both garbage can were full and I let Michael know and he returned my message back quickly. Thanks for a great stay and experience.

We had a very nice stay, and found the home equipped with everything we needed. It was nice to have two rooms upstairs with bathrooms en suite. Great for two families (we have four kids total). The stairway carpeting could use updating. Very close to beach (10 min walk). Downstairs the windows could use screens. We would have liked to be able to keep windows open down there.

We loved this location. We visit South Haven every year and this location was a short walk to the beach and to town making it the perfect spot. The home was clean with plenty of room for the family meals, games and just hanging out. Thank you for opening your vacation home to us, we really enjoyed our stay.

As mentioned, location was great, home was clean, no complaints in that regard. Sadly, and I take responsibility, we were a bit too loud our first night there (our radio was on, and some of our guests started grilling past the curfew instructions listed inside the home.) I was asleep during this time when I received 5 am texts and calls from the host on the inconvenience since he had received emails and texts from the neighbor reporting the music and grilling. I called the host in the am once I woke (since I seen the missed call/voicemail and numerous texts). He explained what the neighbor complained about and went on brining up my husbands Navy service quoting what the branch stands for. He pretty much Facebook stalked and mentioned my family during, what felt like, a child scolding. Felt stalked at this point, exposed and completely weird... I personally apologized to the neighbor and mentioned it would not happen again. He was gracious and appreciated the sentiment. Weekend ends and I confirm we are out of the house. 1. He texts me how he appreciates me apologizing to the neighbor for the noise, but the rest of the party should have done so, as well. I try to give short answers so he can leave the topic alone and end the conversation period. Apologies were made and that was that. 2. Member of our group forgets his wallet, I reach out to host to ask if the cleaning company can look for it. Once he seen and knew the name of our guest, he mentioned him by name and asked if he was the one that kept the neighbor up all night. Creepy! I was feeling stalked at first and now I’m feeling both stalked and harassed... In a nut shell, if you rent from this host you will be social media stalked, harassed and have your integrity questioned if you break the noise level rule.
