This comfortable home has everything you need including kayaks, a canoe and fishing poles. For the evening there are games, Roku streaming TV, and books with local Maine attractions for you to plan your vacation. If you wish a fire pit is available for your family and friends to gather around in the evening. With two bathrooms and laundry most of your needs are covered. The location on a Maine lake gives you the opportunity to see and hear the numerous loons that summer on the lake. We counted 20 in one group.

We had a great stay here last week! We spent time in Acadia, Blue Hill, Brooklin and Deer Isle and did not mind the driving at all. Coming back to the lake house was definitely a nice retreat from the crowds as stated in previous reviews. The fire pit was awesome! Ben was very communicative and helpful. Wouldn't hesitate at all to stay here again. Our daughters are teenagers but this place is very well suited for younger ones. Thank you Ben!

At the house & away in Ellsworth, Bar Harbor, Acadia and others. Plenty to do at the House/Lake - Kayak, swim, Fish, Bike, Jog/Walk, read and relax. The Fire Pit was large and very nice.

The house was immaculate and the location was perfect for us. We loved the quietness of the lake. We brought our 19 foot boat and used the dock which was in beautiful condition. The kitchen was incredibly well stocked with more than just the usual such as vegetable oil ( for making brownies), Saran Wrap, sandwich bags and many spices and other things you would hate to have to buy for a one time use on vacation. It was about an hour drive to Acadia and bar harbor which was worth it to us to be in such a quiet area. The upstairs bathroom was very elderly friendly with a walk in shower and grab bars if you are traveling with an elderly parent. Plenty of clean towels and beach towels and all the lake toys you could imagine including a canoe and kayaks. There was a window ac unit downstairs which kept the whole downstairs cool during a very hot and humid week. There were fans upstairs that kept the bedrooms comfortable at night when it cooled down outside. The level yard accommodated all of our vehicles and we were able to store our bikes inside where the lake toys were. We would highly recommend this property and will likely be renting again if we decide to return to the area next summer

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lake front home in Ellsworth. It is located on a long dirt road about 3 miles in with beautiful views of green lake and the mountains. The house was equipped with everything we needed and very comfortable and clean. We made use of the kayaks and canoe as well as the fire pit. My husband fished in the lake and caught pickerel, white perch smallmouth bass, pumpkin seed and red breasted sunfish. Our dog loved kayaking with my daughter in the lake and watching my husband fish. We drove about an hour every day to see the sights in Bar Harbor and hike in Acadia but loved coming back to the peace and quiet of the lake house. This trip was for my daughter who graduated from high school and she loved every minute of it. Thank you Ben.

After our two week stay, we hated to leave. The view of the lake never gets old. The house is equipped with everything you need to be comfortable and have fun on the water. It's close to many areas to hike including Acadia National Park. But if you don't feel like driving, just walking or running on the road is very peaceful. I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home.

Cabin is located on beautiful Green Lake, a deceivingly large lake. Comes fully stocked with every water activity you could want. Close to both Acadia and Bangor where we spent most of our time enjoying hiking and hanging out with friends. Our dog loved the lake too! Would highly recommend!

Home away from home- beautifully comfortable and organized home with great lake views from the deck and the nice dock-listen to the sound of loons and the quietness!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. We love it! The owners have equipped the kitchen with every implement one could imagine and the spice cabinet is well stocked with frequently used seasonings. There are two one-person kayaks, one two-person kayak, and a canoe. I'm sure that many people use the property as a jumping off point to go to Acadia, which is about a 40 minutes drive, we we mostly hung out by the lake and enjoyed the quiet.

We stayed at the property for three weeks. The property was very nice and the location on the lake was perfect. I docked my boat at the lake house which allowed us to fish and explore the lake. The property is convenient to Bangor, Ellsworth, Bar Harbor and many harbors on the coast and is located on a dead-end gravel road which kept traffic to a minimum. A milestone for our family was our youngest son proposed to his girlfriend at Acadia National Park on a hiking trail with a beautiful scenic overlook. Our two sons, daughter-in-law and future daughter-in-law spent spent several days exploring Mount Desert Island and Acadia National Park. We would consider renting this lake house again in the future.

The property was just as advertised! The access to the lake was awesome, and the house had everything we needed, down to sugar for our morning coffee on the deck. The owner responded quickly the one time we had a question. I would definitely recommend this property and would book again anytime we are in the area.

Good place with awesome views

Property was clean, the home perfect for us. We had a variety of people on this trip...a gamer, hikers, a stay at home Mom who provides wonderful meals and a fella who would have happily spent his time on the deck enjoying the beauty of the lake. For my grandaughter and I it was early morning kayaking on a mirror with morning mist surrounding us. Breathtaking.

The reviews from others were correct. Beautiful spot. Our trip was for Changing of the Colors and this was perfect for the viewing. We really enjoyed our coffee on the patio, listening to the creek. I would recommend this to anyone.

We wish the property had been closer to Bar Harbor, but that was our fault in not knowing the length of the drive each day. We did cook 2 meals a day at the home and wish a few of the supplies had been more updated, like the can opener(s); better/sharper knives. Owner's description was very accurate. Pier was in great shape. Great rental for family with young children.

Beautiful lake house with all one needs to enjoy great deck with lake views- comfortable furnishings-

The accommodations could not have been better. Ben and Brittany have thought of EVERYTHING to make you feel all the comforts of home while you’re away. Our family has come to Green Lake for the last 16 years. It is our favorite place to come to connect as a family, leave the stress of everyday life for a while and enjoy the abundance of nature. Our week was everything we hoped it would be.

This property is amazing. Super clean, super cozy/homey and extremely well equipped. They literally had anything you could want or need during your stay. Very comfy linens and towels too. We loved using the kayaks and canoe on the lake. I really can’t say enough good things about this place. Best rental we’ve ever stayed in - no one wanted to leave!

We had a fantastic week! The house is far nicer then the old photos on the website. The location on the lake is right off of a postcard. Easy ride into Acadia and things to do in the area. Should have stayed another week!.

What an incredible place to stay. We had our 10 month old with us and our dog and we felt at home! They had everything you might need for a kiddo, plates, supply cups, pack n play! The place was immaculately clean and really felt homey. Would definitely stay again!

We had a lovely time staying at the property. The location on the lake was absolutely gorgeous. Even though it was extremely buggy and we did not spend much time outside, the deck and windows facing the lake gave a great atmosphere. The house was clean and open which was helpful for having little kids. The bathrooms were clean and the kitchen was packed with the essentials. Overall it was a great stay!

Since it was a pretty short stay, we didn't really care that we expected a days-gone-by, rustic home. That was what the pictures made it look like. We were very pleasantly surprised that it was quite modern with a spectacular view from master bedroom window. It is absolutely the cleanest and most well-organized VRBO/Air BnB we've ever rented.

This was just right for our family. Comfortable, clean house. Great location on the lake, easy swimming and a lovely dock. Fire pit and floats were a really nice feature and overall just the right fit for our time in Maine. Green Lake is large and beautiful! And Ben was so easy to communicate with, super organized. Highly recommend.

This rental exceeded our expectations. The pictures online are incredibly accurate. The house was spacious and clean and the location is secluded but not too far away from downtown Ellsworth. Green Lake is quiet, clean, and perfect for a boat to cruise on. The owners communicated well and made themselves available in case we needed anything during our stay. Our favorite part was definitely the water entry out back; the gradual sandy beach entry was perfect for our dogs to walk in and out of the water. My friends and I rent a lakehouse every year and overall this property is one of the best we've rented. Highly recommend if you're looking for a great time!
