This was our 3rd year in a row staying in this home and as expected, it remains perfect for us! We love the open kitchen & living room area. The backyard & pool keeps the kiddos entertained when we’re not on the beach. The beach is an easy 5 minute walk away! We also appreciate the beach gear provided in the rental closet. It’s helpful in a pinch. Thanks again! Always a great stay!

The property is beautiful and our multi generational family absolutely loved our time there. The only things I can think of that would make the house better would be to have stairs going from the top patio down to the backyard and having a thermostat on every floor (instead of just the top and bottom floors). However, I would not hesitate for a second with booking the property again.
Lastly, the main highlight for me was dealing with the host. She was extremely responsive and helpful whenever I contacted her directly. Thank you, Lisa!!

The house was great! Had enough room for the 11 of us and more could have stayed. Had a beach wagon, toys, chairs, etc. For the beach did not need to bring anything! The house is also in a great location, very close to Food Lion and all the different eating spots. Would definitely recommend! The owner was also amazing, text me food recommendations and checked on us, overall great experience!

We had a wonderful visit to the southern shores! It was our second trip there, this time we stayed in 2 houses next to one another so more families could be there. The short walk to the beach was simple. The backyard and pool provided fun and privacy when we needed to retreat from the busy road out front. King BEEch provided us the opportunity to have a much needed family reunion!

This was our second we’re booking this property for our family. We will no longer be looking for another property in our banks. This property has it all you need for a great summer beach vacation. From the hot tub to the sand volleyball court and a short walk to the beach, you can’t ask for a better property and location. Had a great family vacation at King Beech. Home was clean and comfortable for my husband and myself along with our 2 kids and thier spouses and 6 grandchildren. Weather was cilly for June so the pool was cold and kept the adults out but kids still enjoyed it.

This was by far one of the best rental properties we have ever had. The yard was probably the best part of the house as we had 8 children under the age of 8 and it was perfect for their needs as well as the parents. The kitchen was well stocked with 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers as well as plates/glasses/silverware/2 coffee pots and much more. The bedrooms were great each with its own tv. Living room had plenty of seating as well as a flat screen tv....plenty of seats for dining area....there was a renters closet with beach chairs/rafts/noodles/horseshoes. Plenty of parking area in front of house....short distance to beach with 2 public access routes (also beach parking pass). Easy access to stores/restaurants. As you can see we were very impressed. Thanks for a great stay.

The house was very neat and tidy and no maintenance calls were required. The pool and hot tub were checked during the week and cleaned to our satisfaction. The owner of the property called us during our stay - I thought that was a nice touch. The only problem we had was w/the rental company, Beach Realty. The property has passes for beach parking, however, we couldn't find these in the home. When we called the rental office, we were told by the agent that she would have to figure it out and call us back. She never bothered to call back and we never received parking permits. If this item was in the "too hard to do box," I'm glad we didn't need to phone in a really serious problem such as a maintenance call or lock-out.

The house checked all of our boxes! It was very spacious for our large family. The backyard was very nice and private. Proximity to the beach was great, but the sand and water at the beach were both pretty rough and when high tide came in the beach was too short to really enjoy - made having that private pool all that more important!

Had a pleasant week overall. Backyard was great for the adults, kids, and dogs. Kitchen/dining area very cramped for that size house. Rest of house was very comfortable. House and yard were fairly clean, but not spotless. Trash cans were all full....we had to move to street when we checked in. Being located right on Duck Rd was noisy and worrisome for the little ones and dogs. On our second evening there we were all playing volleyball in the backyard, and about 7:45 the police showed up saying there was a complaint of noise. We were stunned, as it is difficult to have a fun volleyball game with people playing and watching without some noise. Understandable if it had been late at night. All in all we enjoyed. House was well stocked with games, indoor and outdoor. The owner called to welcome us, that was extremely nice. We never heard from the realty/property mgmt company.

This house was perfect for our large multiple family vacation! Great to spend day at beach and hang poolside at night. Horshoes and volleyball are a plus! House was equipped with anything we needed. I do want to poin out that this area has a 10 pm noise curfew, we were unaware of that. One neighbor did say something one night but once we turned off the music, all was good!

This great home was perfect for your family. The back yard is fantastic. The baby gates were especially nice as we had a 15 month old and our dogs with us. We would definitely rent this house again The pool table could use some TLC, but that certainly is not a deal breaker. Thank you for a wonderful and memory filled vacation!!! Ideal
Our family of 17 (ages 65-1) stayed in Aug 2021 and it was absolutely wonderful. The location was great, we loved the pool, hot tub, volleyball area and kids playground. Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans. The only thing I disliked was the cleanliness of the property. I knew going in that you could bring pets (we chose not to) but there was a decent amount of dog hair throughout the house. I would suggest replacing the carpet in the near future as well. But overall it was a very wonderful experience and it did meet all of our needs and wants.

The owners left a very thoughtful welcome gift. They reached out the day of check in to say hello. They sent us an incredible list of activities/food options tailored to our desires. Our family of three generations, including an active 3yo, enjoyed this vacation home. The fenced yard provided a great space to exercise our two dogs and our grandchild loved the playground area. The house was clean, well-maintained, and well-stocked with games and movies. There are plenty of dishes, pots & pans, and glasses in the kitchen. All the appliances are top-of-the-line.

SO close to the beach. Great hot tub. Bring your dog too. Plenty of room and wifi and games and we were totally comfy. No issues with the property, W/D and all appliances in working condition, and kitchen well equipped. Grills outside too. SO MUCH FUN! Can't wait to come again!

This was our second time visiting the OBX but have rented homes several times. I have to say that this home was hands down the most well stocked and thoughtful rental we have stayed in. The layout of the home, the pool, hot tub, pool table, pool toys, dual refrigerators and dishwashers were all used. The house was extremely clean as well. The owner even called to welcome us on our first night. Overall, we were extremely pleased with the home. The only issue I had was with the mattress I slept on....but that's objective depending on what you're used to. Otherwise everything was perfect. The location was great as well. The only suggestion that would make King Beech even more perfect is a privacy fence separating this home from the identical one next door. We didn't care much for seeing or hearing the family next door or having their dog and our dog bark at one another repeatedly since they could see each other. That was easily fixable by making ours go inside, but that is no fault of the house nor the owners. I also appreciate King Beech allowing pets. We are responsible pet owners and want to make sure we do our part to keep pet friendly rentals available. Thank you to the owners for having such a perfect place and sharing it with us. Everything that could have been thought of, was.

the overall experience and easy check in and out are awesome. Although quality control when it came to the property was definitely lacking. The hot tub didn't work called to see if something could be done and was out on a work order where noine showed up the entire week and it was reported the first day. Going later in summer is risky with weather but having a hot tub was an essential so we were highly disappointed. Had a pet friendly home so you expect some things with that but we had to go to the store for carpet spray just to make the stair wells bearable to be in for linger than 3 seconds.... the back yard was riddled with dog poop....

We had an amazing time at King Beech. The house is very close to the beach, which made walking with kids manageable. The pool and volleyball court gave us other options for staying busy when we weren't oceanside. The house is lovely and we had plenty of space for everything. Two refrigerators and two dishwashers are a great bonus. We also love that the house has three king bedrooms and that every bedroom has an attached bathroom. Overall we had a very enjoyable experience.

overall, great place and wonderful location!
Cleanliness could be improved -- we found small pieces of food on 2 bedroom floors and the silverware needed to be re-washed before using. The couch in the living room needs replacing - one of the cushions had stuffing coming out the back.

Our family had a great time at King Beech. It was perfect for the age of our children ranging from 2 to 14. The pool hot tub volleyball court and the play yard swing set were perfect and well used. There were ample chairs around the pool which was very nice. The bedrooms were all nice and the beds were comfortable. The home was clean. I would say it could have used a little updating on the kitchen table chairs and the bar stools. They were a bit worn and very heavy to move around. But otherwise it was a comfortable home with lots of games and books for us to read if we so chose. The location was nice and walked to the beach wasn't very long.

Very functional house for a family of 12. Backyard was great with the volleyball court, horseshoe pit and playground.Hot tub was excellent. Experience in late May would have been improved a bit if pool were heated. House inside was very well provisioned. There was nothing that was needed that was not at hand. Everything was very functional and more than met our needs.
