'Oasis' was literary an Oasis in San Antao. The hotel lies in the middle of the town Paul, but has a nice garden which gives you peace and quiet. The host Marco is lovely! He speaks fluently English and helps you with anything you need; trails for hiking, arranging transport or reccomending restaurants. The rooms are very neat and have everything you need. The big balcony overlooking the garden have nice seats where you can relax! The breakfast is nice and abbondant. The price quality is just exceptional. We would 100% reccomend!

The staff, breakfast and rooms were all perfect. It's a wonderful place and location to relax and explore this side of the island.

A lovely spot, you should definitely go there if you come to Santo Antao. Breakfast was abondant and delicious, with fresh juice, bananas, and a tasty cake. The garden is beautiful, you can see that it they take good care of the plants and flowers. Marco was more than helpful, he knows everything about the island and it was a pleasure to have him guide me and show me the most beautiful spots of Santo Antao, I felt like hanging out with a good hearted friend. Bonus: there's a nice italian restaurant doing delicious pizza just in front of the hotel, with a very friendly italian pizzaiolo you want to meet! Just go there, you won't regret it, h ope to go back for myself asap. Thanks for the (even if short) lovely stay!

This was our first stay on Santo Antao and Marco, who works at the front desk, helped us a ton with logistics and planning and answered our 1 million questions about Cape Verde/Santo Antao. He was super friendly and made us feel at home immediately! The breakfast here was also delicious, the rooms were spacious/clean/bright. A couple restaurants in the vicinity (including Casa Marajuca, which was recommended by a lot of websites and was great). The B&B is right by the ocean but our room had a lovely view of the central garden - we were woken by birds, greenery, and sunlight!

Oasis Paul is an amazing location with fabulous people who do everything they can to provide a fantastic experience. It is a haven. The garden is an idyllic hideaway and it would be easy to miss from the main road but that's part of its charm. If you're visiting Cape Verde, you must come to Santo Antao and you MUST visit Oasis in Paul. Thank you Marco and your family for a great adventure.

It was an exceptional experience to stay at Oasis Paul Residencial. Marco and Maria take the greatest care of their guests and helped me wherever possible. It is a real oasis with a beautiful botanical garden that you will find nowhere else on the island and with a view over the mountains. I was even offered fresh garden tea from the house! From the B&B you are just one street removed from the sea and you can easily discover the valleys of e.g. Paùl and Ribeira Grande. The rooftop terrace will offer you a 360° view over the surrounding area. I would hence highly recommend staying here.

We really enjoyed our stay and were made to feel extremely welcome. The staff were lovely, the room was very clean, and the environment was peaceful and enjoyable.

I liked the friendly family the most, what a lovely people! The room is also very nice, the view on the garden is great and we got a decent breakfast. Would really recommend this place if you stay in Paul.

Amazing views from the balcony of our room, the breakfast very tasty and complete. The girls running the hostel is very helpful and always smiling and willing to help with anything she can. I would definitely come back here!

This place is really an Oasis! It is very calm and relaxing and the view from the balcony is just beautiful! The room was very clean and also the WiFi was very good, which was important for me because I had to do some work. The two ladies working there were very friendly and extremely helpful! I wish I could have stayed longer, even though I have already extended my stay for one extra day. Breakfast was nice too.

I appreciated the warm welcome and the helpfulness of the staff. The room was spacious, very comfortable and clean with a large balcony and a view on the garden. Within minutes from the hotel's location, one can find restaurants, grocery shops, atms and more. A perfect place to spend a few days in Paul or as a base to hike the surrounding area.
