Our planned arrival time changed several times, including on the day of arrival. David was really very responsive and, well, forgiving. The location is especially good for anyone who wants a place near the airport for a next-day departure, while MUCH nicer and quieter than a typical airport hotel.

Great location, clean and large house. Comfortable beds. Good air-conditioning. All amenities present. David was a great host and super helpful.

We have stayed here recent in Christmas and with my mothers birthday in February we had no hesitation in contacting David to see if there was availability. This property is so close to Collins Avenue with cafes within a couple of minutes. It is in the lovely suburb of Edge Hill and central to almost everything you need. The feel of the property is a home away from home (with a huge lounge). It is just a hidden gem in a lovely suburb with awesome hosts.

the property we stayed was perfect and everything was provided for you include computer with WI-FI. Bread, milk and coffee. and it was a close walk to the cafes and restaurants. Evan a BBQ was provided.

The location of the property was fantastic and as a Cairns local who has moved away it was lovely to come back and be just minutes from so many things. The owners were exceptional in the dealings with us as to their agent.
The property had very comfortable bedding, a huge lounge area and a dining table well and truely ample enough for our family (plus visitors). The kitchen was very well equipped and had counter space galore. All in all we really enjoyed the stay.

Only downside Woodward road is very busy in the morning lots of road noise.

David is a fantastic host, he made our stay effortless and wonderful. David worked around our odd flight times, allowing our check in and check out to run perfectly smoothly. The house met all our standards and is perfect for a family. We would love to stay there again when in Cairns.

The building was old but clean and very clean.
I had all the cooking utensils and I didn't have any problems.

Loved the spacious house, location was better than expected as it was close to everything we needed just a quick drive away, David was professional and accommodating.

It was very spacious, washing machine and dryer extremely handy, kitchen very well equipped and David was so helpful. Couldn’t have asked for anything else.

David was very friendly and accommodating greeting us when we arrived with milk and bread. He also asked what we liked to drink and popped back with a lovely bottle of wine. The shower head is amazing and plenty of hot water to accommodate all of us which with 3 teenage girls is an accomplishment. The lounge was very comfortable with Netflix on the television for those quiet nights. An all round great property and would definitely stay again.
Woodward street was a bit noisy with traffic from early in the morning but as we are early risers it wasn’t too much of a problem.

The host is very friendly and helpful. He waited for our arrival as promised, kept communicating with me by text messages, very clear instructions on how to drive to the property, and good introduction to the facilities. A lot of things such as cooking utensils, a loaf of bread, jam, milk, etc. are provided for an easy stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. Absolutely loved it!
