We loved staying here with our two children. It was easy to communicate with Annerös and Daniel and very cool to see the animals. Beautiful home with an awesome view over grindelwald. The bus stop was so close and we were even able to ski down to the terminal ski lift front the house. We would love to stay longer!

December is very cold for us, but the view is fabulous. The flat is nice and clean, but a bit small for family of 5.

Hosts were great, they were available if you needed anything. The view was spectacular and the drive to nearby areas of interest were within reasonable distance. The apartment was perfect with all the accommodations necessary for our stay. Would definitely recommend and will keep it on the list for return visits.

It was lovely to stay outside of town but with very easy access by local bus. The local stop is 40m from the front door and very reliable. The hosts are very friendly and we loved the cheese, jam and eggs gift upon arrival. The setting is beautiful at the bottom of the Eiger with views across the valley. The chalet was warm & inviting. Loved the cat!

We enjoyed our stay in Grindelwald. As with most roads in Switzerland, it is a bit windy to reach the place, but totally worth it. The family was super friendly and we loved being part of the Swiss atmosphere with mountains, goats and cowbells for a few days. The place was clean and had everything we needed.

The flat is very well equipped, comfortable, clean and the view from the balcony is stunning. We spent every evening of our stay sat on the balcony, listening to the chirping of the crickets, tinkling of (goat) bells, and even being serenaded by the family (who are very talented and musical) while they were practicing. The location of the property was very easy to find, and it is well placed for visiting lots of local attractions (First, Mannlichen etc), and the bus/train links are very good for visiting places further afield. We have already booked again for next year and are very much looking forward to it already. We really will try and learn some more German for next time around :)

Property is clean and updated . It is a little tricky to drive to but easier with a GPS. There is a bus stop right outside the property. Owner left us with a welcome basket with fresh eggs, homemade jam and a large vacuumed package of their cheese. The owners live upstairs but they don’t disturb you.

Wonderful location in Grindelwald. Our family of 3 was very comfortable for 8 nights. Switzerland is breathtaking, and the views from this balcony are amazing! Bed was comfortable. We enjoyed our stay very much!

Property had everything you need. It is Very well appointed with modern cooking appliances. We were picked up at the station and driven to the property. The property is modern, built is the Swiss style. It has Breath taking views across Grindelwald and situated under the Eiger. Also we were given some cheese and jam, which they produce on their farm. Bus is only a very short walk 70 metres. The Bus takes you into Grindelwald in10 minutes. Then easy walk to train station. Local bus transport is free. Even thought Daniel and his family live upstairs, we had own space and plenty of privacy. We would recommend this property to stay at and would love to come back. It was very hard to leave.

This is the perfect place for people who do not like a touristy cliche. It is out of the way and you need to take the bus (which conveniently stops just meters away) or drive to get into town but that is what makes it so nice. You can do what all the other tourists are doing but then retreat to a mountain oasis in the evening. The apartment was well out-fitted if you want to cook for yourself. There is in-floor heating which nicely takes the chill out without forced air which can dry you out. This is a working dairy so respect the goats and cows that may be there depending on the time of year that you visit. (In the summer they are high up in the Alps and not down in the valley). I would definitely recommend both Grindelwald and this apartment to people.

Très beau logement, moderne et très propre. Très bien équipé pour cuisiner ! Le logement est dans le chalet des proprios avec accès commun sur un balcon où l’on peut prendre l’apéro en admirant la beauté du paysage.....féerique! La vue sur Grindelwald et les montagnes est sublime! Tranquille avec le tintement des clochettes de chèvres et vaches tout autour....il n’ y a pas plus Suisse que ce site! Les proprios sont gentils et discrets, nous accueille avec un de leur fromage. Nous conseillons fortement ce logement! Tranquilité et beauté du site!Bon système de bus pour ceux qui ne sont pas en voiture.Seul point a noter, la machine à laver et sécheuse se situent dans le sous-sol des proprios donc plus difficiles pour la liberté de faire notre lavage: nous devons voir avec les propriétaires.Mais ce n’est vraiment pas un gros problème.....A recommander sans hésitation!

We found this location to be very central, close to hiking and near enough to town, but yet far enough away. It was very clean and confortable. Bus is just outside the door and free for visitors and we used it the whole week and left the car parked. Would definitely recommend staying here.

The place was beautiful .. the view the house the farm the people the family the cows .. the family that lived next door let our kids help with feeding the cows and goats Evey night .. they were amazing would of kids and us .. we also had a baby cow born the day we showed up the kids got to feed them with a bottle. .. the grandmother picked us up from the train station brought us to the food store on our way to the house. We would give this place a 10 star if I could. Love love loved it so much wish we could move there....
