Nice finca with small swimmingpool. Good equiped kitchen en nice garden with different places to sit.

The dogs on the finca and around the finca were barking and screaming the whole time. So if you want to have some peace and quiet, don't go to this finca. The rooms were very noisy too, could hear what the people in the next door room were doing/saying. We had a 6 night stay, never ever was the room cleaned or did we get clean towels. Apparantly we didn't get the 'code', to put the towels outside the room for clean towels. There was 1 dog near the gate (luckily on a leash) that was so sad, we were warned not to come close, but that meant that you always had to leave by car. That dog has a terrible life with pain 😥 that's why he/she is the way he/she is. All in all, we wouldn't stay here again 😕

Very quiet place. We enjoyed our holiday here. I positively evaluate the well-developed kitchen.

We knew that the Finca El Cortijo lies only a few kilometers from the truly massive, very famous international holiday/vacation centers of south Tenerife, and we were delighted to find that to a large extent the Finca El Cortijo has retained its own style and ambiance. Indeed, we found it to be a world apart from the hotels on the coast. The landscape is not dominated by hotels and holiday flats but by agricultural enterprises, and the focal point is not Playa de las Américas, but the town of San Miguel de Abona. Breakfast is served in the kitchen; and at present here are just three guest rooms. We were delighted with the personal style and feel, the garden, the pool and the views. Our room was modern, good-sized, and complete: full bathroom, air-condictioner, plenty of towels, nice linen, bed tables, lamps and lots of storage -- drawers, closets, cabinet, clotheshangers. Breakfast was straightforward and complete: fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs, fresh juice, ham . . . We were pleased to have access to the kitchen and, notably the refrigerator. Salt, pepper and the like were available. We did not mind at all opening and closing the entrance gate and being self-reliant in other respects.

Guests should be aware that a car is likely to be indispensable as there are virtually no services nearby. A significant exception is the excellent fish restaurant "El Rinconcito de Hilario" (Calle El Pilon, 86, San Miguel de Abona). However, it's a steep 900-meter climb from the restaurant back to the Finca.

The rooms were cozy and the bed was very comfortable

The shower was VERY small! Tall / big people will have a serious problem..... The surrounding of the Finca is a bit “sad”, but in 10 minutes (by car) you can reach the beach

Beautiful building and pool area. Breakfast was great. Loved the cats. Safe place to park the car. Very friendly host. Convenient kitchen area.

The location is a little isolated.
