Although this property is advertised as being on a farm, there is no mention of the incredibly poor smell within the entire dwelling. I am very familiar with farms, as they are in our family, but the dwelling never smelled as bad as the barn, and this property does. I feel like the description of the property misrepresents this very important variable. The internal furnishings and functionality appear intact, and although worn, all those things don’t matter in comparison to the horrible smell within the home. Between the puppies, bunnies, chickens, goats, guineas, and geese, there was constant entertainment. We were within 20 minutes of hiking parks, the Lazy 5 Ranch and grocery stores. It was a wonderful weekend.

This place is awesome to stay at! We stayed 3 nights and let's just say it wasn't long enough! Nadine and her crew are amazing hostess! My kids loved the animals so so much! Definitely will be staying here again when we come back to Charlotte! It's so close to everything yet u get the country farm feel! My husband and I plan to move out there in a couple years because it's just so quiet and people are soo friendly! If I could change anything it would just be new bedding on the beds as it was a bit itchy. This place is amazing to take ur kids to especially the younger ones bc u get to pet all the farm animals

We rented this house to be able to attend our granddaughters graduation. This house was exactly what we needed for our party of six. It was as listed and pictured. Nadine greeted us when we arrived and was accessible if we had any problems which we didn’t. My grandchildren loved being around and petting the animals. Overall it was a great vacation and this house met all our needs.

We stayed two nights and would definitely recommend. Great customer service, large home with plenty of space and fun farm critters.

Upon arrival a friend of mine thought she had seen a pig in the back yard lol. Instead when we investigated we realized there was a farm in the back yard. There were sheep, chickens, ducks, dogs, and other things. The house was great. It could have been a little cleaner. There was food in the silverware holder thing. Bedrooms were nice and the bathroom was beautiful. The owners were really sweet and nice. We didn’t realize they lived in the basement of the house though. The dogs barked all hours in the night. The rooster will definitely wake you up at 6am lol. The carport fills with hundreds of flies due to trash cans being right by it and farm in back yard. I do think though the owners might want to specify about them living in the basement and about having a farm in backyard. Other than that the house was great and I would definitely stay here again.

Nadine was great to work with good communication. Was a good experience. Only thing was the WiFi kept cutting out, which is tough with a wifi only tv. Other than that- great place!

The house was perfect for a quick trip. I would have liked to known that there was a farm with animals in the back yard. The rooster woke us up at 4am. Overall it was a great trip.

The owner and housekeeping ( I say housekeeping, because she was still at the house when we arrived at 4:45, 45 minutes passed check-in of 4:00pm) were both very friendly. I was in town for a funeral with 87 year old mother and 85 year old aunt. I had been researching 4 bedroom houses near the funeral home. I chose this location because it was the closest 4 bedroom unit to the funeral home. After booking the unit I requested an early check-in because we wanted to arrive early enough to get some rest before the funeral. I was informed that we could have this early check-in at 11am, but by the time this was confirmed we had already made plans to arrive at the regular check in time. I had been driving for 12 hours and exhausted when we arrived. To my surprise there was a truck parked in the driveway which turned out to be housekeeping. She informed us that she had received notification late about our reservation. Very gracious and kind she hurried to move her vehicle. I immediately reached out to owner to inform her of this security issue, and that the house was 3 bedrooms 1 1/2 bathroom instead of the 4 bedrooms 3 1/2 bathrooms listed in the advertisements. She said she didn’t realize it and made the change on the website immediately, but not before I took the screen shot. She had housekeeping leave extra bedding for the couch but it was not a pullout couch (recliners on both ends) and extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. After further inspection the house was not clean: soap scum on shower door, rings in the toilets, sponges for dishes were old and smelled of mildew, ice maker in the refrigerator didn’t work, food on dishes in the cabinets and the towels may have been washed but we’re very dingy and had a mildew odor. When this house is cleaned properly, it would be a good location for a three bedroom 1 1/2 bathroom but it was listed as 4 bedroom 3 1/2 bathroom which is what I needed. My concerns were heard. But this was difficult during our time of bereavement.

We loved the home. There were four adults and 3 children at the house. Manager was very responsive to our needs. The yard was clean and safe for the children to play and run on the area.

Overall the property was very nice for our stay.

Such an awesome place. every room was large and clean. My mother and cousin both with walkers were able to move around with ease. And if its not to cold to go outside at night you can hear the churches Christmas music. Nadine and her husband were awesome, They helped us with every question we had. I cant wait to go back.

Nadine answered all of my questions promptly throughout the stay. We loved this house and would stay here again!

Our family of 5 (and dog) had a great experience. The location was perfect for our needs (bike races in Davidson and Salisbury), the house clean and exactly as described, and Nadine very helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Nadine was so amazing and compassionate as we had to evacuate for the hurricane. She was beyond accommodating and her home instantly felt welcoming from the moment we walked in the door. It was in proximity of gas stations and convenience stores, which made it very easy to get any necessities. The property is expansive and peaceful. The layout of the home is open and very conducive to relaxing and spending time with each other, while the bedrooms are large and private. It is not far from Charlotte which can allow for more entertainment and dining options and is also close by to favorites like Target and Walmart. Would definitely stay again if in the area! Thank you for everything!

Overall, the property was very spacious and accommodating. Unfortunately, our first night there, the central air conditioning went out. The owner was notified and quickly brought over fans but the unit was never fixed over the period of time we were there. Perhaps the reason was that it was Memorial Day holiday weekend but nevertheless it was uncomfortably hot in the house day and night. With that being said, a guarantee that the AC unit would be up and running during any future visits, I would surely rent this home again.

Great house, super clean, modern, great space for families, pet friendly, safe. Excellent. Loved it

Renting was easy but no a/c. And 3 little fans won't do it, but the renter thought they should.
