Our stay at ‘Eagle View’ was wonderful, a peaceful getaway! The suite is clean, cosy, bright, well equipped and has an amazing view. We appreciated the kindness from Coral and John who were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome and giving us useful information about the area. We were also treated to several tasty treats during our stay. We will return.

Phenomenal

We cannot fault Corals amazing property, and from beginning to end, everything far surpassed our expectations. The superb location, and therefore the views, are even better than described - we loved watching the daily activities of the 17 resident Eagles, and the comings and goings of the many seals and fishing boats. Once inside the so comfortable (the bed is really great too), very clean and extremely well equipped suite you immediately feel completely 'at home'. Coral has thought of everything, the kitchen and bathroom are really well equiped, (one of the best we've ever stayed in); but she also goes the extra mile and supplies many great quality extras, plus the welcoming treats when you arrive help make everything even more special. Communication with Coral (from booking onwards) was excellent and as hosts Coral and John are 5*. Throughout our stay they were always extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. They even delivered further treats such as freshly home made salmon pate and crackers - delicious; and as we had such wonderful weather for February in BC, supplied us with two chairs for a Valentine's Day picnic on the beach. We had a fantastic holiday, definitely hope to return, and would not hesitate to recommend this property to all our friends and family.

The view is magnificent, the suite has everything you’d want, and the hosts are friendly, welcoming and thoughtful. We’ll be back.

A beautiful and peaceful location. The sunrise and sunset are amazing. The property is kept to a very high standard and had everything we needed with a lovely decking outside. Coral and John are great hosts and we would highly recommend this property. Thanks for a wonderful week!

Staying at Coral and John’s was the most amazing experience. We had a very warm welcome and thoughtful treats waiting for us! The online photos don’t do the view justice. We loved morning coffee and an evening drink on the deck to take in the ocean scenery and watch the eagles on the property. Stairs down to the water front was fun! The suite is fully equipped with everything you could possibly need and was absolutely spotless when we checked in. The location was a perfect jumping off spot to all the attractions in the area and it’s absolutely peaceful and quiet. Thank you so much Coral! We sure hope to be back soon!

'Eagle View' was a wonderful, well-equipped, comfortable suite with an incredible view of the ocean! It was so easy to access the water down a private set of stairs. Coral and John were very helpful with local knowledge and making us feel welcome. Just an amazing, relaxing escape from our regular life!! Definitely recommend this treasured VRBO!

Everything about this property is excellent. The owners are very nice and they really have thought of everything to ensure this suite is comfortable and well-equipped. Add that to the natural beauty and wildlife that are right outside the window and you couldn’t ask for much more.

The difference between a good holiday and a great holiday is the accommodation.; and this was a great holiday. I can’t say enough good about this spot. It was spotless , perfect sized for two, all comforts of home, cupboards were stocked with just the right kind of basics. Enjoyed coffee and happy hour on a great deck overlooking the water - with super views. We were greeted with a bottle of wine and fresh fruit to top it all off. The Host and hostess were “premier” and had great tips on things to do and places to see. Wonderful 😀 (One heads -up - there are stairs to climb to get into the suit so it might be a bit challenging for someone who has difficulty getting up and down a flight of stairs. )

Staying at Coral and John's suite has been truly memorable as the space is extremely comfortable, bright and spotless with a fully stocked kitchen; all over a perfectly peaceful environment to forget about the rest of the world. The panoramic views on the garden and the ocean are truly unique and the eagles guard the property with a higher vision! Coral & John are the perfect hosts. They truly know what a vacation rental should be. The breath taking front row seat to nature and wildlife is spectacular. We saw eagles perched in nearby trees almost daily. The apartment itself is well appointed and cozy - perfect for a couple. The cupboards are well stocked with dishes and even a good arrays of spices and condiments. The host had provided a fruit basket and soft drinks for our arrival as well as a bottle of wine. A nice touch. We would definitely stay there again.

This location was fabulous, kitchen well appointed with everything you may need, including food storage containers and serving dishes. This property is a real gem. It is sparkling clean, quiet and loaded with little extra touches. The kitchen is probably the best equipped of any rental we have ever been in. The host and hostess are extremely friendly and the view is absolutely spectacular. We saw eagles, seals, sea lions, otters and all sorts of sea birds on a daily basis, just by looking out the window. The neighbourhood is very quiet, I don't thing we even saw another car and there are plenty of sights within a short drive. We would highly recommend this rental and we will be back.

From the minute we entered our rental we knew we had picked one fantastic property. We were greeted by our host, Coral, who was so personable as she showed us around. First, the view was unbelievably beautiful from our own patio which led down to an astonishing beach. Then we went on to our spacious upstairs apartment that had a view from every window. The apartment had a great layout and had everything we needed for our stay. It was so very comfortable. Great linens, dreamy bed, and a kitchen that was well appointed. Honestly I think this was our top rental since we have begun traveling. Coral and her husband John gave us a lot of great information about the area.

Beautiful property and scenery. Is a great hostess. Helped me with all my electronic jilts . Condo has stairs and she helped bring my items up . En joyed the chit-chats , fresh picked fruit and delicious salmon spread. Would not hesitate to recommend this property. Thanks Coral

This cozy suite for two is amazing, with unbelievable ocean views and beautiful, manicured gardens. Very well appointed and immaculate. The hosts were very friendly, most welcoming and provided information for some great places to check out. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to a longer return visit. It just doesn’t get any better! Truly 5 star accommodation!

A fantastic home away from home for a couple or single. The suite is well-equipped, comfortable, and with the best view in town. This was our second stay here and we loved the wildlife, the location and our wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

It was such a pleasure staying at Eagle View Guest Suite! This property is beautiful and inviting, perfect for two people. The suite is very quiet, spacious, comfortably furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and cookware, making it possible to prepare the fresh fish you can buy at the French Creek Marina. There are amazing ocean views from all the windows and guests have access to a lovely patio. Coral and John are wonderful hosts: friendly, helpful and prompt in their response to all enquiries. This is a wonderful vacation rental and we will definitely be back!

The place was perfect for a weekend getaway. Wonderful views, tons of wildlife and a great patio to sit outside. The suite was comfy and quiet with great views. Fish market close by allowed for tasty bc cuisine. Can’t wait to visit again for sure. Coral and John were great hosts with tips to help us make the most of our time there.

Loved this suite situate above a garage (stairs) near French Creek . Very very comfy with lots of little extras from Coral and John including a bottle of wine and fruit. Well stocked basic pantry for spices. Had a little deck all to ourselves and the eagles and seals made themselves available for viewing. Would highly recommend unless you have mobility issues then the stairs and possibly the huge soaker tub may be a slight problem , not that I did not love having a tub. Thanks again Coral and John

We had a lovely one week stay at this property. It is actually much, much better than the photos and description! The views are spectacular and the unit is immaculate, well-designed and extremely well provisioned. We arrived late afternoon and Coral welcomed us with fresh fruit, homemade cookies and a bottle of wine. Frig had creamer, water and sodas. There was coffee, tea, olive oil and all the basics for preparing meals, along with anything you need for cooking. The deck has 180 degree views of the water--really wonderful. There is also a private patio with a gas grill for your use. John and Coral were great hosts and will ensure you have anything you need. They were helpful with restaurant recommendations as well as advising us to take a ferry from Mill Bay to Brentwood Bay (by Butchart Gardens) to avoid a couple hours of driving. They know the island well and are a great resource! They also very kindly shared some local chanterelle mushrooms that they picked over the weekend--they were delicious! This is the nicest VRBO unit we have stayed in---I would not hesitate to recommend.
