Rustic Mountain Lakefront Cottage
Entfliehen Sie dem Alltag in unserem rustikalen Bergsee-Cottage am Pine Island Circle. Geräumiges, bewaldetes und sehr privates Grundstück, Landschaftsgestaltung, lange runde Einfahrt, ideal für viele Parkplätze und Steinwege vom Haus zum Wasser und ein großes Bootssteg. Großes Bootssteg für Liegestühle, Binden von drei bis vier Booten (mit Steckdose zum Aufladen der Batterien) oder Angeln von beiden Seiten des Bootshauses. Toller Angelplatz auf Pine Island, wo viele Angelturniere gewonnen wurden!

Große Holzterrasse mit eingebauten Sitzgelegenheiten und 15 Fuß langen Picknicktisch. Angrenzende Terrasse mit Holzkohlegrill, Picknicktisch und überdachter Schaukel. Wir befinden uns im Zentrum einer ruhigen Bucht, die sich in den Hauptkanal des Guntersville Lake öffnet. Der nahe gelegene öffentliche Startplatz befindet sich auf beiden Seiten des 3 km entfernten Grundstücks, einschließlich Waterfront Grocery, und 3 km auf der Straße. Wir befinden uns am Highway 79 zwischen Guntersville und Scottsboro.

Beautiful views, easy access to lake and shopping, quiet and peaceful. Perfect for a quiet weekend.

Lot was beautiful with many trees so that there was plenty of shade on the patio. Loved seeing an Eagle, heron, and other birds during the stay. Home was rustic but clean. Enjoyed my time there.

I've stayed a lot of places in this area never anywhere that was so comfortable and felt so much like home. its not fancy so if that's what your looking for look on but if you want a private get away to fish off the pier and just hang out grill and have a fire in the fire pit at night then you found it I didn't want to leave and booked an extra night it was well lite at night all around the house and so quite we never saw another soul close enough if you want to get out but far enough away you don't know it. would like some lighting on the pier to night fish but other than that I can not think of one negative thing to say this will be my go to from now on if it's available and for the price no way you will beat it I thank them so much for sharing this with every one and caught tons of fish right off the pier. I will be back for sure as soon as I can

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay at the Rustic Mountain Lakefront Cottage.The location was perfect and we had an awesome view from inside of the cottage and the outside. Very clean and down home. Loved the decorations. The only thing I did not like was that we couldn't stay longer.
The Bishop's were real nice and friendly. If i had a question or couldn't figure something out they were quick to respond and willing to help.
I would definitely recommend staying here. We will be renting from the Bishop's in the future.

This property is run down. Although the owner refunded what she could vrbo still hasn't refunded their portion.

This place was very spacious and close to everything fishing you could dream of. Make sure to bring your own groceries as dollar store has most of what you need but the nearest Walmart or grocery store is a little out of the way. Perfect for any fisherman.

The veiw of the water was beautiful. The cabin was secluded amd so cozy. Everthing you needed. Boat ramp great for fishing. This cabin was perfect. The host was great. Thanks joyce for making our stay so great. Hope to come again.

Everything's was just as advertised. We enjoyed the rustic cabin and all it's character! It is an older home with some repairs needed but we overlooked that and had a good time. We would recommend and will plan to come back in the future.

We ran into several issues. Key code did not work and house had dirty linen from previous guest left due to housekeeping was unavailable. We only stayed one night of the two rented. The owner was responsive and refunded the cleaning fee. I understand things happen. We booked another accommodation in Huntsville for the last night due to the condition of the house.

Let me first say- our stay was great. This property is a perfect budget friendly getaway option to Lake Guntersville. it’s located about 10- 15 min drive from downtown. That said, this property isn’t a 5 star resort. Just make sure to set your expectations accordingly, It’s an older home, older appliances, furniture, etc. I hope you have the opportunity to enjoy this property, as much as we did.
The really good- relatively quiet, big yard for kids to play, private boat house area to fish, big back deck area for eating outside. It was decorated for Christmas, straightforward check in and check out process.
The not so great- Fireplace doesn’t work.

My first impression was that the place needed a total renovation but once we got settled inside we found a pleasant and cozy home. It could use some updates, but the overall quality of the area and property was well worth the price we paid. Great view and weather which gave us some bald eagle viewings and nice walks.

Check in was perfect the home was lovely definitely recommend if your looking for a cute and peaceful setting the cleanliness of the home was top notch

Clean and comfortable! Dock with power for boat batteries. Older Lake House but comfortable/adequate! Roomy driveway. My 2nd stay here and will rent again on my next trip to Lake Guntersville!

Quiet, peaceful and secluded from neighboring homes with lots of trees. Caught a couple large mouth bass right off the boathouse dock.

This place is older than we expected and in need of some TLC. The dock is in disrepair and probably not super safe to hang out on. There's a sunken boat in the boat house and a jetski ready to fall into the lake bolted to the dock. We loved the place though. We watched the heron, a hawk, crazy birds and loved the outdoor space. The neighborhood is wooded and was quiet most of the time. There was one night where a neighbor had a REALLY loud party till almost 2 am and the place next door has a pump or something running 24/7 and it kept us awake with some really loud, strange noises. We thought it was a critter the first night. These are absolutely not the owner's fault though. I would recommend this place to friends.

Stayed last year. Right on the Lake with a boat dock. Large outdoor area. Patio with firepit. Made use of the hammock. House is a little dated but totally functional. We enjoyed our stay again and our friends loved it too.

Great Area. Property is old which is fine but i wanted to get a pressure washer fired up whole time i was there. No reason not to clean the grounds up. Would look so much better.
Lake is awesome, property within 20 minutes from anything you would need.
You can drive boat to Big Mikes Steak House or Widtzell's.

Nice little house on the lake! Pet friendly, which is always a must for us! Quiet and secluded and quaint! It is an older house and is nothing fancy…but neither are we!😉

We so enjoyed our second time at this lake front home. The house is older but cozy with plenty of space to spread out. The outside area is spacious and there are wonderful gravity chairs on the deck as well as a fire pit and grill with seating and a swing on the patio. It is a perfect quiet getaway for a couple or a family to enjoy! The host is quick to respond if you have any questions. However, we had no problems at all. We will be returning again for our third visit! Thank you again for sharing your lovely home!

We enjoyed our stay. The property is quite old as listed. Everything was clean though. Spent the entire day fishing and reading. If you want a good spot to relax with a fantastic view and don’t need the modern home, this is a good one to book.

We had a great time and the Cabin was perfect for us. Right on the lake in a calm cove with a dock to tie the boat up. Sattelite TV and TV's in both bedrooms with good WIFI. Great view of the lake from the Living Room/Dining Room.
