Dieses Haus ist ein geräumiges, sonniges, romantisches, modernes Haus in der beliebten Gemeinde Island Grove in MV. Unser Haus verfügt über große Wrap-around-Deck mit in Sitz auf einem bewaldeten gebaut, landschaftlich 1/2 qm großen Grundstück mit zwei Etagen, zahlreiche große abgeschirmten Fenstern und einem natürlich kühlen Keller. Haus hat Esszimmer und große Wohnzimmer mit Kamin, Deckenventilator, schöne Eichenböden, handsome übergroßen Sofas und WiFi. Die moderne Küche enthält neue Spüle, Wasserhahn, Herd, Mikrowelle / Abluftventilator, Waschmaschine und Trockner. Die Zimmer sind geräumig und schön mit schönen Bettdecken eingerichtet und bei Bedarf gekühlt mit Deckenventilatoren. Zwei sehr geräumige Master-Schlafzimmer mit Kingsize-Betten, ein im 1. Stock (mit eigenem Bad und Deck) und einen im 2. Stock mit Dachschrägen und TV; zwei weitere Schlafzimmer mit jeweils zwei Einzelbetten. Jedes Zimmer verfügt über einen Schrank; Master verfügt über einen begehbaren Kleiderschrank ebenso wie eine blaue Schlafzimmer mit Zwillingen. Beide Bäder haben zwei Waschbecken. Super sauber Keller / Aufenthaltsraum mit Trainingsgeräten, Tischtennis und TV / VCR. Zwei Tennisplätze im Freien sind über 200 Meter hinter dem Haus in der waldreichen Umgebung .. Der Vordereingang der Insel Grove verlieren Sie in Edgartown Dorf (Entfernung von 2 Meilen), während der Hintereingang werden Sie auf die South Beach zu nehmen (Entfernung von 3 Meilen). Nur 5 Minuten mit dem Rad zu Morning Glory Farm. Der Great Edgartown Lake ist nur 1,6 km entfernt und der Barrier Beach in der Nähe von South Beach ist mit dem Kajak / Kanu erreichbar. Installierte moderne neue kanallose Wärmepumpenanlage für die Saison 2019, die Klimaanlage oder Wärme lieferte und Herd, Kühlschrank, kombinierte Feuer- / Kohlenmonoxid-Einheiten und die meisten Matratzen im Jahr 2018 ersetzte.

We recently had a nice week long vacation at this home.
Location can't be beat. Close to both Downtown Edgartown and South Beach. Home is located in a wonderful , very quiet neighborhood. House is very private.
John was very easy to communicate with.

Just returned from a wonderful week on MV. The home was immaculate and accommodating for our party of 8 (4 adults, 4 kids, 1 dog). The property is secluded and safe and well situated on the island. The kitchen, bedrooms, baths and playrooms are well stocked, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Appliances are new, bathrooms and kitchen recently updated and the home offers plenty of places to gather inside and out. Bikes and beach necessities were available and ready for use. No question that our hosts, John and Kathy, love their home and like to share it! No question, either, that we hope to return to 8 Night Heron next summer.

Our family of 10 had a wonderful stay at this lovely vacation home. It's in a quiet, private location but is also close to towns and beaches. The house was immaculate, spacious and equipped with every we needed. The kitchen was very nice with newer appliances, plenty of dishes, glassware and cookware. Also appreciated the empty cabinet space to put away our food. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The owners also supplied linens, towels and beach towels. The livingroom was also large with a big screen TV, fireplace and plenty of seating. The basement was great for the kids with a ping-pong table, TV, movies, games and toys. Outside is a beautiful spacious deck with comfortable seating, 2 outdoor showers and a beautifully landscaped yard for the kids to play. We were also told we could use the bikes, boogie boards, beach chairs and toys that were in the garage. John and Kathy were the perfect hosts and were very easy to contact. This was the perfect vacation home for my family. We are looking forward to returning next year!

This Rental Property was very Tranquil and Peaceful, only hearing birds chirping, and Natural ambience. The location was great, everything we needed was close to us. This was the Perfect Family getaway. Can’t wait to return!!

Great home with tons of amenities for families! John, the owner was great and very accommodating. House is very clean and the four bedrooms made for a spacious stay. Great outdoor space and comfy lounge chairs to relax and eat dinner outside. The house also has two outdoor showers which was very helpful after a day at the beach. We would rent again. Thank you!

Great hosts and an awesome location
We had a great stay at this property with our family. John was really responsive and easy to communicate with, and the house was clean and spacious. They had lots of bikes and kids toys and gear for us to use. There were a fair amount of ants in the house, however it was apparent that they put a lot of effort into keeping the house clean and it seems like the ants may have been in there as a result of the neighbor's construction. The location was amazing, and John gave us so many great recommendations for local places to check out, and also helped us out with ferry bookings.

Location is great with nice yard and deck and new grill and outdoor shower. Well equipped home including bikes, games, towels, kitchen equipment.
New a/c may need better regulation for both floors and house is a bit dark as it is in wooded location.

Wonderful Family Home
John and Kathy were the ultimate hosts Who went above and beyond to make our vacation happen. Their home is in a wonderful safe and quiet location. We loved having use of not one, but two outdoor showers, and a lovely back and side patio to enjoy meals outside. There is plenty of common space, use of the grill, and all of the kitchen equipment made meal prep so easy. Also, the generously-sized bedrooms allowed for everyone to get a great night’s sleep after a full day at the beach - this was important! We highly recommend a stay at this lovely Edgartown home!

Great house in a cute neighborhood
My family (7 adults and 4 kids) spent a week here and loved it. The house is comfortable, clean, and in a great location. The neighborhood is quiet and the streets don't get much traffic, so it was great for running, walking, and biking with the kiddos. The back porch area is a little oasis, we spent a lot of time back there! The basement is also a great addition with ping-pong and lots of games for the kids to entertain themselves. John was very helpful and responsive to our requests. Would definitely recommend!

Lovely Vineyard home.
We enjoyed our stay in Edgartown. The home was plenty roomy and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the cool evening time spent on the back deck. The property is within walking distance to Morning Glory Farm and a quick drive to south beach and Edgartown. John was very accommodating. I’d be sure to stay again.

Awesome stay in Edgartown!
My friends and I stayed here this past weekend for my Bachelorette and it was perfect! Not only did the house accommodate 10 people, but it was also the perfect set up for a weekend on the Vineyard. We spent a lot of time outside on the deck and it was such a great spot to hang out! The owners were super helpful and sweet and I cannot wait to stay here again!

Wonderful experience
Lovely family home, fully appointed, in a great location. 2 masters , 2 rooms with twins/trundles accommodate two families comfortably. We rent every summer and are never disappointed.

Great clean well located house with all the necessities
This was my first time at this property. Upon arrival the house was immaculate. It has everything, towels, linens, beach chairs, umbrellas, badminton set etc. I brought with me my college age sons and some of their friends as well as other neighbors from home. I also had a car and bicycles. We all had a great time, biking to the near by Morning Glory Farms, going to State Beach by car or bike and visiting Oak Bluffs, Edgartown, Vineyard Haven. We had only one day of rain but the basement was stocked with board games and a ping pong table which kept us entertained. The back yard patio with grill was great for dinners. Love it so much I plan to return again next year.

Great house on MV!
We rented this house last week for a girls trip. We had a great time and the house was perfect. It was stocked with everything you can think of, from towels to beach gear! Great location close to both Edgartown and Oak Bluffs. We didn't rent a car, but rented bikes instead. It worked out great because we rode our bikes during the day and then used Stagecoach Taxis at night. Each time we needed a ride, they would send a 15 passenger van and it worked out to be about $5-$7 per person each way. Not too bad, and cheaper than a car rental! Can't wait for our next trip!

Absolute Gem!
If you are looking for a clean, fully equipped, nicely decorated and great location on Martha’s Vineyard this is the place to rent. My family and I rented this home for the first time in July 2010 and we will be returning for our third stay this summer. The owners are organized and easy to do business with and their property is one of the nicest home’s we’ve rented in the 18 summers we’ve vacationed on the island. There are essentially two master bedrooms each with a king size bed so the property is great for two families of four if you are looking to vacation with friends. The house is located in a quiet development that’s a short ride to Edgartown and South Beach, close to Morning Glory Farm, and has easy access to the main road through the center of the island if you are heading to Oak Bluff, Vineyard Haven or Gay Head. The house sits on a wooded lot and has a wonderful wrap-around deck for outdoor dining and relaxing, and if you’re into tennis there’s a court in the woods behind the house. The owners have thought of everything to make your visit enjoyable (including a bike rack!) and I’m confident you will enjoy your stay as much as my family and I do.

A pearl of a place!
This immaculate house was perfect for us and our family. Quiet, private location with a great deck for outside meals. The game room in the basement was full of fantastic alternative activities for rainy days. It is just a short distance to Edgartown by the bike paths. Morning Glory Farm at the end of the street added some convenience as well. All of the amenities were new and pristine. We DEFINITELY will be back next year.

R&R Heaven
My husband and I have enjoyed over 20 years of vacations at this "home away from home". This property is nestled in a private wooded area with easy access to bike/walking paths that circle a nature preserve. In addition, a local farm which is just a 3 minute drive, offers home made baked goods as well as fresh fruit and vegetables. (We've enjoyed many candle light dinners either outside on the deck, or in the beautifully decorated dining room).
This comfortable 4 bedroom home provides all of the conveniences of home, complete with a spacious deck, tennis courts, large screen TV, and also has spare outdoor shower!
Edgartown is a short bike ride, and offers spectacular ocean views as well as many unique shops and restaurants. Also, a tidal estuary (often used for kyaking or rowing) is a 30-40 minute leisurely walk from the house.
I would highly recommend this property if you are looking for a true New England vacation experience that provides options for relaxation, shopping, and sports activities!

Great Family Vacation
We have stayed in this MV rental over 2 generations and it continues to be a favorite for the parents and kids. Freshened up every year, it has a great bike to South Beach/Edgartown location. Quiet neighborhood with tennis, dead end streets, and family atmosphere.

A true delight!
The atmosphere that created in their home at the Vineyard is far beyond what we had anticipated. The moment we opened the door a feeling of warmth and welcome came over us. This was not just a house, it was a home. The open, well-lit and spacious floor plan allows for great socialization and interaction among guests. The deck provides ample outdoor entertainment including a lovely grill area with everything you need to cookout. The kitchen is modern and fully functional and the decor of the living and sleeping areas are lovely while cozy and comfortable. Throughout this house, it is obvious that these owners care about what they provide their guests. We found the wine barrel shaped outdoor shower under the trees was a real treat -just awesome, really nice!! Some of our group were very happy to have the small gym equipment provided in the basement. While we came for a beach, kayak, fishing vacation, our family also enjoyed the 3 televisions for those sport watchers (one was a large screen) and the movie watchers in our group. I would recommend this house to anyone - it's centralized location left us with a simple, short bike ride to any destination worth visiting; yet the cite is still very private and intimate. This home is clean, well maintained, and has every amenity you need - a true home away from home. Its close proximity to beaches, restaurants and fabulous shops made it an ideal vacation home. We have stayed at this house many times - for girl's weekend away, family vacaction, thanksgiving and school Holidays.We can't wait to come back!

A vacation home that's like my own!
I have been vacationing in the Vineyard at this particular location for about 15 years and love it, because it feels like home away from home. There's a special comfort that the owners provide by doing extra little things above and beyond what's required for rental accommodations. They manicure and plant beautiful flowers every season, hang wind chimes around the property, added on an exquisite out door shower under the trees in the privacy of the back deck, provide a lovely grill area with everything you need to cookout, they provide hand painted wine glasses and very nice dinnerware and linens. Lots of the finer things of home. The living room has a big screen TV, a wonderful sound system to play your favorite CD's, and a fireplace for cool fall eves, if you visit off season. I have spent weekends, like Columbus Day there from time to time. They offer special weekend rates. All four bed rooms are color coordinated, clean, bright, and very comfortable with either king, queen, and/or 2 twin size beds. The house is extremely well maintained and the owners are easy to reach via phone or email and are very responsive to your needs. I have had several friends also rent this house and they love as well. We have all found the activities that suit us, because the area offers lots of sightseeing places (winery, ceramic gallaries, & museums), lovely walking, biking, roller blading trails, lots of opportunity for beaching, boating, and/or shopping & restaurants, and quiet places to relax. You can't go wrong renting this home for a week or two. Enjoy!
