Great location! The beach is just out your front door. The condo is comfortable & has most everything you could need for your stay. We hope to return.

great location easy access to the beach very clean unit

Luckily, we had nice weather and stayed on the beach more than in the condo. For the money spent for, my family could have stayed somewhere nicer. There was not enough room for the four of us, especially using the pull out couch. The mattress from the pull out was very thin and uncomfortable. We had to bring in a blow up mattress for them to sleep comfortably. Tacky paper was peeling from the kitchen cabinets drawers and toilet didn’t flush properly the entire time we were there. Condo really needs some upgrades!

Had a great experience staying at the Sunset Chateau. Found the property to be clean with the comforts of home. Loved the pool & the beach access. Only a few improvements should be made, needs new pillows, screen door should be repaired properly & more towels would have been great. Overall we will be back!

We have been staying at this location for 6 plus years. We love the location being so close to the beach. This year we had a family reunion and brought a 10 ft trailer with 6 kayaks. Well let me tell you, what a horrible hassle from the property mgmt! NO WHERE on the VRBO listing does it say you can't have a trailer attached to your vehicle. Even though we had stayed at this location before we have never brought a trailer, so we had NO IDEA this was not allowed. The ONLY place you at Sunset Chateau where this policy is stated is on a poster in the elevator. We checked in Saturday, half way through the week up until Wednesday , we had multiple calls and threated to be towed several times. We were happy to abide by the rules, which would have been nice to know BEFORE we drove 13 hours to get there, but NEVER did they offer a solution for us to park this trailer anywhere else. We ended up paying a dock $120 to park it there for 4 days. Our representative from VRBO was great about calling us and helping us but the mgmt at Sunset Chateau was horrible!! Needless to say the location is awesome, but if you have a problem don't expect anyone to help you.

The condo itself was ok but lacked towels. The long weekend which was Memorial Day weekend was very crowded and loud. Music blasted from other condos and beach all weekend long. We had a 1 1/2 year old in our condo which I would not recommend. Also the smell of marijuana was heavy around the complex.

We’ve been to the Sunset Chateau before many times when our family stayed there. This was our first time. The property itself was not as clean as we would have liked (sand on the floor, dirty shower doors, etc....basically all of the things that people complained about in the past which were clearly not addressed) but I guess some of it comes along with being right on the beach. I saw a comment below about the storm door being broken. Apparently the solution was to rip it off the hinges leaving behind a metal piece sticking straight out at knee level. We didn’t see it until my wife cut her leg while trying to get our sons stroller through the door. Nothing serious but still annoying. The cops got called on our second night because there was someone on our floor blasting music. He is an owner on the 4th floor and has absolutely no regard for his neighbors. After the cops left he started yelling and cursing at the people who called the cops on him (very classy). Apparently the cops did nothing because he continued to blast the music starting the next night. I can deal with loud music to a certain time but 11pm is a bit ridiculous. One night he was carrying his huge speaker up and down the walkway outside the doors and didn’t stop until we went out and yelled at him for waking up our colic 2.5 month old after we just fought for an hour to get him to bed. Drunk and disorderly doesn’t cover it. We definitely won’t be staying at this place ever again. There are plenty of other nicer places that are right on the beach at the same price point. Oh.....and no lounge chairs by the pool??? Why even bother having a pool??

I loved opening the windows and hearing the waves. I wished there were chairs at the pool area. The bottom floor appeared to be boarded up which looked a little concerning when I first arrived. There was only one working elevator so there was some wait time. But, all in all great location and as it appeared in the listing. Thank you for the relaxing stay.

Great quiet location and great value. This place had more things available to us than we expected like beach accessories, and extra things in the kitchen. 'We will be back!

Incredible location. Condo was fair for price should have been in better shape. No blankets for pull out couch, 4 cheap pillows, 2 beach towels and 2 poor beach chairs, toilet issues... Location, weather and sunshine made up for substandard condo.

Much needed getaway right on the beach with an amazing ocean view! Great location and views. FYI parking is very strict, we had friends come by (long enough to change clothes and switch cars) and within 10 minutes their vehicle was on a tow truck.

Clean and comfortable unit. Very quiet and safe area. Great places to go for my daily walks. Clean beach within feet.
