Das Green Cottage ist ein privates Ferienhaus in den alten Ocean Springs, nur wenige Gehminuten von Restaurants, Geschäften, Lebensmittelgeschäften und Häfen entfernt. It was like staying at your favorite grandma's lake home. I stayed for 2 weeks to celebrate my birthday, take a 2 week Real Estate Broker course, and celebrate father's day! The home was very cozy and had more than enough comforts. More than enough kitchen and bathroom essentials, supplies, and extras. The owner created a space that is more than welcoming and gives a sense of familiarity too. She has a guest book that many a guests (lots of repeat guests' entry) have filled out and left a piece of their memories behind in the form of words! I will be going back and staying often to stay at the Perfect AnyCation Home Across From The End Of The Road!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. Home was comfortable, clean, nicely furnished and in good condition. The yard is large. No steps to speak of, just one step up into the house. Bathroom has a grab bar at the commode. Kitchen appears well stocked with adequate cooking pots and utensils. Ocean Springs is a beautiful little Gulf Coast town and it is my hope it stays that way.

A very lovely property. I wish I could say that we were staying there for vacation, unfortunately it was for a funeral. It did allow my family to congregate and I was able to cook for the widow of my uncle, which was really nice. I would definitely stay here again. It was in a good location, close access to everything, but also provided good privacy.

Can't say enough about how perfect the Green Cottage was for us. Not too fancy just well stocked from kitchen to bath to bedrooms with very comfortable beds, couches and roomy screened front porch. Neighborhood amenities include walks to inner harbor and bike rides around the quiet streets. Communication with owner is excellent. We will be back.

Our week long vacation
This house worked out perfect for our family of four. This has been our fourth trip to ocean springs, this time with our daughter and her friend and we couldn’t have picked a better home to stay at. We were able to walk everywhere if needed as this was close enough to downtown the walk was enjoyable. Also this house had everything that you could even need, it was definitely like you were at home.

Green Cottage in Ocean Springs
We really enjoyed our relaxing stay in the Green Cottage. The location was perfect for everything we wanted to do in OS and the surrounding area. Very nice "homie" feeling, and front and back porch were amazing in the mornings and evenings.

Cozy cottage
This is my second stay at this cozy cottage. The cottage is comfortable, has nice amenities, and is located in a great neighborhood close to the Gulf and sightseeing opportunities. The gardens and trees are lovely, and the back yard patio has a firepit and a gas grill. And the artistic community of Ocean Springs always delights me. I am already planning a return visit.

My family and I stayed a week at this cottage and it was very peaceful. Anything you may need was provided. Rosemarie is a excellent host and we enjoyed the stay.

Charming Home
This lovely cottage fit my needs perfect while in town for business. The home was clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Very quiet neighborhood and beautiful yard. Rosemarie was the perfect host. She was always available if you had any questions. Rosemarie and Audrey went out of their way to accommodate my needs. I will definitely be staying here every time I visit Ocean Springs.

25th Anniversary celebration
This is a lovely home. It's in a quiet neighborhood and just a short drive to Biloxi and about an hour and a half to New Orleans. Rosemarie is such a nice person and Audrey Ann, the property manager is a delight and she knows good fishing spots!! Very clean. Would highly recommend this property.

Wonderful Place to Stay
This is a really wonderful and extremely comfortable home. All the amenities and great location. Quiet and peaceful and surrounded by trees. Very accessible to local restaurants, museum, waterfront, etc. and easy driving distance to Wildlife Refuges and Nature Preserves. Look forward to returning.

Marvelous Experience!!
We both were so pleased with our 4 night stay in this truly lovely cottage. Everything was ready when we arrived, and we were comfortable from the moment we set foot in the door. Bed was comfortable, kitchen was well-appointed, tvs were super, and the screened porch was absolutely delightful for morning coffee and late day wine. Our dog loved his morning walk down to the harbor, and the town of Ocean Springs is so close......lots of cute shops and fun restaurants there to explore. If you want the higher energy vibe of the Biloxi casinos, you're only a short drive away. Rosemarie was so easy to communicate with, always very prompt in answering any questions. By now she seems much more like a friend than a property owner. We've rented several properties through VRBO and have never been disappointed, but we would put the Green Cottage at the top of the list!

Very quiet area. Close to town center if we wanted to go to shops & restaurants. Round corner is the park & marina. The cottage is very cozy, spacious & comfy. Can't wait to go back.

Great reasonable getaway
My sister and I spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed ourselves. The house is very comfortable and very clean and neat. Great screened porch on the front and large fenced yard out back. Very convenient to everything. Great walking community. Owner was very prompt with her responses and repayment of security deposit. Would stay here again.

Relaxing, restorative stay in charming town
We stayed at this wonderful cottage over the Labor Day weekend. The cottage is very comfortable, well laid out and stocked with just about everything you need. It is in a wonderful location; close to the water yet close to the downtown shops, galleries and restaurants but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. My dogs enjoyed the fenced yard as well as, the free range chickens. Although I live less than two hours away, I felt like I had been far away. Ocean Springs is absolutely captivating!

great vacation stay
I had never been to Ocean Springs. Such an enjoyable trip. We took our boat, and there was plenty of room in the driveway for a truck and boat. Harbor was less than 5 minutes away, and fishing was fantastic. Good prices off the shrimp boats. Great restaurants. Nice quiet neighborhood, friendly neighbors, everything an individual could ask for in a vacation stay. Our favorite was the screened in porch. Rosemarie provided as much info as she could to assist in fishing spots, shopping, whatever we asked about. Highly recommended property.

Return visitors
We have been staying at Rosemarie's house in Ocean Springs for 6 years. From the beginning it has been a comfortable and relaxing place for us to stay. She has a well stocked kitchen as well as comfortable beds and plenty of linens. The screened in front porch is our very favorite place to spend our time while at the cottage. The addition of the 2nd bathroom is wonderful (not to mention beautiful!). No more interruptions while taking a shower! The updated lighting and tub/shower in the house's original bathroom is also very nice. I can't say enough wonderful things about this house and it's owner! Rosemarie always responds to email in a timely manner and addresses any questions you may have while staying at the cottage quickly and efficiently. We will be staying here for many more years to come!

We really enjoyed staying at the Kensington cottage. It was so clean and homey. Everything, and I mean everything, was supplied for our use. The neighborhood was quiet, making it perfect for relaxing. Even the backyard was secluded making it a good place to relax and just listen to the birds.
Even though the weather was a little cool, we still managed to get out and golf a couple times at nearby courses, as well as explore the area around Ocean Springs and Biloxi. We were never at a loss for things to go do or see.
If our plans include Ocean Springs in the future, we will check on the availability of the Kensington cottage first.

Wonderful Winter Get-away for 70+ Midwest Snowbirds Couple......
We've enjoyed previous winter stays in Ocean Springs, initially as volunteers following the Katrina Disaster and this is our first stay in Rosemarie's Kensington neighborhood home. We not only enjoyed the home and all it had to offer us, along with our 2 older spoiled doxies, but loved the friendly-family oriented neighborhood. It is not only comfortable but an extremely convenient and safe neighborhood for walks to the harbor marina, the gulf shoreline, the local grocery convenience and the joy of the artistic shops of Washington and Government Streets. And being that we enjoy using the kitchen, the Saturday's Farmer's market and the Winn Dixie are both easily accessible by foot or auto.
We spent many moments walking and hiking in the village when not bicycling about the community. Our biggest task was returning waves back to drivers who made courteous room for our "street life" as there are no sidewalks in most of the residential areas, adding to the charm of the community. An extra bonus was finding special events @ the Univ. of Mississippi Coastal Research Center and enjoying that collegian environment.
It was nice to be in a family oriented community and when we wanted to enjoy casinos and big name restaurants and the tourist attractions, all we had to do was drive across the beautiful 3 mile bay bridge to Biloxi and beyond to Gulfport, etc....and the Beau Rivage in Biloxi has a tremendous 1/2 priced Sr. breakfast and lunch buffet on Wednesdays.
Would we stay here again? Definitely!! Rosemarie is adding a 2nd bathroom with a shower and has plans to up-date the kitchen. And the towels in the bath are generous and luxurious!!! She was ALWAYS available by phone or e-mails when we had questions or needed discussions and sought feed-back from us during our 2+ month stay. We continue to maintain contact with her, sharing ideas and discussing probability plans for next winter's lodgings.

Wonderful home
My family and stayed in the home when visiting my stepson at Keesler AFB. Home was very clean and comfortable. Very close to he base,the beaches, restaurants, casinos and all of the Biloxi attractions. I highly reccomend staying here.

Charming House Lovely Town Perfect Getaway
We've stayed in the Green Cottage several times -- this year for 6 weeks. Everything we need is provided in this welcoming house and the location is ideal Distance to both Front Beach and East Beach is walkable, as is Ocean Springs' downtown area. Tennis courts, usually unoccupied, only one block away, small harbor very close by as is Shearwater Pottery. Kitchen fully equipped and screened porch is private to you but perfect for viewing the locals as they pass by. If you cook, the kitchen is fully equipped, and if you don't, Ocean Springs and Biloxi offer multiple excellent dining opportunities. We found it impossible to resist a great beer at the Flying Irishmen on Government Street, the apple turnovers and strawberry Bavarian cream cake at French Kiss Pastries on Washington Street, and the sublime oysters at the Half Shell Oyster House in Biloxi.
We love this house and town and keep returning. We highly recommend it.

Outstanding in every way
The listing description and photos of the cottage cannot fully reflect the wonderful stay we enjoyed to the utmost. The cottage is very attractive, clean, and the views were outstanding. It has every convenience possible. It is in a perfect setting so we could enjoy the beautiful flowers, trees and plants yet maintain complete privacy. It was close enough to the harbor, beach and within walking distance of charming Ocean Springs where shops are unique and the food is fabulous. We recommend the property without reservation. The owner was most helpful and understanding. We hope to return as often as possible.
