This property was across the street from a public beach access. The pool was awesome! The apartment was clean but dated, no dishwasher, bring quarters for communal washer and dryer. The mattress for the king size bed was to soft. We enjoyed our stay and plan to visit again! Also, this property is with in walking distance to St. Armands circle.

The best thing about this condo is where it is...which is right across the street from Lido Key beach. A short walk, and you are strolling through Saint Armands Circle. For us though, the condo itself was just "ok". It is sadly very old and needs a thorough cleaning and a lot of updates. The furniture in the living room is so old and gross looking, that we never sat on it for the entire stay. The fridge is rusting and the light inside never stays on. Many lights didn't work. Counter tops are sticky and no matter how much you clean them it never goes away. Some of the burners on the stove don't work. Living room ac doesn't work unless you wiggle the plug! A little scary! Bedrooms ac is SO LOUD it will disturb your sleep. Bed is ok, but kind of uncomfortable. Bathroom tub paint is peeling. It was advertised as having beach chairs etc...but most of it is broken! We did manage to find 2 chairs that worked and an umbrella, which was great...but owner should really go in there and get rid of all the crap and broken items. There were linens and towels and that was very helpful..but the closet where they are stored stinks. Smells like mildew or like a closet where the items stored there has been there for years and not cleaned. They should supply a couple of trash bags...a person on vacation should not have to go buy a whole box of bags just to be able to empty trash. The pool and pool area where great! Very clean. Grills were old, but at least they worked. Cuddos to the man who cleans that outside gates. It is really sad to see a condo like this. A good cleaning, coat of paint and updating this place would go a long way to making this somewhere people would want to stay at again. We loved the location but would not stay at this condo again.

The apartment 209 was dated with a few upgrades it would be nice. The bathroom sink did not a have a stopper in it! The tub floor was bubbled! Not a good bed! There was no toilet paper in the place when we arrived!! It was a very convenient location but I think I would check other apartments in this property before going with this one The one saving Grace the pool area!!! Nice clean pool!!! A+ to their pool man!!

The sofa bed was terrible! Both to sleep on and to even sit on! Shame on the owner for not replacing it! As a result, we had to sleep on the hard floor. The people below complained about our walking in the unit, it needs rugs! Disappointing!

The property was dirty when we arrived. Had to wait 2 hours for a mediocre cleaning job to be done. One extra roll of TP for the week. Not enough! Great location but I would not stay here again or recommend.

The room was nice, but a bit dated. Could use a few updates. AC units, plumbing (toilet), kitchen countertop in sink area. Beach chairs were not meant for adults. Maybe check out that hall closet of beach stuff and get rid of some things. Definitely need better beach chairs, at least. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. Great location, nice people and we liked the quiet, peaceful atmosphere at the Lido Dorset. We would definitely return!

The property is older and is in need of remodeling. But for the price, you can’t beat the location. Directly across the street from the beach and a 10 minute walk to shops and restaurants.

1st time renting on Lido Beach. Had a great experience, great shopping and close to the beach. Property was quiet and well maintained. Couple things in the unit - shower curtain liner ripped and just tied together, the one door's handle came completely off and shut hard, and furniture was a bit outdated. We really enjoyed our stay, we felt comfortable and safe. Will come back! I was so relaxed I forgot the check out date! So embarrassing but management handled it so professionally. I apologize to the guests that had to stay in another unit for a night.

We originally had planned to come on this trip in April but had to postpone twice because of the Covid 19 virus. I'm so glad we did because we changed our accomedations and stayed here. It was a perfect location. We had a very short walk to the beach everyday and words cannot describe the sunsets while we were here. Perfect weather all week too. I would definitely recommend people to stay here if they are looking for a nice reasonably priced vacation spot that is exactly as listed. Thanks again for the hospitality. We stayed for 1 week and it was a nice Apartment. (The pullout sofa could need an update.) Walking distance to Armands circle and the Beach just across the street. The only thing that wasn’t good was the weather.... But with the heated pool the kids were happy anyway. I definately would stay here again.

Old building but clean and across from the beach.

This condo was perfect for my husband and I! It was clean, quiet, and convenient to the beach and Lido Key public beach! Our biggest decisions of the day were "ocean or pool" and "SPF 30 or 50 today?" :-) We would definitely stay here again!

Clean and across the street from beach. Only downfall was laundry room. It was $1.50 a load and even lost a couple of quarters (bring some because the office doesnt have any).

I have stayed at this property many times and love it. The owners are the best!

We enjoyed our stay at the condo which was right across the street from Lido Beach. The condo was nice and clean, and had everything we needed for our stay. There are shops and restaurants within 10-15 minute walk. Even though the complex was built in the 60's the condo is updated. The whole complex is very clean and has a nice pool. We stayed for a week in June so the area was very quiet. We will definitely come back.

No problems at all. Clean and convenient. Looking to rent a unit at the Dorset for a week in the fall. Our family enjoyed it!

We stayed in unit 209 but when communicating with owner was told a different unit. The unit was very cute and right across the street from the beach. It was exactly what we were looking for, had everything we needed for our stay.

Location to the beach..town and shopping couldn't be better. Myself and my 3 daughters came for Christmas and the holiday spirit and crowd events made us feel right at home. I would stay at this property again.

Clean condo in a great proximity to a great beach!

This apartment was perfect for us - we have been to lido beach many times and we both agree that this is our favourite place to stay. The location was great as it is an easy walk to both the beach and to St Armand Circle ( lovely shops and many excellent restaurants). The apartment was well stocked with all the things that you would need and the people - both running the place and the other guests- were very nice. I am sure that we will be coming back to enjoy this place again.

We stayed in unit 209 at the Dorset, located across the street from Lido Beach. There was an ocean view from the livingroom window. It was directly across from the Pavilion on the beach that offers restrooms, picnic tables, a snack shop that offers hamburgers, hotdogs, ice cream etc.. along with outside showers to rinse off the sand. The beach itself is a lovely beach. The Dorset was a 10 minute walk to St Armands Circle, an area filled with art galleries, high end clothing shops, restaurants and bars. The streets are lined with beautiful statues. Very pretty. The Dorset itself is an older property, but has weathered the years well. The property was very clean and well maintained. There is a pool, hours 9am to 10pm, and coin op laundry machines. There are no vending or ice machines on the property. It is very quiet and may not be ideal for families or younger adults looking for an active property. For couples looking for a quiet get away, it is lovely. I met a couple who had been coming there for over 30 years! As far as the unit itself, it was a little bit dated, but very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need. This was a one bedroom unit with a king sized bed and plenty of closet and drawer space. I liked that there were 2 doors. The one in the bedroom lead directly to the pool. If you are looking for a quiet, clean place to stay where you can walk to the beach, I would recommend this property.

Relatively small complex - 32 rooms I think. Our unit was 2 BR on second floor looking across street from public parking lot for Lido Beach. Unit was updated and very clean. TV's were a little small, but you're not supposed to watch TV at the beach anyway. It would have been nice to have a patio; we moved some chairs to walkway outside front door to watch the beach and sunset. That worked because there were few people in the complex; it may not work during a busier time. Bedrooms and living room were plenty big. Exterior of complex was very clean and well maintained. Pavers on pool deck looked brand new and pool had been recently re-finished. Vicki was great to work with; called me shortly after we made reservation and I texted her with a question while we were there and she responded within seconds. .

I love the Lido Dorset and it's fantastic location.

Older property, very clean, convenient to best of Lido. Nice people in office. No complaints except salt air has taken its toll on doors, etc.
