Fantastic apartment which was fully equipped with everything you would need to enjoy your stay! Beautifully decorated inside and the pool area was fantastic! Would definitely stay here again.

What a lovely place this is. Perfect for our family of four. Lovely spacious apartment, nice pool area, close to Vilamoura and Quarteira and within driving distance to Albufeira too. Clodagh is on hand to help with any issues that come up and made us feel so welcome. We hope to return again in the future!

We had a lovely weekend for a family wedding. 3 generations the apartment is perfect with the downstairs bedroom which ensures everyone had space. Also very close to pool made everything very easy.

Has to be one of the best apartments we've ever stayed in! Set in beautiful gardens, a stone's throw from a lovely pool, it is perfect. The pool is great for kids and adults alike with a very gradual shallow end for little ones and a deeper end for more able swimmers. The apartment itself is extremely well equipped and has lovely decor. It has A/C throughout and is very spacious. There is a lovely big bedroom downstairs as well as 2 on the ground floor. Underground parking is an added bonus. If you don't hire a car then an Uber to the marina costs around €5 each way. We did hire a car and got it considerable cheaper through Doyouspain.
Clodagh gave us really good communication. I cannot recommend highly enough!
We will definitely be booking this apartment when we visit Portugal again. 5*****
Here's some places you may wish to visit: Aqushow, which is just around the corner. We got out tickets for €23 by searching for a discount code. Fantastic water park. Take a picnic to save money! Zoomarine is a great day out. Don't miss the pirate show! Tickets online were €31 but you can do a second day for €10. Food at the park was, pretty reasonable. If you fancy something different, head down to Arthur's watersports at Vale do Lobo and hire a pedalo for €20 for 30 minutes on the lake. There's a lovely board walk through an area of natural beauty with a bridge that takes you over the dunes onto the beach. Here there's a little snack place where you can grab a drink, sandwich, ice cream. There's also a mini golf nearby called Par Tee golf where for €13 you can have a round of golf and a drink. The mini golf in Villamora is also brilliant. It has 2 18 hole courses. For a great cheap meal or takeaway, try the chicken shack in Quarteira, near Lidl. You'll get a whole spit roast chicken and chips for around €5 (takeaway).

Wonderful home and environment for a peaceful stay.
Everything was as it was described. Ownership extremely cooperative and available, great environment, perfect vacation home.
Although the location is not right on the seaside, and you need the car to do whatever you need, it only takes a few minutes drive for anything you may want or need doing. Very good location in center of the Algarve.
Very safe, too.

lucia apartment 4th -14th sept 2011
we found the apartment to be exactly as listed, modern, right beside the swimming pool, very spacious and the kitchen literally had everything you could want. There was also a safety gate for the stairs.
the apartment was spotless when we arrived and is very well maintained.
it is the perfect location for a holiday with young children, we travelled with a 3.5 yr old and 14month old and it really was home from home. Car rental is necessary. we didnt eat out with the kids but popped to the hypermarket 5 mins away everyday for fresh food. we brought our sky card which was a big advantage as the girls cold watch their bedtime show. there were lots of families there at the same time with young kids (under 5's) so we had nice company. a lot of the people we met were return visitors to the complex.
i would recommend lucia apartment to friends and family and would return again.

Beautiful apartment
We had a fantastic holiday at this apartment, it was very clean and well looked after as was the whole Palmyra complex. The owner was very helpful right from day one and had also provided a lot of good information in a folder within the apartment. The pool facilities were great and the communal gardens were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Lovely spacious apartment in a beautiful complex
We spent 1 week in this lovely apartment in early June 2011. There was more than enough room for 4 adults and an 18 month old boy who loves to run around! Everything was very modern, clean and comfortable, good aircon system, with a well equipped kitchen and a large dining and lounge area. The terrace overlooked a really well maintained garden and pool area which meant we could hop in and out of the apartment in between stints in the glorious sunshine. The pool is large and was fairly quiet most days, with a nice little baby pool and splash areas dotted around. Very family friendly with a nice life guard.
The apartment was really easy to drive to from Faro airport (25 mins) and there's a basement parking spot with a door straight into the apartment. I wouldn't recommend staying here without a car - it wouldn't be particularly easy to walk to the shops or restaurants, especially not in the heat, and you'll want to be able to get to the great attractions nearby. In particular the marina at Vilamoura is great for restaurants and is 10 minutes drive away. We also ventured to other towns on the coast (Albufeira, Portimao) which were easily reached.

We didn't take up the golf, but we had a great time and would recommend staying here for those with young families and/or anybody looking for relaxation within an easy drive of the Algarve's fantastic coast.

Beautiful apartment in an top quality development.
We stayed in April 2011 and the weather was fantastic.
Your apartment is beautiful very high quality throughout. The arrangemets were excellent and everything went very smoothly. The apartment was spotless and the sky tv handy if you bring your viewing card. The heated outdoor pool was essential in April as the non heated pool was very cold.
The apartment has everything you need to enjoy a perfect holiday. The ground in palmyra are beautiful and has secure entry. The Vila Sol resort has a delifrance has excellent food for lunches. as supermarket is also at the entrance which is well stoked with fresh bread daily. Car hire is essential and ensure when booking it you use someone like economycar which has zero excess. The marina in vilamoura has some excellent restaurants which you can get any type of cuisine you wish.
This was our third time to vilamoura and if you are there and wish to see some cities Seville and Lisbon are just over two hours away and well worth visiting.
We would definately stay at this apartment again and Clodagh was very helpful to ensure our holiday went without a hitch.

the apartment was gorgeous.
loved the apartment. plenty of room. all rooms decorated lovely and very clean. grounds and pools were great. heated pool about 1 min walk away. apartment overlooking pool also but it was not heated.we were there 1st week in may so we needed the heated pool. you would definetly need a car staying here. clodagh gave us email address of car hire company she uses and we had no trouble with them. car seats were very dirty alright so make sure you bring blanket to put over them. would def go back there again. ideal for children. supermarket and pub only few mins drive away. i didnt think food was great in the pub but we only went there 1 night. we went into vilamoura to get something to eat. more choice there. overall had great holiday.

Lovely Apartment
Our stay at your apartment during December was very enjoyable. The apartment and indeed all the apartments at Palmyra were extremely nice and very well presented including the outside pool areas and gardens, the underground parking and security gates makes this development a great choice. We have stayed at Vila Sol on many many occasions and always enjoy our time there. We always hire a car which is an essential and the golf is always good and the green fees this year were half price really excellent value. A great place to come with or without children, the restaurants in Almancil are fab. Your apartment was perfect, very clean and spacious and one of the best we have stayed in.

Beautiful apartment
Me and 2 friends stayed at this apartment/villa for a week in June and its absolutely gorgeous, its in pristine perfect condition, has everything you could need for a self catering holiday. The rooms were all cosy with ensuite bathrooms, so me and my friends had out our room and bathroom each, which made things a whole lot easier. It has a shared pool, and its really peaceful to sunbath there if you want a relaxing day. The only thing i'd reccomend to fellow guests is to hire a car because it is in the middle of a golf complex and the supermarket and bars and restaurant is a lengthy walk, other than that it is superb.

Apartment in Palmyra
We had previously stayed in Villa Sol in a different property but as we have two young children, the apartment in Palmyra suited as it is located on the ground floor. From our initial contact with the owners, they were efficient, accurate and very friendly. All queries were answered straight away. Upon arrival we were delighted with the high specification of the apartment, it was very clean and exactly how it was advertised. The pool / grounds were only 30yds from our balcony and were exceptionally maintained. The pool area was perfect for entertaining two young children. The marina in Villamoura is only 5 minutes drive away with many excellent restaurants and bars. A beautiful setting to eat dinner every evening. I played the golf course in Villa Sol (discount cards were provided by the owners) and that too is as beautiful as the apartment. My wife availed of the spa (discount cards also provided) and thoroughly enjoyed herself. Although we were in a resort with all ammenities, we would reccommend that a car is essential. We were only 20 minutes drive from the airport which was another bonus. I would have absolutely no reservations about reccommending this property to anyone else and we will definitely be returning in the future.

Oasis of Calm and Relaxation
Myself , my husband and our two little girls had a brilliant time in this gorgeous holiday home . It is part of beautiful estate covered in brightly coloured flowers and only a few steps away from a great swimming pool. The girls were able to run around and enjoy themselves because of the estate security and we found the apartment was perfect for relaxation and reading. The kitchen had everything we needed and we barbequed fresh fish and seafood a few times on the balcony and ate our dinner as the sun went down. The area has lots of beaches and restaurants around - we found some of the little local places great fun . We were also able to venture down to the marina in Vilamoura and sampled lots of great food and ice-cream. There are a huge range of supermarkets and great choice and value. I was tempted to go to the spa - I didn't make it in the end - but the staff were really friendly and I'd like to go back and try it some day.

My family and I spent a fantastic week in this 3 bed apartment.Great location,with big swimming pool and beautiful gardens on your doorstep.The apartment itself was extremely comfortable and spacious with restaurants,golf courses,supermarkets very close by.Would recommend very highly.

Lucia Apart. palmyra Villa Sol
We stayed in the apartment the second time. We have had always great family holiday. The apartment is very well equipped and although everything is very clean. A car is necessary. It is very good located for excursions(home country, aquapark, Sevilla, Spain...).
Vila Sol is very well maintained.
We would recommend it to others.

Excellent correspondance with owner. We were delighted with this property.It was very well equipped, well maintained and spotless. Although not everyone likes a TV on holiday...the fact that it had sky and we took our own sky-card was a real bonus on the colder days or evenings. All surrounding garden areas were well maintained and all staff very polite and un-intrusive. There is quite a treck to the local supermarket and nearest resaurant however, we clocked it at just under 2km, so we feel a car would be necessary. No complaints at all...would be very happy to book again.

We had a great family holiday at the apartment and would recommend it to others.
The facilities in the apartment were excellent, three bedrooms and three bathrooms, flat screen TV with sky and a great kitchen with dishwasher.
It is a great base for golfers and families alike.

We stayed in lucia appartment in May 2008 for one week.
The appartment was if anything more superior than the description given by the owners. The appartment itself was spotless as were the gouunds pool and general area.
We would highly recommend this appartment. Car hire is however essential.
