My daughter and I made a last minute decision to come to Butte for the weekend. Lucky US our favorite VRBO was available. This lil place is perfect.. comfy, homie and functional for us to have our own space and hang together.

The home is older but lovely and very well appointed with beautifully renovated bathrooms. We didn't spend alot of time at the property as our days were spend exploring areas around Butte and we ate out for every meal. But the home was clean and we had a great view of the mountains out the large kitchen window.

This place is lovely.. functional.. relaxing.. really enjoyed our stay and plan to be back!

Property worked out perfectly for our needs. Darling, historical home, well maintained and very comfortable.

Bed linens, tub, toilets, bathroom sinks, & bathroom floor were clean. 3 of 4 towels were clean. Nothing else was clean. Every surface was covered with dirt, dust, sticky goo, food, or some other substance. Shower curtains: mold & other substances. Seam between tub & wall has mold. Bathroom countertops: some goo. Kitchen counters: dirt, food particles. Kitchen scrub brushes were dirty. Washing machine: mildew, significant odor & other substances. Load came out dirtier than it went in & machine doesn’t wash the soap out of items. Had to rinse & wash our load by hand. Dryer: full of dirt & grime. Had to vacuum it out & clean it to use it. Floor around the washer was extremely dirty, including used dryer sheets on the floor. Furniture: layers of dirt & dust had to be washed off before putting things down. Floors: vacuum had over an inch in canister from vacuuming one room & the dryer. Scrubbed kitchen sink to use it. Over 25% of utensils & kitchen items were dirty. Hot pads were covered in grease & food. Closet: I had to vacuum & scrub the floor before even putting my suitcase down. Dirty windows: windows, window seals, all parts of the windows are dirty. 1 small window in front bedroom, 1 in 2nd bedroom, 1 in kitchen nook, & 2 windows in the back bathroom open. No other windows open & only one of the fans moves any air on a hot day. I contacted the owner as we left & I missed their calls as I was out of cell range. I texted them photographs & haven’t heard anything back since.

Great place, close to downtown. Used the washer and dryer and they worked great. Great view out of the kitchen windows. Highly recommend.

We had a great time in Butte. This was a perfect spot close to uptown bars and restaurants. The place was super clean and spacious. Excellent views of the city and mountains from the top of the hill. Thanks!

If you're visiting Butte, this is a wonderful place to stay! It's close to local amenities and is a clean, quaint property. Definitely recommend!

Great location to stay in Butte!

Was a great place for us to stay. Have a daughter attending college in Dillon, and a son at Missoula... Butte was a great place for us to meet for the weekend, and the quaint little home, with great amenities fit our needs perfectly. Thank you!

Great place. It was nice and clean on arrival. It also had plenty of space. Even a few board games to play. We Would only suggest locking door handles on the bedrooms and bathrooms. The main reason is because the bathroom doors to the the connecting bedroom. The door to the east bedroom would not latch which made things interesting getting out of your shower. Other than that it was awesome and had great views on both sides of the house. We would definitely stay again.

We enjoyed staying at this lovely cozy home. It’s charming…felt like visiting a grandma but with an updated bathroom. The location is great. Wonderful mountain and territorial views and walking distance to town. Butte itself is so interesting and historic. Highly recommend!

Before booking this house, I read every review and of the options available I chose the more expensive one hoping for a great getaway with friends. Pros: Check in was easy, uneventful. First impression was this is cute, We found the living room and dining area to be adorable, setup well with the older style of architecture. Cons: The kitchen leaves a little more to be desired. Bathrooms, The home has 1 1/2 baths and we were surprised and disappointed to find The only full bathroom with a shower was set BETWEEN the bedrooms as a Jack & Jill. IE: Access from both bedrooms This is NOT mentioned in the VRBO description or disclosed in any of the information, plus one of the adjoining bedroom doors did not latch. This made evening usage very awkward and felt like we had no privacy and none of us slept well which is sad when all we wanted was a fun weekend getaway.

This was such a wonderful, cozy, comfortable house in a great location for Uptown. We had everything we needed and the 2 bathrooms and 2 bedrooms were very useful. Loved it!

We were in town for my grandmother’s 100th birthday party and the house couldn’t have fit our needs more. The hosts were gracious enough to allow us to bring our dogs (the side yard is perfect for pet breaks). Neighbors are friendly (this IS Montana after all) and the front porch is perfect for enjoying the cool summer breeze. The two bedrooms share a bath (sort of jack and Jill style) and there’s a half bath off of kitchen. Speaking of which, there’s a terrific bar height kitchen table with stools - incredible views of the mountains. Made for a great impromptu office (and the view made those conference call meetings tolerable)! The Kirkland bath and body products were a pleasant surprise, as were the high quality Kleenex and paper products (finally a rental that doesn’t feel like a truck stop restroom). Terrific hosts - were quick to reply when we had a question about the home (before we rented) and again during the rental when we had to stay a few additional days. Seriously, can’t imagine staying anywhere else the next time we’re in Butte (and Gramma’s house is full!) and highly recommend.

This is a great little rental. It was very cute, very clean, and well stocked. It was very hot in Butte during our stay and we did wish for an air conditioner. But we would stay again.

We walked nearly everywhere - to historic uptown Butte, hiking, the best butcher shop (Excelsior Meats)…. Our hosts, Melissa and Ty, had suggestions for activities, places to eat and more. The front porch was our morning and afternoon place to be with fabulous mountain and valley views. Butte is a great central location for side trips & great hiking. Saturday morning farmer’s market in town, the historic Butte tour, mine tour, and Main Street music were fun!

The property was very nice. The charm of the craftsmanship of this century old home was in every room. Very clean, well maintained home with very comfy beds! Thank you!

Location and house were great. Especially liked the felony porch in the cool mornings.

Beautifully renovated home, clean, with updated bathrooms. It was a nice place for us to rest after reuniting with a large family for a memorial service. It was nice to sit on the porch to reminisce. Our hostess was very accommodating and easy to reach. The area is quiet, walking distance to the hospital, and there’s a beautiful view of the town from the kitchen. Had we stayed for the 4th of July, I’m sure we would have enjoyed the town fireworks from the kitchen 😁

We really loved this property. It was very clean and accommodating. I loved the view, old fashioned molding and modern upgraded bathrooms. I recommend this property to anyone who loves the charm of and older home.

This is my second time renting this home. I loved everything about it. And the location was perfect. The next time I’m in town I will rent it again.

We stayed for just two days in this authentic mining town in a house that probably housed an original Butte miner's family! It was a great experience to step back in time (but with modern amenities!) and stay in this 1920s home! Also, the location was perfect - right in the middle of the historic district of Old Town Butte and never more than 5 minutes away from awesome museums, mining tours, churches, markets, copper king mansions and restaurants. Great stay, things were clean and communication with the owner was extremely quick and easy. Thanks for a great stay in a well-kept home in the middle of "the richest hill on earth!!"
