The stay was wonderful, how ever I think the house keeping is not keeping up with making sure to dust the window seals for spiderwebs, found a few spiders in Three rooms one In the downstairs bath were two. One in the bedroom downstairs. One in the upstairs bedroom. I know the house is in the mountains. But other than that our stay was wonderful. The shower with the jacuzzi tub a bit hard to get into to take a shower. My wife had a very hard time getting in. I had to assist her getting in and out. Might consider in the future removing that and making it a regular shower. Just my opinion cause of how hard it was to get in and out of it. Really love the wood burning stove. Kept the upper house really nice and warm. But Will return again.

It was a amazing experience

We happened upon this charming home five years ago on a school snow trip and have returned every year since. The hosts are very communicative and accommodating. The house has everything you need for a wonderful stay. Works great for multi families as there are five bedrooms and three bathrooms spread apart enough for some privacy. The kitchen is well stocked and the beautiful deck overlooks the pine trees. The kids have a wonderful time each year sledding directly from the house . They are well stocked with firewood to enjoy snowy evenings . Highly recommend

We would definitely stay again. It was a nice place very roomy.

Shari's house was exactly what we wanted for our New Year's stay. The cabin was huge and incredibly clean. The kitchen had literally everything we could need, and the neighborhood was quiet and beautiful! We really enjoyed our time here and would absolutely love to come back next year. Thanks Shari!

Great for the whole family. Guys enjoy short trip to fish on the lake. Games, lots of space. Love the upgrades since our last stay. Will be back again

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cabin is large and comfortable. Communication with owner was excellent and after a small incident, there was a quick response from her. Large deck to lounge and barbecue. Beds were comfy. If I had to say anything negative, it would be the need for central air conditioning. 105 degree days made for hot nights as well. Thanks so much.

Had a great time, beautiful area, lots of room in the cabin. Three families, 10 people total, had a great time. Close to town and the lake. Quiet neighborhood. Host was friendly and responsive.

This property is perfect for our three families each year. Great sledding when there’s snow! Home is equipped with everything you need ( don’t forget towels but the owner tells you that well in advance). Owner has great communication and is very accommodating. Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood . Have returned each year in February and will continue to do so.

We had some issues but above all, our host tried very hard to resolve this issues and reimbursed us for nights we were unable to stay. This saved the rating but I could not give it higher than a 4 star. This is the first rental property that we ever stayed in that was not fully ready when we arrived. You had to turn on the water, turn up the water heater and turn up the thermostat which was set to 45 degrees. Unfortunately, the heater never turned on. Despite many attempts, the heat was not able to be repaired and we left early. The house was equipped with space heaters and a wood burning fireplace insert which helped. Additional items: The water in the kitchen sink never warmed up. The laundry room had water on the floor which the owner also cleaned up and attempted to fix but it continued to be wet. The pre-check in instructions noted the breakers may trip when using kitchen appliances. This is true. However, the breaker box is in the laundry room so we had to stand in water when flipping the breaker back on. Again, we had some unfortunate issues which affected our stay. The house otherwise is very spacious and has a well equipped kitchen. The driveway was cleared when it snowed and there was plenty of wood for the fire. If you stay here - reminders - you must bring you own towels and your log on to your streaming service if you want to watch TV,

The Cabin/House was pleasantly nice and better than the pictures.

The location of this property was perfect, the lake was just a few minutes away and parking was generous. The constant climbing of stairs was a little bit tedious but we managed. The carpet is getting at a stage where it should probably be replaced. overall our stay was extremely enjoyable, we did not use any of the downstairs bedrooms as our number of guests were reduced due to health problems.

This is the perfect place to stay to let the teenagers stay up late and adults still get an area to sleep with no giggling. Great pool/game area for the kids beds are comfortable and layout of the cabin fit plus perfect. Thx Shari for the most enjoyable family getaway

This property was very comfortable and the location to Shaver Lake Village was great. It was a nice quiet neighborhood. I highly recommend this house for a large family.

Aside from not having any wi-fi or A/C, in the times we live in, the accommodations were adequate......

Lots of stairs and family and animal friendly although it was hard carrying our disabled dog up and down the stairs. Not advisable for anyone with disabilities

Nice location and cozy and rustic. My fault that I didn’t see there were no towels provided or internet.

The place was spacious. But it was very dark in the house during the day time with the windows open and lights on. The beds and couches were very hard and uncomfortable. There was no wifi or cable. So the tvs were a bit useless, we didn’t find the dvds until way later. Over all the place was okay but I wouldn’t book there again.

This is the second time we've booked this cabin, and had a great time. The location is beautiful, not too far from attractions, restaurants, etc. We've found something new to do close by each time we've been here. Will definitely book again in the future.

Our family loved the property. The house was comfortable and roomy for all of us. We appreciated all the comforts of home. The scenery is beautiful and it was so nice and peaceful! Would love to come again!!

The house was great for our family trip. Lots of space for the kids to run around and enjoy. Pool table was a big hit! There is no Wi-Fi but we didn’t mind, it was nice to unplug and spend time together. Property manager was very quick to reply to any issues we had and was always very courteous. We will definitely be back!
