"Star of the Sea" ist eine 4 Zim./3. 5 Bäder an einer ECKE direkt gegenüber dem Meer mit freiem Blick und Zugang zum Privatstrand. Ocean Blvd. W. - 1/2 Meile von der Brücke mit Option für beheizten privaten Pool. Der direkte Blick auf den Strand ist völlig frei, ohne Hindernisse. Sie sehen buchstäblich, wie die Wellen auf den Sand der Brandung schlagen! Es gibt Decks zum Umwickeln (von vorne nach hinten auf beiden Etagen)! Setzen Sie sich auf die Veranda und beobachten und lauschen Sie den Wellen, die direkt vor Ihnen auf den Sand krachen, oder sitzen Sie auf der überdachten Veranda mit Blick auf den Pool oder beobachten Sie die vorbeifahrenden Boote auf der Wasserstraße. Kürzlich renoviert in diesem Winter mit neuen Fußböden im Flur, Bemalung entlang des Treppenhauses und aktualisiertem Fernseher im Hauptgebäude, neuen Terrassen an der Veranda und neuer Außengestaltung.
Das Gute an diesem Haus ist, dass Sie, wenn der Strand zu heiß oder zu voll ist, in der privaten, umzäunten Gartenoase zu Ihrem eigenen Badeort gehen können. Entspannen Sie am Pool in einer ruhigen Umgebung, schwimmen Sie ein paar Runden oder spielen Sie sogar Billard in einem der größten Pools auf der Insel Holden Beach!
Parken Sie mit 2 Seiten unter dem Haus für Autos und gehen Sie dann zur Korallentür, die Sie für die Woche zu Ihrem Hafen führt. Wählen Sie zwischen zwei Schlafzimmern mit Blick auf den Strand oder einem der beiden hinteren Schlafzimmer (eines mit Blick auf den Pool). Zwei der vier Schlafzimmer haben sogar eine umlaufende Veranda entlang der gesamten Hausseite mit Blick auf den Pool am nördlichen Ende. Loved the location. The property was just as advertised. We enjoyed the pool and the decks, especially the little sitting area off of the kitchen. The house was comfortable and we took turns cooking meals. Would definitely stay again.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Star of the Sea. Plenty of room for 6 adults and two children. The well-stocked kitchen with island allowed for two people to prepare meals. The pool was large enough for us all to play and swim in. Beach access was so convenient. The true star was the view from the front balcony. Another covered porch looks out over the pool. Owner was very accommodating and helpful, replying to questions quickly. Bedrooms are good size. Two bunk beds in one room, with its own bathroom. Spacious master has king bed and own en suite. The other bedrooms share a Jack and Jill bath. One of those bedrooms has glass panel French doors (with light curtains) that inhibits privacy in that room a bit. Holden Beach maintains a ‘residential’ atmosphere that contributes to a relaxing vacation. We will return to this house and would recommend to our friends and families.

This was a great house for our group of six adults and four children to stay in for a long weekend. Location was great and the communication with the property management was really good.

We had such a wonderful long weekend at Holden Beach. We were surprised when we got there that the property was even better than we expected. The view of the ocean is amazing and the pool is huge. The walk to the beach is short and easy. The host was amazing to work with and answered any questions that we had in a timely manner. We would definitely stay here again.

Great property for your vacation. Home was super clean, hosts were extremely responsive to communications, and check in/out was extremely simple.
Quick note if you have little ones - make sure they don't drag their feet on the wood deck surrounding the pool. We came home with a handful of splinters!

We had a great time during our stay here! It has all of the amenities we were looking for and the property owner was wonderful and communicated everything we needed to know. Even stopped by to start the pool heater which we really enjoyed, and worked with us on switching properties after a family illness prevented some guests from attending. So awesome to walk across the street to the private beach access! Will definitely stay again!

This home has a beautiful view and plenty of space for a family. The home is located across the street from the beach with an uninstructed view of the ocean. It also has a pool that was so nice & very clean. The home was nicely furnished & the kitchen was well stocked. The owners are very nice and quick to respond. Our only complaint is that it is in need of a deep cleaning.

We were very pleased with this house on Holden Beach. I rent a couple times a year typically at Emerald Isle. This was my first visit to Holden in over 30 years. This was the cleanest house that we have ever stayed in. This was a family trip and there was plenty of room for everyone. Very spacious living area and beautiful views.

Everything about the property was fabulous! It was perfect for our family vacation. The view was amazing, the multiple outdoor seating areas and the heated pool were a big plus! Everything we could have needed was provided in a super clean and calming environment. The walk across the beach was quick and traffic was minimal and courteous about letting us cross. Owners are quick to respond to any questions. Great location, not far from the bridge, walking distance to two restaurants and shops, but we still made the quick 5 minute drive across the bridge every night for ice cream. Highly recommend this home, can’t wait to go back!

Amazing House, Deck, Pool, Location... it has it all. It was like a ship on the ocean all to ourselves. The best 3rd floor deck on the island with an unobstructed view of the sky and beach which is literally right there. I spent hours and hours on the deck watching the birds and sky. At night the stars go from overhead all the way down to the horizon in front of you.
The 3rd floor is perfect with a capable kitchen that has plenty of gear to get any job done. The 2nd floor sleeping quarters are very nice and the master bathroom is lovely. Super comfy beds, great water supply. The bottom level entrance is also perfect. The pool was wonderful. Gas grill. This place has it all.
All in all, I was sad to leave and could have stayed here forever. I hope to return some day.

We had a great time at Star of the Sea! The location is perfect and convenient to the beach, coffee shop, grocery store, etc. The view of the beach was great and House was comfortable for 2 vacationing families with young kids. We opted to pay for the heated pool since it was April and the heater worked well. Owner responded quickly to questions via text.

The host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. The house is amazing, you don’t need to bring anything from your kitchen. It has tons of poop toys and beach gear. I would recommend this house to anyone! We will be back !

We spent most of our time on the back patio overlooking the beach with no obstructed views 🤩❤️. Owner was fast and helpful with all communication. Will go back!

We spent a long weekend at Star of the Sea and enjoyed every minute of it. The location was great with beautiful ocean views and direct access to the beach across the street. The house was clean and well equipped with everything we needed during our stay. We really enjoyed the large heated pool as well. The owners were extremely responsive and helpful before and during the visit. Would highly recommend this property to others!

This property was in the perfect spot. I was worried about it not being directly on the beach, but there is no home across the street in front of it so you have unobstructed views & can still hear the ocean. The walk is a very short walk across the street and then your toes hit sand. The house is a also only a few short blocks bike ride from ice cream—yum! And the house itself was set up and laid out beautifully. It was immaculate. And had so much outer porch space to sit and enjoy the beautiful Carolina weather. Also — their pool is amazing! Perfect for the whole family. We’ll definitely be going back!

We just returned from a thoroughly enjoyable week at Star Of The Sea. The house was very comfortable and very well equipped to accommodate the 4 adults and 2 children. Bunk beds for the kids, baby gates for safety, fully equipped kitchen, everything we needed.
We all, especially the kids, enjoyed the large pool. Access to the beach is right across the street and the ocean views from the windows and the upper deck are perfect.
The owner was very responsive when we had issues with the pool and helpful with questions we had during our stay.
A wonderful experience! We will definitely consider staying there again.`

Location was great, pool and deck were wonderful! Size of the home was perfect for us; 7 adults and 2 infants. Bedrooms and Beds were comfortable. Upper interior living space was great. The mgmt was awesome, professional and quick to respond! However a few improvements owner should consider:
1. Better cleaning in between guests and during off season
2. Ceiling fans were very dirty
3.Better dusting/vacuuming of furniture and bedrooms. Master bdrm phone on the night stand was very dirty and dusty, master bath needed a better cleaning.
3. Carpeting and upholstered furniture were dirty
4. Interior needs painted
5. Would be nice to have better front deck furniture besides 2 plastic rocking chairs.
The property looked a little tired and worn.
6. Side note: It would be nice if we didn’t have to put the sheets on the bed and if a starter kit for dish soap, dishwashing soap and laundry detergent were provided.
Again, great location and the mgmt was awesome!

We really enjoyed our stay. Spacious, plenty of room for group of 9 people. Nice big pool. Actually considering booking another week there next summer, so we would certainly love to come back. Great location on the island, close to the bridge, great views from the house since there is not a house directly across you get wide views of the beach and ocean. My main critique would be it is starting to feel slightly dated with some of the finishes and the paint on some cabinets/drawers is chipping away, but overall nice. Ice machine in the freezer barely works, had to keep buying bags of ice to put in the cooler. Other than that, it was absolutely wonderful.

We can't say enough about our family vacation. The property was perfect for the family - everything open and inviting along with a great pool. There were tons of toys and beach items that we really didn't need to bring anything. Communication with the owner was fast and handled any questions or needs that we have both before the trip and during our stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future.

Great family friendly stay at Holden Beach
We had a great stay at Star of the Sea. It was our first time at Holden Beach, and we really enjoyed the family friendly feeling of the beach and the house. It was so nice to be provided baby gates, a pack n play, and other things we needed for the kids. Loved the view from the top floor, the pool was great, and everything was working well. The manager was very responsive to our questions as well.
A couple things that could be improved: we had to take care of our recycling, had to wash and dry the towels on the last day, and had to put all dishes back completely (other rentals we've stayed at typically let you leave them clean in the dishwasher). It made the last day hectic getting out. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Star of the Sea
We enjoyed our stay at Star of the Sea. It is a beautiful house with great views of the ocean. The location was perfect to walk across the street to the ocean. We were very comfortable during our stay and enjoyed Holden Beach. We enjoyed the pool also. We highly recommend Star of the Sea and hope to return in the future.

Perfect family getaway.
The location is excellent- the views and the access to the beach were perfect. The house easily accommodated 4 adults and 3 kids. We loved having the option of swimming in the heated pool as well as the beach. The owner was quick to respond to questions. And we can’t say enough good things about Holden Beach itself.

Peaceful and relaxing vacation
This was our first visit to Holden Beach and it was exactly what our family was looking for. The island is beautiful with well kept homes making it a slow paced relaxing vacation stay. Everyone we met was very friendly. The Beach access was directly across the street and was very easy to go back forth with our small children as needed.
The house was amazing. Wonderful views of the beach/ocean from the top floor and also amazing star gazing at night. The private pool is heated and huge! The home is spacious and very well appointed. The home is decorated beautifully. The host was so nice and welcoming. She was very easy to communicate with and went above and beyond to make our vacation enjoyable.

Star of the Sea is a STAR!
This was our first visit to Holden Beach. We chose star of the sea after looking at several homes.
The location is perfect - not on the beach but just steps from the beach access. The view from the deck is spectacular!
The beach was great - water was perfect and the coffee shop just a short walk up the beach. We were there in late August and the beach was not very crowded. The weather was pretty close to perfect most days. There was always a breeze on the beach if it got a little sticky at the house.
The house had several beach chairs, sand toys, inflatables, a great kite and fishing rods. We used them all at one point or another during our stay. Do bring beach towels!
The pool was great - large, clean, nice deck with several lunge chairs and a table for al fresco dining. Our grandson (2 years old) took to the pool like a fish to water.
The house was clean and well stocked. Plenty of dishes, coffee maker (drip/cone filter), toaster, pots & pans and such in the kitchen & a bottle of wine! It was nice to arrive to a house that had an assortment of necessary paper products, not the usual "bare bones".
The upper level - kitchen, living dining was a great set up for our group. There were several games to enjoy during the week - a favorite was Pictionary!
It was nice to have all the bedrooms on the same floor as we had a toddler with us, so we all felt comfortable that we would hear him if needed. laundry is on this level also. Sheets and towels were as described. There is a pack & play & a cot also!

Excellent Family Vacation
We highly recommend this property for families!
The best things about this property are:
1. View: the lot across the street has only a single story house so view of the ocean is premium.
2. Walk to the beach: walkway over to the beach is right across the street.
3. Provisions: well-stocked kitchen, lots of extras for the kiddos (bed rail guards, bathroom step stool, inside and outside toys); nice gas grill
4. Pool area: big pool, deep enough for kids to have fun, shelf seating in the pool, nice wooden deck
5. Living area: Top floor living area provides great views. Plenty of seating for meals and socializing.
Some improvements could be made, but are minor and are not deal breakers for us to stay at this property again:
1. Additional shade (umbrellas or trees), and lounge chair seating at the pool.
2. Big deck on the front of the house is awesome, but very hot. Some kind of awning, umbrella, or pergola cover would be a welcome addition.

Great house on Holden Beach
Great house right across from beach. Big pool that the kids loved. Holden Beach is great because it’s really only residents that can goto the beach so it’s not crowded. The Star of The Sea has everything you need and a open view of the ocean (lot across street is empty so perfect view). Hosts were very responsive and everything went smooth.
