This stone cottage between Bonnieux and Lacoste is just what we were looking for in Provence for a family holiday. Clean and well-laid out house, expansive lawn, pool with a view, adjacent to vineyards, and walking distance to Lacoste. In the heart of nature: lavender and cicadas. Magnifique!

We had a wonderful week at Le petit moulin. The setting is gorgeous and very quiet and Julien is a great host, very helpful and friendly. Beautiful large gardens and well equipped kitchen. We hope to be back!

Tout à fait conforme au descriptif. L’emplacement est exceptionnel et la vue sur le village de Lacoste est un panorama dont on ne se lasse pas. La piscine est grande et super agréable. La maison est propre et bien entretenue.

Situation de rêve au pied de Bonnieux et Lacoste
Nous avons passé deux merveilleuses semaines au Petit Moulin. L’emplacement est fantastique au pied de Bonnieux et Lacoste. De la très belle propriété et de la grande piscine on a une vue fantastique sur Lacoste. Ancienne moulin restauré avec tout le confort nécessaire. Le jour comme la nuit un calme absolu au milieu de la nature. Nous serons ravis de revenir.

N'hésitez pas , la maison est très accueillante, avec du caractère et tous les équipements nécessaires tout en étant subtilement décorée. Beau jardin avec même un ruisseau, piscine limpide. Sans oublier un environnement particulièrement calme en pleine nature, avec vue extraordinaire sur le château de Lacoste. Propriétaire très sympathique, discret et disponible.

Une location conforme en tous points à l’annonce, en particulier une piscine magnifique et très grande. Le cadre est très bucolique sans être isolé, à 5 minutes du village de Bonnieux en voiture et de toutes les commodités. Un accueil très chaleureux de Julien très disponible et réactif. A recommender pour un séjour en famille à 4 ou 5.

Wonderful holiday in beautiful surroundings
We were welcomed by Julien, the host, who was very friendly and helpful. The property was very clean and had all the essentials available.
Due to the very warm weather when we were visiting the bedrooms upstairs were very warm. We asked for some fans and Julien kindly brought some round the same day for us to use in the bedrooms and downstairs.
The garden is very large and has amazing views all around. It perfect for eating with several tables and chairs in different areas. The heated pool was the perfect temperature and we enjoyed using it every day. Our 15 month old daughter loved the pool and the steps were great for her to walk along.
I would highly recommend this place to stay and the surrounding areas to visit, which are beautiful.

Very nice location, house is renovated and in very good condition. The garden is huge and offers apart from the wonderful pool many possibilities from various hideouts to sit to a sports area for the entire family.
The place was even better in reality than it looked like on the website. Our host Julien was very helpful and easy-going, thanks very much for the enjoyable week we had.

Lovely property in great location
Great location, very private in the midst of farmland and vines, but also very close to beautiful villages, the view of Lacoste is stunning. Large grounds with excellent pool, and plenty of room for our two children under four to run around. The house was very well equipped inside, and full of character outside. We had a couple of minor issues and Julien was quick to respond and solve them. Highly recommended for families wanting a quiet, but well located Provence base.

It is remote enough to feel really private but also conveniently close to the shops and market of Bonnieux (a 5-minute drive) and a large supermarket in Coustellet (a 20-minute drive).
The house is beautiful, the garden outstanding. The view from the pool across the fields to Lacoste is majestic, as are the huge plane trees that shade the house. One needn’t even leave home to be wowed by the beauty of Provence. Public paths to neighboring Bonnieux and Lacoste skirt the house and are well worth exploring—if you can drag yourself away from the pool!
The house’s interior is clean and elegant, comfortable without being fussy. And Julien is an ideal host. He welcomed us upon our arrival and answered my emailed questions promptly but otherwise left us to enjoy the beautiful property.
We had a truly wonderful vacation. We would return without hesitation!

Fantastic property. Lovely grounds and pool.
We have just spent a lovely week here with our three children. The property is delightful - well equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms and generally spacious. Lots of space outside too with great seating areas. Fantastic pool. The only negative was that as it was extremely hot when we were there, we could have done with a fan in each of the bedrooms.
Bonnieux itself is very pretty. We found the best restaurant for eating with children was the Terrace Bistro. Aix is definitely worth visiting as is Lourmarin.

Fantastic accommodation in a beautiful setting
We have just enjoyed a wonderful week. Accommodation is of a high standard and has been well thought out, you can tell the owner cares. The location is fantastic , a short journey to both Bonnieux and Lacoste. Julien is great nothing is too much trouble when needed. We certainly hope to return

Charming family-friendly & well-furnished house, super location for visiting neighbouring villages
Clean, well-kept and charming house on large property with a wonderful modern pool and a super view of hill-top village Lacoste.
All the amenities you could want (and more; there is, for example, an iron & ironing board) and owner Julien went out of his way to make our stay an enjoyable one, not only by leaving welcome bottles of wine but also purchasing a DVD player and an electric jug on our arrival as per our request.
Superb location, Julien's driving instructions to the property are spot-on and it is close to the small town of Coustelat which has an excellent supermarket.
We thoroughly enjoyed exploring the villages of the Petit Luberon (we would recommend in the Summer months to visit the villages by the days on which they have a market - each were a delight: we respectively went to the markets in Coustelet (Sundays), Gordes (Tuesdays), Menerbes (Thursdays) and Bonnieux (Fridays). Roussillon is also well worth a visit.
We flew into Marseille and therefore broke our drive to the property by having lunch in Salon de Provence, and on our return, doing the same in Aix-en-Provence, both worth visiting.
Temperatures at the end of August/beginning of September were in the low 30s (Celsius) so plenty of pool time was enjoyed!
Would highly recommend and would love to return.

Charming country home with wonderful views
We had a wonderful time at the Beautiful Bonnieux farm house. It was full of charm and character. The surrounding area and setting was lovely. The heated pool was a real bonus. It was very clean and Julien and his family were very gracious hosts. He was always available if we needed anything. We hope to be back soon to the Luberon and would love to stay there again. Amazing Summer Retreat!
This was the perfect place for a summer vacation with the kids. The grounds are beautiful and the pool has a stunning setting. The wide steps in the pool are perfect for kids to play on and the huge lawns and tree swings are a paradise for them! We had a lovely stay here and loved visiting the nearby towns for the markets, restaurants and bakeries. We will definitely be back!

Beautiful home in Provence
We stayed at "Le Petit Moulin" for 2 weeks during our trip to France this summer. It was, without doubt, the highlight of our vacation. We went to Provence with our 4 and 6 year old children and we couldn't have imagined a better experience. The house was very clean and tastefully decorated. We loved the tile floors, large windows, wooden beams, and the breeze that filtered through the house, even on the hottest of days. Julien, the owner, was kind and friendly. We missed our train and arrived later than expected and Julien met us promptly with the keys. We thoroughly enjoyed the arrival gift of wine made from grapes in the vineyards surrounding the house! What you can't see from the photos were the olive trees, vineyards, cherry trees, the sound of les cigalles, the incredible lighting and the feel of the warm, dry air. We did not go to restaurants very much because we couldn't imagine a more beautiful and peaceful place to eat than "Le Petit Moulin" with the views of Lacoste and Bonnieux from the backyard. Our children's favourite memory of France was Julien's father dropping off a bucket of freshly picked cherries from his tractor. We have told all of our friends that they must stay at "Le Petit Moulin" if they ever go to Provence and we dream of our next visit there.
