This place was awesome for our trip to Southern California with our kids and grandkids. Great location, wonderful house and back yard. It was comfortable, and had everything we needed. The hosts are very attentive and great communicators.

We stayed here while in town for our son’s wedding. We wanted a place that we could all gather but also provided enough space for everyone to have a little privacy. This home was perfect! The open concept kitchen and living area provided an indoor space for gathering when the weather was not ideal and the yard gave us the opportunity to spend together outside! The spa was a lovely 100 degrees and enjoyed by many in our group. Kevyn was great at check in with a quick tour. Bradley was an amazing host always in communication answering questions and checking in! We highly recommend this property!

Beautiful location in a quiet neighborhood! We had a multigenerational family group to celebrate a family wedding. Perfect set up for 5 families to gather and make wonderful memories. The kids loved the pool and the house had everything we needed and more. Hosts were wonderfully gracious and accommodating. We enjoyed this location and every minute of our time in southern California!

We have rented VRBO homes for many family vacations and they have all been very nice, but our 10-year-old grandson said before we left: "This is the best house we have ever stayed at!" It was fantastic. Two sons, their wives, children (ages 4, 3, 2, 1) joined us for our oldest son's Marine retirement. He, his wife and 10-yr-old son live about a 4-minute walk away. The post-ceremony celebration was at their house but they were able to visit us often during our stay. We had to baby-proof the property; told owner Bradley we'd try to get everything back to it's original location but highly unlikely; Bradley said not to worry. The property is beautiful and functional. We ate just about all of our meals either at the kitchen bar or outside by the pool. The pool was sooo much fun and convenient that we never made it to the beach! Closets contained pool toys, kid toys, kid floatie jackets for the pool and more. The bathroom arrangement just fit our needs; the master en suite, a Jack-and-Jill arrangement for two bedrooms and the third full-bath served a fourth bedroom and the living area. The kitchen is spacious and extremely well outfitted. Owner Bradley called before our arrival and texted at least once per day checking to see if we had questions, issues, needing anything ("Going to Costco..."), etc. He is, obviously, a very proud and hands-on owner.

Brad and his folks(Kevin and Colby) were very organized and the house was ready for all 8 of us. They took care of everything plus had wine, chips, crackers, and candy as gift when we got there. The house was extremely well stocked. Great introduction. Could not ask for more!’

The house was in a beautiful location, in a quiet neighborhood. Famous Fish Tacos just down the street. After every day of exploring we were able to come 'home' for a swim before settling in for dinner and the night. From here we were able to get to the beach (with surfing) in 10min, Legoland in 35min Disneyland in 40min, San Diego zoo in 55min and Universal Studioes took about 2hrs. We flew into San Diego which was very easy compared to LAX, and the drive is about an hour. Bradley was a wonderful host and gave fantastic recommendations on places to eat and visit. You can tell they really love their property, love the area and want others to enjoy their time while they are there. This was a great place to experience Southern California.

Bradley's home is perfect for those wanting a nice getaway with family and friends with an absolutely amazing pool and spa. The home has a lot of character and charm but is very well laid out for your time in San Clemente. Quick drive to the beach and easy access to just about anything you need. We will definitely be back and the owners couldn't be better! They communicate with you throughout to make sure you are having a great time. 5 Stars without a doubt!!!

This property is perfect for a family or mid-large sized group and we always try to find a place that accepts our dogs. From the pool to the incredible views this place is pretty perfect on a very quiet street 5 minutes from the trail. We surfed every morning chilled in the private resort style back yard and went out to eat close by each night. Brad is an exceptional host literally at your service 24/7. Great place great host 5 stars for sure! Wife, kids, Grandma everyone loved it we will be back soon.

We loved staying at this beautiful, resort-style home that was perfect for our family and extended family. The owner was very friendly, welcoming, and attentive, and the home was well-stocked with everything we needed. The pool, water-slide, and spa were a big hit with the kids. There were many, thoughtful extras to help make our stay special and memorable. We look forward to returning!

As long time VRBO travelers, we are always looking for a clean home in a great location... and we found it with this rental. From the moment we drove up the road and saw this home in an exclusive (and safe) neighborhood to how clean and well kept the home was, we were impressed! Bradley was very friendly and responsive, even though we didn't have any issues during our stay. While the weather was a bit cool, the pool and hot tub were warm, and the restaurants in the area were top notch. The best part about the stay... the comfy beds and linens and the unexpected but wonderful view of the canyon and ocean. Thank you Bradley and Rose!

This property was beautiful from the moment you drove up, and had amazing views, especially from the patio and Master Bedroom. For the kids and teens, the pool, water slide and spa kept them engaged throughout, while indoors we had plenty of space for our large group of 13 people, with alcoves and rooms to be together, or take a few minutes time apart. And the owners could not have been more attentive and accommodating; the most engaged owners we have ever worked with. I am sure you will enjoy your stay as much as we did!

Great pool, great views, great host! Great Fun! Bradley was a generous and kind host especially to my 97 year old father. Grandchildren absolutely loved the pool. Father enjoyed the expansive ocean views from the deck. A memorable 5 days. Definitely a 5* rating for our wonderful experience. The main house is one level which was great for our Dad. The library/bonus room to the left of the entrance is a cozy step down library with an emphasis of our U.S. Presidents. The expansive master suite also has a step down into the private sanctuary with its en-suite large walk in shower. This home is a wonderful retreat for a family to all be together. We had a wonderful experience with our sons and their families. We loved sitting around the table looking out into the back yard with our morning coffees and our BBQ dinners. Our family loved the house. The pool, view and backyard were amazing. The house is well equipped and conveniently located to everything you need to enjoy a great vacation. The host was generous and accommodating. Definitely recommend staying here if you have the chance.

We researched many ocean view close proximity to beach properties for our ocean loving family and landed on this property. From my initial outreach, booking process, information exchange leading up to our trip, and throughout our stay was perfect in every way. Brad, our host, went out of his way to make our family feel welcome every day. Our family loves the water and we are total foodies - as such the pool with slide, hot tub and kitchen were the epicenter of our stay. The neighborhood is tucked away up the hill, beautiful view of the Pacific, energizing morning walk to local spots such as Surfin Donuts! We will be back!!

My wife and I spent a long weekend at this fabulous property with two of our kids and their families (6 adults and 5 grandkids total). Great location and neighborhood, super close to beaches and everything San Clemente has to offer. Brad was an extremely attentive host and we are grateful that he shared his wonderful home with us for our family get together.

We stayed at this house for seven days with two families and young kids, and we loved it. The house is set in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with an excellent view. Our kids absolutely loved the pool (heated), which has a waterfall, a water slide, and a jacuzzi attached. They spent hours in the pool each day. The house is very comfortable and has all the amenities that we needed to cook and enjoy time together. We made several trips to nearby beautiful beaches and enjoyed coming back to the house for sunset cocktails. Would definitely stay here again.

We could not be more pleased as a family. We had a one-day window and a concerned budget when we found this property was available and with an unbelievable discount. My wife had her radar on this property for 6 months but it was always sold out. Now we know why. We already rebooked for when we have more time. Top 5 reasons to visit. 1. Kids paradise.......POOL POOL. POOL...SLIDE SLIDE SLIDE!!! 2, Spectacular view as advertised. 3. The host. Never seen anything like the welcome package we received. The staff is special as well. 4 Seclusion, privacy while still being so close to all the local beaches. 5. House is awesome, huge, older with a beach-style atmosphere. The kitchen is a cook's dream. The review that caught our eye was from S Wold and he ended it with an A+ FIVE Star rating. Our family would like to start our review with A++ for our experience. We extended for two days. First of all the hosts are so well connected with the community. They set up Sportfishing, golf, kids day (including a $100 gift card to Big Air trampoline center for our children), and a surf lesson for me. All arranged before our arrival. We have two young children so we limit our beach time and as Mr. Wold stated once you see the pool, it is so convenient. We still went to the beach but our time was dominated in the pool. The pool has a three-tier Baby Beach area before a child is in the regular pool area. We have a 31/2 and 2-year-old so this area was very comfortable from a safety issue. Dining well the owners publish SouthCoastMagazine we went online in advance to check it out. Bradley pointed us to two community jewels. First to Rocco's (Kid Friendly) and a superb cuisine experience. Chef Rocco made our children off the menu French Fries. We witnessed him slice the fresh potatoes in his friendly visible open kitchen. Second night Fisherman's restaurant on the pier where we enjoyed excellent lobster and halibut. But the real meal ticket is the sunset. It was a candy cotton strawberry night of clouds with Catalina Island having the sunset behind the Island. Our family will return to the Western White House, Roccos, and the Fishermans. We are both school teachers and let us tell you we needed this. Cheers LaTanya

House was large enough to accommodate our whole family and grandkids. Our plan was to spend time at the beach, however when seeing the backyard and pool everyone decided we didn’t need to leave. Owner couldn’t have been more accommodating!!! He was wonderful and always available to help with any questions we had. Would recommend this property as an A+

We recently stayed at the property with our large family. We were greeted promptly upon arrival and given a thorough tour of the property . We were also greeted with welcome treats for the kids and wine for the adults. The pool is amazing and our kids swam and played for hours and hours. The view from the balcony is stunning as well! The owners checked in frequently to ensure we had everything we needed and were comfortable. They were also quick to respond with any questions we had as well. The house was equipped with beach chairs, toys, towels and boogie boards for our beach excursions. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking in the area.

We had such a nice trip. What a great 4th!!! The host was very friendly and accommodating and we had a lovely happy hour getting to know the host. We were warmly greeted by Kevin and Bradley then welcomed with lovely wine and treats. The house is big and had plenty of space for our 2 families. The kids (ages 4-7) had a blast in the pool. It was the highlight of our stay. We didn’t want to cook (it’s vacation after all!) and were pleased there were plenty of takeout places around. If you do cook, there are plenty of ingredients, utensils, and kitchen equipment at the house. The kids stayed in the room with bunk beds, which had so many books for the kids to read. They had fun reading and coloring during down time, which was helpful for us parents. Bradley was quick to answer my questions about the pool heater and generously corrected the issue. The house was in a great location, and the neighborhood is beautiful, nice, and quiet. We went to Legoland and the SD zoo during the first half of our stay and found the drive easy except for some early evening traffic on the way up which was expected. We took the kids to Laguna Beach, and the current was way too strong. Next time, we will take Bradley’s advice and go to San Clemente Pier and the beach there. Looking forward to our next visit. We celebrated my dads 70th birthday this past weekend and it was a great house for a family gathering with a lot of space! The view and jacuzzi were perfect to enjoy a glass of wine in the evenings and the kitchen was great for cooking.

Well, we are too old college roommates, teammates, and best friends for 40 years. Every once in a while we like to get away drink some of the best California red wines, Pinot Noirs our favorite. The best one we shared was Cherry Pie (Pinot Noir compliments of the owner) and smoke cigars (outside of course). We found this Western White House online on a couple of different platforms and decided to book through VRBO. This is one of the most unique properties one will ever find in California. Perched on an acre overlooking the Pacific Ocean very rare with real estate costs. The home is also very unique inside the WesternwhitehouseSC web page show a little preview of it. The theme is actually a library with the history of United States Presidents, only in the library. The remainder of the home has a really cool array of different artists with a theme to each room. African, surf, children's animals, Plein air, Flower Fields, and several of the most attractive artful Palm paintings throughout the home. Most of our time was spent drinking our reds and smoking cigars but we did take some breaks to enjoy this phenomenal pool, big screens for sports viewing, and grilling on two different grills. LOL Downtown San Clemente is a cool vibe but also a lot more electrifying than it used to be. The restaurant scene is positively energized with an array of layouts for outdoor seating. They have developed a new culture in San Clemente for dining. Red Wine at Rocco's is a must. LOL It was a pleasant surprise to find the bottles of Pinot Noir and a couple of Montecristo and Cohiba cigars. This staff does their homework as we were gazing at a quarter moon in conversation we figured out the assistant to the owner had cleverly asked particular questions to find out what we liked. There were only two of us, we like a lot of room.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Brad was always very responsive and met us at check-in to walk through the property and show us how to use everything. He had fresh flowers, treats for the kids, wine for the adults and a fully stocked pantry with all the cooking supplies we needed. The kids really enjoyed the pool and water slide and the house was more than large enough for our party of 8. The location is in a quiet cul de sac that was close to town, the beach, and the freeway. Brad continued to be available during our stay and recommended a few local restaurants for us, a couple that made our short list. Brad went above and beyond and dropped off gift cards for the restaurants we were planning to visit during our stay. It was a very unexpected and welcome surprise. We would definitely stay again.

Brad and Rose were just incredible. From booking our stay all the way up to the check in and through the check out, the communication was AMAZING! We had two families with children as well as our parents stay and it was just a PERFECT home for each and every age group. Brad had great follow up and asked if we needed anything during our stay, and we did! We needed a speaker for music! He went and bought a bose and brought it right over with a bottle of wine for us. He also brought candy and snacks from costco for the kids! The house is mainly one story with a step here or there and has great views to the pool and outside from the kitchen, living room and dining rooms. The visual to the pool was important to us because we had 6 kids swimming at any given time. The house is fully stocked with towels, linens, paper towels and toilet paper. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you might need. The neighborhood is quiet and the view is STUNNING. We wouldn't have changed anything about our stay. It was perfection!
