The host was very easy to get a hold of, and very responsive and kind. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it was very comfortable and spacious to accommodate our large family even our lovely dog. I definitely would recommend and I most definitely will be staying here again, next time we visit Truckee. I honestly have nothing bad to say about our stay the home or the host. Thank you very much to the host for allowing us to stay in your home for a very memorable weekend for our family.

Spent 8 nights at this beautiful, spacious, well equipped townhouse! Primary bedroom with fireplace is very cozy. Living area is big enough for our family of 5 adults to comfortably relax. Convenient location to walk into downtown. Will definitely stay again when in Truckee.

This home is absolutely perfect in so many ways. There were 6 of us so we fit perfectly. The home is beautiful, comfortable and located in a convenient part of town. We were able to walk to restaurants or take a short drive to down town. It was snowing while we were there and snow removal was great. The owner Karin had impeccable communication from start to finish. This home is not furnished as a rental so we were comfortable watching TV and sleeping. We will definitely rent this place again.

We’ve stayed at this great townhouse three times and we’re going back again next year. Everything is shipshape and the location is ideal. You’re close to Lake Tahoe and just far enough away to lose the overcrowded tourist scene. And there’s the Blue Coyote Bar & Grill 150 yards from your door. Try the pizza!

I travel often for work and normally use vrbo and other rental sites instead of hotels. It’s rare to encounter a host and property that completely exceed my expectations. Karin was accommodating and communicative. The property was clean and well appointed — it felt more like a second home than a rental property as everything from the furniture to the dishes to the build materials were tasteful and high quality.
The condo is centrally located, but just off the beaten path enough to be away from the noise. The nearby park was in walking distance and perfect for the pups.
If you’re considering this place among others, drop the rest and book this now.

The house and the kitchen is well equipped and good location. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, while we visited around Lake Tahoe and Donner lake. Close to Truckee downtown for Truckee Thursdays, and walking to a nearby park with playground.

This townhouse really has everything you could need for a nice family vacation. The layout was perfect for our family of 5 - the master bed/bath, living room, kitchen, and half bath are all upstairs, and the other 2 rooms, bathroom/laundry room are all downstairs. We had plenty of room to spread out. The kitchen is well stocked, the master bedroom and bath are really nice - we loved the giant soaking tub, and the laundry room was a plus. There were 2 switch operated gas fireplaces - one by the master tub and the other in the living room, and 2 outdoor patios with chairs. Everything was very clean, all soaps, shampoos and conditioners were supplied, nice seating arrangements, great TV and stereo bar. I thought it was a little closer to downtown Truckee - it was about 1.5-2 miles - but that was totally fine. We would walk, had it been just my husband and I, but we were with 3 lazy teenagers, lol… Theres a golf course and the 50/50 Brewery within walking distance. I would definitely recommend this home to anyone looking for a nice place to stay in Truckee.

We had an amazing stay at the townhome. It was beautifully appointed, clean, well stocked, and very cozy! There is also a lot of privacy for families with teens given the two floor layout but also a great common area to be together to watch a movie or just talk. The master bedroom is so spacious and has a lovely bathroom with jacuzzi bath that really came in hand after a long day out! Definitely plan to stay again. Thank you so much!

We found this property perfect for our family for the weekend. Well cleaned, great organized binder for info. My boys quickly figured out the tv remotes but love the picture and guidance there! It’s a quick 5 mins to downtown Truckee shops and restaurants and over to Raleys for groceries. We cooked big breakfast and dinner and had everything we needed, pots, pans, colanders etc. we appreciated Kleenex, salt pepper and extra details to keep us comfortable! We used the pour over coffee but there is a regular pot and keurig available too. It’s a quick drive to Northstar for our ski day, Martis wildlife area to walk the dam road and get kids and the dog exercise and the park. Nice having the garage for overnight too. Master Bed was firm and comfortable and our kids said they slept great in the downstairs bedrooms too. Nice to have washer dryer on-site too.

Immaculately clean, enough room for our family of 5, quiet condo complex and perfect location! Easy check in and out, comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen. Will definitely stay here again for our next Tahoe ski trip!

Wow! What an amazing property. We had a getaway with some friends and all had a great time. We were all very comfortable and the place was well stocked with everything we could possibly need. We enjoyed sitting by the fire playing board games and watching movies. Great location just 5 min drive to downtown. And the host was very easy to contact and even offered to let us stay if we were unable to get home due to severe weather. Would definitely recommend!

From the moment we inquired about this townhouse to checking out, we had a great experience. All the 5-star reviews are warranted and the owner, Karin, is awesome to deal with. She's very responsive and easy to communicate with. We arrived a day later than planned due to the crazy storms but still had an amazing time. My husband, two children (ages 11 and 15) and our golden retriever had such a relaxing time here. We celebrated my son's 15th birthday and it was the perfect location... close to all the downtown Truckee restaurants and just a 15-minute drive to Northstar. The entire place is well stocked especially the kitchen. The fireplace in the master bedroom was so cozy and our entire family had lots of room to spread out. Our dog loved playing in the snow and going on walks in this neighborhood. They also had TiVo which is what we use at home so we were able to watch NBA games live. Go Kings and Warriors! Another plus was that because there was no one checking on on Sunday, Karin allowed us to check out later that day, which was nice since we arrived a day later. Thank you so much Karin for sharing your wonderful home. I'm already dreaming of coming back next season!

We are a family of 6 with 4 young kids and Karin’s house was perfect for us. Nestled in a quaint little neighborhood less than a mile from downtown Truckee, we were close to everything. We didn’t go out to eat much so can’t comment on that but this house is the best stocked rental house that we’ve ever stayed at! From spices to pots and pans to zip lock bags and the sharpest knife set I’ve ever had at a rental, you have everything you need if you plan to cook at home.
We came to ski at Northstar and the resort is conveniently located less than a 15 minutes drive away.
Karin was very accommodating - she made sure that we were completely taken care of, that everything was working at the house and even allowed us to stay an extra night at the last minute because we got snowed in!
We had a great time and would love to return for a future trip. We’d highly recommend this house!!!

Beautiful and spacious property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property was much larger than expected, with a huge main BR, clean and walkable to town. The check in experience was simple and Karin was easy and flexible to work with. We would absolutely stay here again given the opportunity.

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at the palisades condo. The condo was well appointed, clean and had everything we needed. It is located close to downtown Truckee as well as a grocery store. Neighborhood was quiet and easy to find.
