The property we stayed at was beautiful and convenient to attractions we enjoyed. Also the cabana club privileges were awesome.

Great place to stay. House was great for our family. The only issue was the mattresses in all of the rooms were uncomfortable. We couldnt get a good sleep. The owner shoild be investing in replacing the mattresses. Otherwise we would come back again.

Great canal property in great neighborhood
This property has been well maintained and has all the items you need to have a great stay. Our family enjoyed the pool and fishing in the canal. We had visits from manatee each day and spotted sting ray as well. It such a relaxing place to stay.

Very nice neighborhood
Home was in a nice peaceful neighborhood. Great for biking or walking. Home was a perfect size for 6 people. Pool was a great addition. Looks like there needed to another lounge chair as they had two cushions on top of another but when I removed one of them the one below had a rip so not sure. The house did need more cooking items like pots and cooking utensils. Also would recommend a garage door opener for tenants to have. Didn’t care for the Cabana Beach club. Has too many rules on what you can bring in. I couldn’t even bring in my water bottle. Also beach was super small.. Bar and food were good there, Definitely enjoyed my time at the house and the location. Will consider to rent in Key Colony in the future.

Fabulous!
This property is lovely, with a fabulous pool to cool off in. It is a duplex but we could not hear the family with small kids unless they were outside playing in the pool and we were out there too.
The only downside was that the beach at the cabana club was very small, but larger beaches are within a 5 to 15 min drive depending on your preference.
I also want to give a shout out to the property management. They were both responsive and super nice to work with. Would definitely rent this property and/or from this team again!

This house was the perfect place for a group of friends to spend a vacation. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, the kitchen was well supplied and we all loved the pool and deck area. The house was in a great location - close to restaurants and the golf course and we all enjoyed the cabana club. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. We would certainly rent this again if we return to Key Colony Beach!

Great property!
This house was the perfect place for a group of friends to spend a vacation. There was plenty of room for us to spread out, the kitchen was well supplied and we all loved the pool and deck area. The house was in a great location - close to restaurants and the golf course and we all enjoyed the cabana club. The property managers were very responsive and helpful. We would certainly rent this again if we return to Key Colony Beach!

Great communication, Awesome location, Clean house
Our family of 4 stayed for spring break and we enjoyed the property very much. Centrally located in Key Colony, quiet canal which was great for fishing! The house was clean & spacious. The property manager was very informative and helpful throughout the entire process. Only thing I’d like to bring to a young families attention is that sadowski causeway is a busy road!! The police officers patrolled regularly though!

Birthday getaway
Great home in a great location. Had everything we needed for the week. The pool was wonderful. Highly recommend the pool heater that made it even more enjoyable. Lots of marine life to enjoy. Home was very clean. Would stay again.

The is a nice quiet location with plenty to do. A five minute walk to beach, restaurants, golf and the numerous parks.

The Beautiful Keys
We had a wonderful time during our stay in Marathon! The house was just a described and looked exactly like the pictures! The pool was a wonderful place to cool off after a day on the boat. The manatees visiting us at our dock every evening was the family favorite! Simply turn on the water hose, point it into the canal and wait for the manatees to come by for a drink. Thanks for helping to make our vacation fantastic!

Property is great ! There were a few small things the queen size bed in the second bedroom was uncomfortable and noisy as well as the shutters rattling when the AC unit kick on in the middle of the night, my friends ended up sleeping in the twin beds in another room.
We did however enjoy our stay the property is close to everything but private, the Manatees visited everyday, the weather was superb and the pool was an added bonus - we spent alot of our time sitting on the dock, sunrise in the morning and the front yard you can see the sunset. Very close to 2 dining establishments and Sunset Park!!!

Pool is waist deep & a nice gradual depth up to an adult’s neck. Clean, plenty of room & has all the essentials. Walked to Havana Jack’s which is a beautiful bar/restaurant on the water.

Fantastic House In Marathon!
Our family of 5 (4 plus Grandma) stayed here for a week while on our Florida Keys vacation and loved it. Marathon is the perfect location to stay because it’s 1 hour to Key West and 1 hour to Key Largo and there’s so much to do around it. The house sits in a canal in Key Colony Beach which was a unique and quiet location and had 3 bedrooms to accommodate us all. It was great to have our own kitchen (Publix and Winn Dixie are nearby) and 2 bathrooms plus a washer and dryer. But the best thing of all was the fantastic pool right out the back door and on the canal. If we ever come back to the Keys we will definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Home in Key Colony
We love the Key Colony area as this is our 5th vacation staying here. This is a beautiful home, it was very clean and had everything we needed for a wonderful week in the keys. This was our first time staying on this side, and I must say I like the other side better. Mainly due to having to come all the way through Vaca Cut and back around the Atlantic ocean side to get to the back of the home to dock the boat. Also because the house is on the causeway you can't park your boat trailer, which was inconvenient and the additional $50 to park it in the city lot.
Leslie and her staff were very nice and helpful. We had a pool issue when we first checked in and it was addressed immediately and then the coffee maker died and they delivered a new within a few hours. We will be booking again with Leslie for our future Florida Keys vacations.

Key colony in Marathon
We had a wonderful time! We loved the house and having the private pool was so wonderful! We loved seeing the manatee come up to the dock. We did not complain but there were two less televisions than we thought & no wash cloths. We also thought we’d have to buy beach towels when we arrived but there were plenty so that was a nice surprise! I would be happy to stay here again! The kitchen was huge and well stocked. The unit was spacious and we loved the layout! We had so much fun!

Hard to deal with
We have rented the same house for six years. Had to find a pet friendly this time. The house is great but we will not rent through a property manager again. Our first and last! The dock needs major repairs unless you have an offshore boat. If you have as we do a bay boat it’s terribly rotted out when the tide is low. There is minimal privacy with the neighbors due to the four foot privacy fence. It may as well not be there. Tried to get the staff to understand that after the previous tenants were gone I just wanted to be able to tie our boat to the dock. You would have thought we were asking to check in? Not sure why these people can’t just put electronic locks like everyone else does so you don’t have to go to the office to get keys and then take them back when you leave. Not an easy task with a truck and trailer. Seemed to me like a total control issue that we have never had to deal with before. We won’t deal with the headache again. Going back to what we know we will make other arrangements for the dog before I deal with a property manager again. We will continue to rent from owners only.

If You Are Bringing Your boat, This Is Your House!!
We just returned from the Best week in the Keys we have ever had! Because we bring our own boat with us, the dock, and particularly the location relative to open water, is almost more important to us than the house. This Duplex has it ALL! Fantastic dock, just six houses away from the Bait Shop where you can grab anything you may need, gas up, and go. It was an easy ride from the boat ramp to the home, one street away from the trailer lot where you store your trailer, and right in the heart of Key Colony Beach. Four days in a row of great fishing, cooking our own catch each night. We have come to the Keys twice a year for the past 15 years, and this was our very first time staying in KCB, and this is where we will stay from now on. The front of the home has plenty of parking for your vehicles, the back has a fantastic private lap pool, gas grill, and plenty of seating. The inside was clean, neat and inviting. We stayed for the week of Thanksgiving, and there wasn't anything I needed as far as kitchen utensils except the Turkey! The added bonus of membership into the Cabana Club was icing on the cake. Our kids met friends at the pool and the teenagers swam in the ocean beside the pool...while the adults enjoyed the Full Bar and friendly and fantastic service. We cannot say enough about our stay! Would definitely stay again. And again. If I had to find any "fault" in this rental, I would just say having access to a couple bicycles in the garage would have been fantastic. (Oh, and yes, there is a large 2-car garage with an extra freezer in there.) Definitely bring or rent bikes as KCB is nicely situated for a little walk, run, bike. You won't be disappointed with this Rental!

Spotlessly clean and comfortable home
Arrived late in the evening so it would have been nice to have the keys in a lockbox by the front door so we could go straight to the house. However the rental office was only a short drive so not the end of the world. House spotlessly clean and plenty of towels and spare bedding if required. Crockery and cutlery fine but the pot holders and dish towels need replacing. Also missed having a kettle to boil water for a cup of hot tea. The pots and pans need replacing, those we found were in pretty poor condition. Having said that the pool was a great addition to cool off in and the sun beds were really comfortable. The lounge seating was really comfortable and we loved the rocker! Great to have Cabana Club included, we love the pool and beach down there. All in all a comfy home from home.

Relaxing, beautiful, great location
My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Beautiful accommodations- clean, very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We brought our boat down- so convenient to have a dock and there was a marina at the end of the canal- so easy to fill up, get bait and ice for our fishing and snorkeling outings. The swimming pool was great. Quiet and beautiful neighborhood. The management staff was friendly, very responsive. We definitely be staying here in the future.

Awesome home in Key Colony with quick access to gulf/Atlantic through Vaca Cut.
We loved our stay in Key Colony at P62. This house was larger than it appeared in pictures. We slept 4 adults and 3 children. The dock space was adequate for 2 18-19ft boats and access the the gulf/Atlantic was easy through Vaca Cut. 33rd Street Boat Ramp was about a 20 minute boat ride away. Sombrero reef was about a 20 minute boat ride as well. The house and pool were clean, grill worked, fish cleaning station was nice and rooms were adequate. We will be looking to book again.

The place was perfect for our family of 6. Plenty of space etc. only issue was lack of convenience items in the unit. Only 1 garbage bag, no soap and no extra toilet paper. Seems a little under furnished

The house is always well kept along with everything you need to have your home away from home.
This home has all you want for that tropical get away with amenities in the house and nearby. My wife and I have returned to this house for the past 3 years. Having the convenience of your own pool and cooking on the grill makes for great entertaining with your friends and family on your stay. The canal has plenty of wildlife to see from pelicans to the local friendly manatees. The house is always well kept along with everything you need to have your home away from home. KCB is quite and the neighbors are friendly along with being in proximity of dining options, tourist spots, and becoming your own castaway.

Great property....Awesome location!
My husband & I rented this house along with 2 other couples. We stayed for a week. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us.
THE COMMUNITY:
The property is located in a nice area which is very quiet & very safe. The speed limit in the entire area is 25 mph. There is a police station alomst directly across the street & the police are driving around constantly. The people in the area are very friendly. We went for a walk every morning & everyone you saw they said hi. They have a walking lane on the side of the street with 10th of mile markers so you know how far you have walked. There is a park in the community for residents which is very nice to watch the sun set from. There is also a post office, liquor store, gift shop, boutique, coffee house & a few restaurants in the community within walking distance.
THE PROPERTY:
The house is located on the main street as you enter Key Colony Beach but you would never know it. It is very quiet. We stayed in the master bedroom which is on the street side but never heard anything going by at night to wake us up. The beds were very comfortable. The house is very well maintained & was very clean when we arrived. We did have a couple of mminor maintanace problems while we stayted. I called the rental company before hours & as soon as they opened they called & the maintanance person "Mark" was there by 9:30. He is a very nice, friendly,& professional person. He fixed our few minor problems very quickly. The pool was perfect size for the 6 of us. The pool people came while they were there to check the water & refill the pool. They also were very nice. The kitchen was well stocked & the grill was clean & worked well.
THE AREA:
Key Colony Beach is located right off of RT 1. There is a Winn Dixie & Publics for food stores, a couple of banks, a Kmart, CVS, Walgreens within driving distance as well as a bunch of boutiques, boat rental & bait shops. Just to name a few. The house is located about an hours drive from Key West & a 2 hour drive from Miami.
I would recommed this house as a rental. I would also rent this house again. We enjoyed our stay!

Visitor from the UK
We are return visitors to Marathon and have previously stayed in high quality accomodation but this house was the best ever! The property was spacious, beautifully decorated, well equipped and the location fanastic. My family loved the swimming pool and the fact that we were able to dock the boat that we hired without any problems.
Key Colony beach is a beautiful area to stay and sitting on the dock at night as the sun went down was perfect!
We are very much a fishing and boating family and we loved the fact that the house accomodated this with a bait freezer and cleaning station on the dock!
Marathon sells itself as a place to spend holidays but this property made our stay extra special! We would not hesitate to recommend the property to other people. Six people can stay here very comfortably.
