The house was very clean and comfortable for our family of four. It was well stocked with needed supplies. Nice deck with a bbq grill. Great location very close to Tanglewood, Lenox snd Stockbridge. We all enjoyed our stay there.

This property has a great location and lives up to the pics and description in its listing. The only surprise for us was that the entrance you can drive to is around the back of the house, and 1 level below the main floor where you enter the house. So you have to climb about 10 steps to get from the driveway up to the entrance door. I'd advise anyone who has difficulty with stairs to check with the owner for more info. He's super responsive and helpful.

This Stockbridge Cape is very comfortable and the layout is perfect. It is near everything: Tanglewood, sightseeing excursions, hiking trails, restaurants, and good groceries. Jeff, the owner, is very quick to answer any questions. Our week in the house was great and we will plan to stay here again in the future.

Absolutely loved this home. Perfect location- close to Kripalu, hiking, fishing, and town. Everything we needed to enjoy our time in the vacation was provided. The owner was very responsive to all inquiries. We plan to come back.

The Stockbridge Cape is in a great location , has lovely views and has basically everything you need for a relaxing stay. We went to a performance by the Berkshire Opera company and visited some of the “Gilded Age” summer cottages that the super rich built in the early 1900’s (the Mount, Edith Wharton’s home, Ventfort Hall, built by JP Morgan’s sister). The Clark museum is in Williamstown- a bit of a drive but well worth it and that property has great hiking trails. Of course, the Norman Rockwell museum is right nearby as is Tanglewood. We food shopped at Guido’s (the one in Pittsfield is closer) and what a joy for us city people to grill a fresh piece of fish on the deck! One caveat is that entry and exit requires walking a set of stairs off the deck, but that didn’t bother us, just thought I would mention. Jeff, the host was friendly and responsive to questions. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay. It started with the owner who is super responsive, easy to deal with and helpful. The house itself is cozy and comfortable. Appreciated all the basics supplies (extra sheets towels, laundry detergent, oils, spices, napkins paper towels) in the house and how centrally located the house is (10-15 mins from Lenox, Great Barrington and Lee). My only complaints (and this is me being picky) is that the room with twin beds (kids room) had sheer curtains, so it was hard for them to sleep in and there weren't a ton of serving dishes and bowls in the kitchen, BUT I would certainly recommend this house to anyone!

A very pleasant updated, clean house in a great location for tanglewood, Jacob's pillow, walks etc. in the Sturbridge area. Plenty of miscellaneous supplies included as well as linens and towels. Well stocked kitchen also. Recommended for sure.

Perfect location
My brother and his family stayed with us and it was a great set up for 2 families. The house was clean and had all that we needed to make our stay comfortable. As others have mentioned, the hosts were very responsive. Perfect location for exploring all the best that Berkshire county has to offer!

Great stay in Stockbridge
It was a wonderful week in Stockbridge staying at Jeff's spot on Interlaken Rd. What a great location relative to Stockbridge, Lenox, and easy driving distance to Williamstown, Mt Greylock, and Great Barrington. Kripalu is a super easy 3 minute drive up 183. Jeff was a fabulous host with excellent communication throughout the whole process.

Perfect home for our thanksgiving holiday. House was super clean and the owners went above and beyond to accommodate our holiday booking and requests. Great quiet walking paths in the neighborhood for us and our dogs.

Memo
Our stay was great. Took in the sites of the area, restaurant (excellent), Norman Rockwell Museum great, weather was good except for one rainy day, went to movies. Love the fall folliage until rain came but we made it. We were 6 seniors so steps were a little bit of a problem but the exercise was good. Would recommend. Thank you Jeff and Chrissy.

Beautiful Berkshires Get-a-way!
My sisters and I enjoyed spending time together at the Stockbridge Cape and found the house and location perfect for the 4 of us. Communication with the property owner was wonderful. They generously offered a more flexible check in and check out time and even offered to mail a few items back to me that I left behind. We spent a glorious day at Kripalu and loved exploring the villages of Lenox and Stockbridge. The Norman Rockwell museum and eating at Once Upon anTable in Stockbridge were also wonderful. A great little house in a great spot- we hope to make it an annual sister’s event!

Very clean , plenty of room for the five of us. Great deck to sit on. THe location was amazing. close to everything. Host was responsive. House well stocked ( but does need a few things in the kitchen) Would go again!

Property is perfectly located for Tanglewood, Shakespeare, strolling about Lenox & Stockbridge, et all. Clean as can be, and twin beds in two rooms work well for independent guests.

December in the Stockbridge Cape
This is such a lovely home and the owners are so accommodating. I received feedback to all of my emails promptly and they took action with every one of my requests. They provide all linens (sheets/blankets/comforters, towels for bath and kitchen), as well as extra toiletries, hand soap, toilet paper, etc. They even provided a pack n play and a baby gate! There is so much to do, without leaving the property, between playing in the yard and walking to nearby sites. The view from the home is also really beautiful...the sunrise over the mountains in the distance. We enjoyed the wood burning fireplace too! My entire family agrees that we would love to return in the future!

We enjoyed staying at Jeff's house. The house was arranged for a pleasant and comfy stay. The kitchen was well stocked with staples in the refrigerator. Very considerate. The rest of the house was cozy and we enjoyed ourselves.
The location is wonderful - close to Lenox and really all the Berkshire communities.

We had a wonderful time. The house is beautiful and so comfortable with every convenience. The owners thought of everything to make a stay here pleasant. They were quick to respond when working the TV became too confusing. The location could not be better. All areas of interest are just a short drive away. Though the foliage had not yet peaked, it was still such a peaceful and beautiful area that we were not at all disappointed and hope to return.

A Great Time Was Had By All!
My sisters and I had a wonderful time at this vacation house! It suited our needs perfectly...a dining room table with 6 chairs, where we sat for hours catching up. The location was very convenient as well...close to Stockbridge's charming main street with its many restaurants and lovely stores, the Norman Rockwell Museum, and many other local sites. We recommend it highly.

Home, Sweet Home
Myself & my 2 travel mates had a most pleasurable time in our Stockbridge Cape. The beds were comfortable and the house was well stocked with the essentials like paper towels, napkins and trash bags and the kitchen was very well stocked with pots, pans, knives, dishes and everything else. There were plenty of clean towels & sheets, too. The deck was so relaxing. We look forward to returning next year.

Nice House near Tanglewood
This four-bedroom home is a very comfortable place for families to stay in the Berkshires. The owner, Jeff, is helpful and gracious and supplies towels, toiletries, some food staples, etc. We couldn't have asked for more.

Jeff’s house is in a great location, is clean, well stocked and very comfortable!
Communication with the owner, Jeff, was easy and positive. We asked.if we could bring our pup along and he was most agreeable. The house can accommodate 7 adults easily. Beds were comfortable, back deck was perfect for having breakfast and a barbecue. Tank for gas grill was empty when we arrived, but a call to Jeff’s sister remedied that. She came within the hour with a new, full tank for us. Tanglewood was less than two miles down the road as was the Norman Rockwell Museum. Great restaurants and hiking trails nearby. A winner!

Great house, great location
This is a large and comfortable house, and the owner and manager are great hosts! I was very appreciative of their quick response to the difficulty we had in getting the TV adjustments to work, and also touched by the thoughtfulness that went into the provisions they made available - little things like toiletries, or aluminum foil and saran wrap, ketchup and mustard, etc. There were plenty of linens and towels, and equipment in the kitchen, lots of comfortable space for the time we had 7 people overnight. We had no difficulty with parking a number of cars, enjoyed the deck, and had some nice walks along Shore Drive. Location is extremely convenient. My greyhound had a great time! I can highly recommend this house.

Family gathering in the Berkshires
We had a weekend stay at the Stockbridge cape for a family gathering and couldn't have been happier. Convenient location just minutes from Tanglewood, downtown Lenox and Stockbridge plus the Stockbridge Bowl. We enjoyed kayaking in the morning an event at Tanglewood in the early afternoon and a BBQ on the deck after all of that. The home is spotless and well appointed. Adults relaxed on the large deck enjoying beverages while the children took advantage of the large well manicured back lawn for wiffle ball and tag. This house exceeded our expectations and the only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer!!!

I stayed with my husband and 3 sons in this house for Memorial Day weekend. The house was very clean and comfortable and Jeff the owner was nice and very responsive. We had dinner at Alta at Stockbridge, five minutes from the house, it was excellent.

Rented this house for the weekend with two other couples for a friends wedding. It was very clean and had all the needed accommodations. Jeff was a pleasure to work with. It's close to shopping. We're already talking about coming back!

We really enjoyed our stay. Our trip was full of peace and serenity. Jeff Pratt, the owner is awesome. He is a really nice guy. We stayed because my son graduated from Williams College! We had a family of six, and it was more than enough room. The house was immaculate and fully stocked. Jeff provided any and everything we needed. The location of the property is awesome and convenient. The waterfall and pond in back of the property are worth seeing. The Norman Rockwell Museum is a must see! My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer!! I give Jeff and the house an A+.

My husband and I stayed at Jeff's place for a few days while visiting family. We are both from Berkshire County and needed a quiet place to stay with our 10 month old. This house was perfect. Being from the Berkshires I can happily say this home truly is at the center of it all. I met up with a high school friend for drinks in Lenox, relaxed on the front porch of the Red Lion Inn, took in the sites of the Stockbridge Bowl, all with great convenience of where we were staying. The laundry room in the basement came in very handy with a 10 month old. The house was spotless and homey. The wifi works great and you have cell phone service! A rare luxury in Stockbridge! We will definitely be back!

I stayed at Jeff's place with five women friends for a writers retreat and we really loved it. It's large with plenty of separate rooms so you can separate and come back together. The kitchen is a perfect size and in very good working order. Nice views and a great place to take walks on roads barely traveled by cars, yet close to Stockbridge and Great Barrington if you want to go out.
Most of all, Jeff was a gracious, easygoing host, friendly without being intrusive and no long lists of rules. No drama at all; the house was as described and a good price. Highly recommended!

We stayed for a long weekend as a birthday getaway, and arrived to a spotless house complete with a bottle of wine waiting for us. The wonderful home has plenty of space for a larger group, but is cozy even for two. We ended up cooking a lot of our meals in the well equipped kitchen, not to mention making use of the grill on the deck. However, we still managed to make it to a few of the places that Jeff and Chrissy recommended in town, which we all fabulous. Chrissy's attention to detail made our stay wonderful and was quick to respond to any of our questions. Thanks for the wonderful place to stay, we can't wait to come back again!
