We have gone to OIB for the past three summers with close friends and their kids. This was our favorite house and spot to date! The house is conveniently located a short walk from the beach and you can see the ocean from inside, outside and up above. It’s also an easy quick drive to OIFC/putt putt. The pool in the backyard is a generous size and our combined five kids had a blast using it. We loved the thoughtful decor - it is a heavenly chill vibe and felt like home. Rachel is an AWESOME host. Quick to reply and thorough directions for the house and helpful recommendations for your stay. We are already looking forward to a return trip next LBD! Thank you so much!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Three generations of a blended family celebrated 75th Birthday of Grandpa. Children loved the pool, hostess loved the well equipped kitchen and our grillmaster went to town on grill. All guests very comfortable with sleeping arrangements and private bathrooms.

This is our second summer in Ocean Isle Beach and this house was fantastic. It had everything we needed for 2 families with kids. The location was perfect. Rachel was great with communication.

This was our first time to Ocean Isle. It is a cute little town! Our blended family of “kids” age 10-24 really enjoyed our time at this house. Shower time was easy as every room had its own full bathroom. The kitchen was well stocked in surprising ways (multiple veggie peelers that actually worked, various measuring cups and spoons) the only thing you need to buy/bring is food storage containers. There were some spices, salt and pepper, olive oil, PAM, and coffee filters there, as well as hand soap in every bathroom. We left dish detergent and laundry detergent, so pay it forward for the next guest 😊
There were tons of beach toys and boogie boards for the kids, as well as beach chairs in varying conditions. I brought a few from home, but we probably used 4-5 from the house also.
You do need to rent towels and sheets. I couldn’t get anyone to answer/call back from Angie’s linens, so I used A&A. The beach towels were terrible, but otherwise the linen service was good. I found a website for Angie’s linens afterwards, so try placing an order that way.
We also rented golf carts for use on the island and that was a great decision! The island is very golf-cart friendly and the closest beach access to this house has a parking lot for golf carts only.
We enjoyed our time at this house.

This house was perfect for our family of adult children. Two living areas gave privacy and we loved that each room had its own bathroom. The location was great- close to everything and a short walk to the beach. Communication with the owner was fantastic and she was very helpful with local recommendations.

We really enjoyed our stay at OIB! The house had everything we needed for our Mother’s Day Weekend. The kids loved the pool and we loved how close we were to the sound to fish and beach to hang out and walk. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the pots and pans we needed to cook meals. Loved all the seating for our family and kids. Rachel was the perfect host. Very quick to respond to any questions we had and get anything we needed. Highly recommend this property and would love to rent again! Thank you!

A beautiful spacious house close to everything!
We really enjoyed our stay at OIB! The house had everything we needed for our Mother’s Day Weekend. The kids loved the pool and we loved how close we were to the sound to fish and beach to hang out and walk. The kitchen was well stocked and had all the pots and pans we needed to cook meals. Loved all the seating for our family and kids. Rachel was the perfect host. Very quick to respond to any questions we had and get anything we needed. Wonderful getaway
We enjoyed a relaxing 3 night stay at this beautiful home. The accommodations were clean and the layout was great. With 2 adults and 9 teens, a big reason we chose this property was for the two living rooms. It worked out well for our group. It is just a short walk to the beach and the deck views were wonderful. Communication with the owner was easy and pleasant. When we need a house this size again, we will definitely see if this home is available to rent first.

A Family Vacation For the Books!
We had an ah-mazing time at this beautiful home. The location was perfect, a short walk to the beach, and the layout of the home worked wonderfully for our extended family. We loved that there were some pool toys and floats for the kids and we walked for ice cream and to the park one day, which wasn't far at all. The pool was also saltwater which we loved. The last thing I'll add is that Rachel was so helpful, she had the pool guys come out to check the heater and lights come out the next day when I emailed her about them. Our time here was perfect, great memories and we definitely recommend for anyone looking for a laid back vacation in beautiful Ocean Isle.

Wonderful ocean view retreat
Just returned from our vacation at this amazing ocean view home. It is beautifully furnished and allowed for a relaxing vacation with my husband, nieces, mom and inlaws. There are many great amenities to boast (well stocked kitchen with dishes/bowls/pans/platters/etc to prepare meals), beautiful views from the various decks, two living room areas, comfortable furniture inside and out, an amazing "widow's walk" roof deck that allows 360 views of the Intercoastal, Pier, Ocean and stars.
It's just a short walk (2 blocks) to the beach access that also offers golf cart parking if you choose to rent one. We LOVED the salt water pool and never want to swim in chlorine again. They offer the option to purchase heat for the pool, but the air temperature was warm enough where we didn't need it. It's also situated perfectly in the back yard to soak up the sun, but also there is shade seating under the upper decks/carport. We loved grilling out on their large grill and eating our meals on the upper kitchen deck while enjoying the sea breezes all week. The house also features an outdoor shower, numerous beach chairs, body boards, etc.
The owners and their maintenance team are amazing. They are great communicators and resolved some minor issues (smoke detector replacement) promptly. We were sad to go and look forward to another stay!

We were so LUCKY to grab this property when someone had to cancel! This was our first time to OIB and we are hooked. This house is in the PERFECT location!! Easy walk to the beach, ice cream, and shops! House was clean and well equipped! We had the perfect amount of space and loved spending time on the porches watching the waves. Pool was a great added bonus when we needed to cool off after a day on the beach. Rachel was in constant contact with us and we can’t wait to rent from her again! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Amazing
The place was amazing, and just what we were looking for. It was only a short walk to the beach, but we found it hard to even want to leave the place. The pool and porches were great for lounging and hanging out and the kitchen had every appliance and dish you might need or want. Rachel was responsive and super helpful. 1000% recommend.

Great location and house!
Great location and house! If you have tweens or teens then having two living rooms is a huge bonus. Kitchen is a good size and well equipped for your cooking needs. The ice machine downstairs is so nice and helps when packing coolers for the beach. We had a wonderful vacation and look forward to next summer’s family beach week!

Oyster Festival Weekend
We had a great time staying here as the Oyster Festival Committee. It was convenient to the Oyster Festival site and with five bedrooms and bathrooms we could all get the needed space and rest while not on festival grounds. Great views of both the intracoastal and the ocean. We planned a lot of meals in and the kitchen had everything promised. We also had a small problem after the storm and the owner sent someone over immediately which was fantastic. I would recommend to anyone.

Great stay!
We loved staying at this house! Everything was very clean and we had plenty of room and bathrooms for every couple to have their own space. The beach was a short walk and was convenient. We will absolutely be back!

Great option for large family
We had an amazing stay, arriving just 2 days after Dorian. The owner was proactive and very quickly resolved the one minor issue we experienced. The house is nicely decorated and furnished. My only suggestion would be to add/replace some of the patio furniture on the decks. We enjoyed the pool everyday and the West End location was perfect for us. Thanks for a great vacation!

Great house for families!
This house was great for our family of 10. It had more than enough beds and amenities. The pool was an added bonus and the kitchen was a great size for us to all eat dinner together. The owner was great to work with as well. Very accommodating and responded quickly. Would definitely stay here again.

The perfect family vacation
We had the best time at OIB! The weather was perfect despite a few windy days. The setup of the home was ideal for our young family with lots of bunk beds options. The home is full of ocean views with has many great rooms and decks to gather and enjoy all it has to offer. We spent a lot of time in the pool and had an easy walk to the beautiful beach. The kids love the local park and ice cream shop which are both a quick walk from the house. Each night we would watch the sunset from the crow’s nest. We can’t wait to return next year.
