Unser 4.000 Quadratmeter großes Haus befindet sich knapp 2 Hektar groß und verfügt über 4 Schlafzimmer und 3,5 Badezimmer. Es liegt nur 1,6 km vom Durango Mountain Resort (Purgatory) entfernt.
Little Cascade Creek verläuft neben der Unterkunft und ist nur 10 Gehminuten vom Columbine Lake entfernt. Das Haus befindet sich auf einem stark bewaldeten Grundstück, das Privatsphäre und Abgeschiedenheit bietet. Es gibt auch ein paar kleine historische Bergbauhütten (unbesetzt) auf dem Grundstück, die zum Charme beitragen.

Die Garage wurde gerade in ein Spielzimmer umgewandelt, das eine Tischtennisplatte, einen 46-Zoll-HD-Fernseher mit Apple TV und PS3 mit mehreren Spielen sowie Brettspielen usw. und ein ausziehbares Queensize-Sofa sowie ein zweites Hauptschlafzimmer mit komplettem Badezimmer enthält. Das Loft mit Blick auf den Hauptwohnbereich verfügt über 2 Einzelbetten. All dies macht das Haus perfekt für mehrere Familien.
Das Haus wurde 2014 komplett möbliert und ist komplett möbliert und mit Bettwäsche, Handtüchern, Kochgeschirr und Küchenutensilien ausgestattet.

Nice house 30 minutes outside of Durango.Bedrooms nice. Spacious.On our last night the hot water stopped working but I called and maintenance was there to fix it within an hour or so! Would definitely stay again!

Overall an amazing experience!!

The house was actually nicer than the photos. Although it's not a huge house, we had plenty of room for everyone (14 guys) to hangout on the main floor because of the open floor plan and high ceiling. Between the couches in the living area, the large dining table, and the bar stools around the kitchen island, there is more than enough seating and space for 15 adults without feeling like you are on top of each other. The basement is also a nice large space.
The best part by far is how close Purgatory resort is. Being able to wake up 45 minutes before the lifts start and, without rushing, comfortably make it in line before they start taking people up is an awesome amenity. We also went up to Silverton Mountain to ski which was only a 45 minute drive.
We can in the last week of March, and even though 5-10 minutes away from the cabin there was next to no snow, when we got the the cabin there was still multiple feet of snow all over which was awesome to see. The cabin is tucked around the back of a steep hill, so it feels very secluded and private even though it's right off the highway.
The Nugget Bar being within walking distance was a great feature too. Lot of fun was had in that place.
Overall, especially for the price compared to other places, this is an incredible place to stay. I will definitely be looking to book this place again the next time I want to ski in this area.

Large cabin with plenty of room for a large family/group. We had 2 families with teenagers and there was plenty of room for privacy and a large area downstairs for games and recreation. We loved the hot tub experience after long days of skiing. The only problem we had was we were unable to get the upstairs television to work. The Apple TV remotes wouldn’t work so we had to just air drop our own movies from our iPad to watch the TV. Definitely need 4WD vehicle if you are visiting during the snow season. Overall it was a good experience.

We had a great 5 night stay. Plenty of room for everyone. Kids played in the snow and the ski resort is only one mile away. Be sure to bring 4WD and snow chains. House had everything we needed to cook all our meals.

The house has everything we need. We required 2 space heaters, which helped before the house warms up.

Family members from Illinois and Missouri joined us to experience the beauty of SW Colorado. The mountain home easily accommodated all 13 of us. The home was spacious, clean, and nicely appointed with amenities such as a hot tub, barbeque grill, and ping pong table. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Property was more than expected. Beautiful place to stay with three floors for multiple rooms to enjoy and be together but also have your own space. Love the mountain neighborhood that is located in. We stayed in June and there was still some snow on the high mountains but it was very cool and green all around.

This house was perfect for the kids and adults.It was super close to Purgatory resort and provide space and relaxation for all when not skiing. Our grandchildren loved playing in the snow or downstairs and everyone enjoyed the hot tub!!!

Great location, well-appointed, copious spaces, and plenty of beds for every head. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and took advantage of all the luxuries afforded by this wonderful home. Property management was excellent and easy to communicate with. One caveat; when they say 4-wheel drive or all-wheel with snow tires or chains is required in winter months, they mean it! The driveway is tricky and doesn't get much sunshine. A slight trade-off for all the fresh snow we received while staying. We will book again!

The cabin was nice and over looked the mountains literally less than 5 minutes from the ski resort. If I had to give any kind of negative remarks it would be that chemicals were needed for the hottub and the fan didn't work in the main floor master bedroom, the porch was not cleared of snow and was very slick and there was no place to turn vehicles around. These were very minor inconveniences and our stay was great. We will be back.

Great location and property management was quick to respond when needed. Hot tub was clean and fun for the kids. Converted garage was great with ping pong table and second master suite. Cleaning service must have forgotten to clean the 3rd floor(bed in room with trundle only had a waterproof mattress cover, no sheets. Spare sheets and blankets were covered in pet hair as was roomba vacuum on main level. Mosquitoes will carry you away and limited our time outside around the home. Overall a great stay and would return.

Silverton Wedding Stay
Overall, we had a pleasant experience at this rental property. The last night of our stay, the breaker in one of the upstairs bedrooms tripped and we couldn’t get it to reset so we had to change up sleeping arrangements after everyone had gone to bed but it all worked out. The two couches in the main living area were bowed/broken in the middle making them difficult to get out of but as long as you say closer to the arms of the couches, you were fine. The kids enjoyed exploring the area and the days and nights were so much cooler than If we had stayed in town.

Ous stay in Colorado was a Christmas gift to kids and grandkids. There were 12 of us and the house fit our needs and was well stocked with all the essentials. We had no problems at all that would require a call to the managers but did have their number and contact info if we needed anything. It is in a beautiful area and we spent time in Durango, Silverton and Ouray.

Nice process, all turned out as advertised. It would be nice to have a bit more information shared through the VRBO app itself as it isn’t very informative even after having a place reserved but the overall process and the helpfulness of the staff was great. We will be doing this again.

The scenery around this home is as good as it gets. There is plenty to do: take the boats to the lake, hike, go to town, etc. The home itself is about as good as you will get at this price point. The only negatives were minor: 1. staff did not leave enough shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper for each bathroom...come on, for $5 worth of toiletries, we would have nothing to complain about; 2. the property management expected us to download its app and check it for communication (the code on the dumpster changed)..hey we were on vacation from the internet, you should communicate by text or phone call since phones are never totally ignored even on vacation; and the couches were both broken and in need of a trip to the dumpster. Even with these minor inconveniences we would go back to this property in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great vacation.

Two families with teenagers stayed comfortably in this spacious and well-stocked home, tucked away in a private wooded lot. Lots of beds/baths and the kitchen was stocked with staples, we wanted for nothing. Also enjoyed the fact the area was 15 degrees cooler than the city of Durango which was suffering in high 90s. Would definitely rent again!

Ski Vacation
This was a great place to stay. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. The towels were plush and plentiful. Everything about the place was perfect for us.

Everything was so clean! The host included all necessary items for a stay (utensils, cookware, dish soap, laundry detergent, toilet paper, etc.) The location was also amazing being a mile and a half drive from Purgatory. In the winter definitely bring your 4wd vehicle!

Nice property
first time user of VRBO, overall very happy with the experience. Only down side was local lake needed permit from owner to fish. We had several young kids that just wanted to fish, but were unable to.

Perfect for our large group
We had 14 people in our group. The cabin was roomy and beautiful. Parking was a little interesting. We came to the area to ride trails on sxs UTVs so we had 3 trucks with trailers, we ended up parking down below the house at someone else's property, thankfully he was nice enough to let us. Really the only annoyance was they initially only gave us 2 trash bags, so we had to call the first night and ask for more, I thought that was strange since they knew there were more than 10 of us and we were staying 6 nights, then we ended up running out of TP the second to the last day. Taking the trash out to the large dumpster by the main road was a challenge, it was full when we got there and 12 hours after it was emptied it was full again, no idea what we wouldn't done with all the trash had we left on a Wednesday or Thursday before they emptied it again. Also they need to rewire the bathroom lights on the main floor, there's a master bath and a half bath and they are connected to each other so you have to have the half bath turned on or the master one won't work.

Beautiful setting
This is a nice cabin set back amongst aspen and pine trees near a small lake. The rooms are spacious. The kitcken was adequately equipped. There is a lot to do nearby: Purgatory chair lift & alpine slide, mt biking, hiking, swimming/kayaking, river rafting or just taking a walk on the roads in the vicinity. The property management was responsive and helped when a smoke alarm malfunctioned and when we were short on towels. Highly recommended.

Durango 2020
The house itself was great. We had issues with supplies not being provided as detailed on the website. No or little hand soap, toilet paper, dishwasher soap etc. when we arrived. The kitchen stove was very inadequate for cooking as the heat level was so bad it took forever to cook anything, very inconvenient with 15 people eating all meals on the premises. All the kitchen pots, pans and cookware are very old and well used. Some of the appliances such as can opener and hand mixer are from the 60's, time for a little update/upgrade in general. All in all we had a great time and dealt with the circumstances.
