Beautiful Large Loft on Historic Water Street in Downtown Decorah
Dieses moderne Apartment mit zwei Schlafzimmern und zwei Vollbädern ist geräumig und perfekt in der Innenstadt von Decorah gelegen, direkt zwischen dem historischen Hotel Winneshiek und Mabes Pizza. Nur wenige Schritte von Restaurants, Museen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten entfernt! Das Decorah Loft ist eine komfortable Alternative zu einem beengten Hotelzimmer. Jedes Schlafzimmer hat ein eigenes Vollbad. Die voll ausgestattete Küche des Lofts öffnet sich zu einem großen Wohnbereich und einem 3 m langen Billardtisch. Das Loft ist perfekt für Paare am Wochenende. Das Loft ist beliebt bei Luther-Eltern, die eine schöne Zeit mit ihren Schülern verbringen möchten! No complaints. This worked well as a hub from which to visit Decorah and surroundings (e.g., the Driftless Center, Pike's Peak Park, Dunning's Spring, the Fish Hatchery, the Norwegian Museum, Spillville and the Bily Museum, etc.) Local restaurants & the Food Co-op were good as well.

Couldn’t ask for a better location in Decorah. You’re in the center of all the action downtown. Very walkable to Luther and other touristy spots like Dunning Springs.

Homecoming gathering.
Very clean, well stocked, great gathering spaces. Regulating the temperature was a challenge.I would stay there again. We could not locate the book with guidelines and directions and how to use the place.

Beautiful space
Nicely decorated and comfy. Good beds. Each bedroom has a bathroom off of it. Right downtown so close to restaurants and shops . Sept. 2021 some restaurants are closed Monday and Tuesday.

This was our second stay at the loft and I would definitely reserve it again if/when we return to Decorah. Everything is as stated on the VRBO sight. Location is perfect and the pool table is a bonus.

Very accurate listing, everything was just as we expected it! Private garage was a great bonus on a rainy morning packing up. I loved the decor, so many quirky and fun pieces. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the basic utensils. The bedrooms were very quiet, allowing those who went to bed early to not be bothered by those in the living room. Location was amazing, right in the heart of such diverse downtown district. We will definitely be back!

Decorah adventure
Unfortunate for property owner a rain storm resulted in water damage to an area of the building. Leah was attentive and considerate of us as her guests during this challenge. Recommend both Loft Apartment and owner as great experience.

Lovely accommodations
We make a yearly trip to Decorah and this is the best property we have ever stayed at. Centrally located downtown with easy access to bike trails and wonderful craft beer locations. Hopeful to make this place a permanent part of our annual tradition.

Great spot!
This is a great place. We stayed there with our 2 boys and everything was perfect. The kitchen was well appointed and the pool table kept everyone occupied in the evenings. The record player was a fun touch.

This was a wonderful place to stay at! Very comfortable, accommodating, and homey. Great location, everything needed was in walking distance. The owners were in great communication and went above and beyond to make certain we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Quick weekend getaway
This is the perfect home away from home! The location is perfect for everything you would want to do in Decorah, also conveniently located next to Mabes. The garage is an added bonus, but the owners literally have anything you could possibly need for a relaxing stay. Beds were comfortable with good quality linens. We are already planning to go back and we will definitely be staying here!

Great Place
We were in town for my nephews wedding. The Loft had lots of room, very clean and stuff for my kids to play, particularly the pool table, the short amount of time we were in the loft. Will definitely try and book again when we come back to Decorah.

A Wonderful Graduation Weekend
This was our second time at The Loft. We were in town for our daughters graduation from Luther College. The location and the amenities of The Loft were absolutely perfect for our family. We could not be more impressed with this place. They have thought of everything to make a stay as comfortable as possible.

The Loft was roomy, well equipped, clean, quiet and close to everything we wanted to do. We have stayed at many VRBO locations; The Loft has a great kitchen which worked well for us.

Very comfortable and cozy downtown retreat
A perfect location. Literally steps from Mabe’s Pizza, Impact Coffee, Rubaiyat Restaurant, and Ruby's Restaurant (yes, we tried them all during our short stay). The Loft’s two bedrooms are perfectly sized and comfortable. The living area is roomy full of personal touches (including a pool table and a turntable - complete with s nice selection of vinyl). Did I mention covered parking? If you want to feel like a local, you’ll want to say at the Loft.

Spontaneous Thanksgiving away from home
The Loft was very enjoyable. It is a lovely flat, much bigger than I expected. Beautiful hardwood floors throughout with the exception of the two bedrooms, which had very comfortable beds. The bedrooms were in a completely different part of the flat than the kitchen/dining/entertainment area, which gave them a separate and private feel. The loft is directly on Water Street, and although doesn't overlook Water Street, the views of the bluffs are gorgeous. We spontaneously booked a Thanksgiving stay in the Loft, and my family was absolutely ecstatic when we walked through the doors (it was a surprise for them). My two girls never wanted to leave. Leah was very easy to work with; the instructions for entry were very easy. Also there is an enclosed, attached garage for one car to park in. This was an extra surprise!

You won't be disappointed!
We loved what we saw online when we initially reviewed The Loft. It was the perfect size for our group, in the perfect location. Being able to use the front and back doors, as well as a garage was super helpful. The "lofted" area for the bedrooms was a great separation from the family room and kitchen. Bedrooms were quiet and private and each has it's own bathroom. We chose The Loft for Luther College's Class of 2018 graduation ceremony. We stayed a full week in Decorah and took in everything that we could. Once you settle in the loft, you really don't need your car because you can walk to all the hotspots! Thank you!!

Charming, comfortable and great location
We stayed at this property with another couple and it was perfect. Plenty of space to hang out, cook and play pool together, but we each had our own bedroom and full bath. Decorah is charming! We enjoyed walking the trail along the river, and exploring the local shops and restaurants. The Loft is in the perfect location and we could walk everywhere. Great weekend getaway!

We were booked for two adult couples, but due to a death in the family there were only two of us able to make the trip. The property would have been perfect for the four of us, but the two of us enjoyed it all the same! Great floor plan, everything we needed was there. The only thing that would make this property better is if it had a balcony, but that just isn't part of the layout here. Would definitely stay here again if we return to Decorah.
