Craftsman Stil 350 Quadratmeter Holzrahmen Effizienz Häuschen im ersten Stock, Seitenflügel des Carriage House Chalet und beinhaltet: ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett, Vollbad mit Annehmlichkeiten, Wohnzimmer mit einem doppelten Leder-Futon-Schlaf, Flachbild-Kabel-TV , WiFi und Kochnische - inklusive Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, komplettem Geschirr, Spüle und Zugang zum Außengrill mit Seitenbrenner. Tauchen Sie ein in einen wunderschönen Holzrahmen Pavillon bedeckten Whirlpool, eingebettet in die Bäume auf dem schönen 2 Hektar großen Anwesen.
Das Chalet, eine 1.860 Quadratfuß große Scheune aus Holz, wurde ursprünglich 2005 erbaut, um vom Eigentümer Jake Thompsons als Holzladen, Lager für die Kutsche und die Gurte und Ställe für die beiden Zugpferde von Percheron, Kobuk & Tecumseh "die Jungen", genutzt zu werden. verwendet im Wagengeschäft, mit einem Heuboden oben. Im Jahr 2010 gingen die Jungen in den Ruhestand und in den Jahren nach dem Beginn der Renovierungsarbeiten schleiften sie alle schönen Douglasienhölzer und verwandelten ein ehemals rustikales Zimmer in hübsch eingerichtete Luxusapartments im handwerklichen Stil. Das Carriage House Chalet Efficiency wird wie früher als Kobuk's Stall bezeichnet.

My husband and I just stayed here for a quick “honeymoon” night after we got married and to say it was perfect just doesn’t cut it. Within walking distance to downtown girdwood, we had dinner at double musky across the street, coffee at the grind table n the morning, and of course lounged in the hot tub. It was just amazing, thank you so so much!

We were in the Kobuk cottage and it was a great place to stay, clean, quiet, and beautifully done. Highly recommend for a couple’s getaway.

The cabin is exactly as advertised. Very clean and quiet. The bed is comfy not to soft not to hard. The restaurant across the road is super convenient after a long day on the road. We loved the area and even got to watch a bore tide. We would stay here again if in the area.

Kobuk’s Stall was cozy, quiet, quaint, and inviting. Perfect for those on the run or for those who wanted to sleep in just a little later. Rachael and Jake were absolutely amazing hosts. From evening walks, to dinner at Double Musky- it was an all around amazing trip! Hot tub was clean and amazing for those long days. I highly recommend any of their properties!

Great location for a quick get away from Anchorage. Came for a birthday dinner at Double Musky & a relaxing dip in the hot tub. Love the design of the converted stall and the property. Will definitely be back!

Great anniversary trip
Rachel and Jake were easy to communicate with and have a great location. The rental was perfect for our trip. We enjoyed the hot tub as well. We look forward to returning in the future!

Great home and location!
Owners were awesome and the home was very clean with awesome wood work. I would highly recommend this home for your stay in Girdwood. The only things worth noting is the kitchen is very minimalist and there is no washer and dryer. Neither of these bothered us at all and they might have even indicated these things in ad for the home. I’m just pointing it out in case you’re expecting otherwise. There is a laundromat right down the road and plenty of nearby dining options including the excellent place right across the road.

We loved our stay! Comfy bed, clean room, and great location! Everything in Girdwood is within driving distance. We also really enjoyed the hot tub. We also appreciated the communication between the owner, it really helped the ease of our stay. Highly recommend.

Peaceful retreat.
A wonderful night in Girdwood for our anniversary. We loved that the cottage was across the street from the Musky. We were impressed with the woodwork, the comfortable bed, the woodsy atmosphere and the cleanliness. We definitely would come back again and would recommend it to friends.

Nice, quaint cabin feel in a beautiful suite
This was a beautifully appointed and updated suite with a cabin feel. There were rustic wood beams and nice yellowish lighting to make you feel warm and cozy. It had a nice kitchnette with a lot of amenities and a really comfortable king size bed. The hot tub is an added and welcome bonus under a custom gazebo with cafe lighting. The only thing we would have liked to have was a electric tea kettle to heat up water for a French press or to make tea. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and plan to come back again in the near future!

Wonderful little cabin with great hosts!
Rachel and Nick have a great little get away. It's in a great location next to lots of great hiking trails, small town restaurants and a great hot tub steps away from your front door. We spent a week there for our honeymoon and couldn't have asked for a better getaway to celebrate us!! I cannot speak highly enough about this amazing place!

My Husband and I so enjoyed staying here. We stayed in Kobuk's Stall. Very comfortable and cozy and beautiful woodwork. Great location too. Easy drive or walk to many of Girwoods restaurants or hiking spots. Rachel and her husband were wonderful hosts. While breakfast was not included, for a small fee Rachel invited us to join others in the main house. Her breakfasts were amazing. We would definitely stay here again!

Enchanting Location with Gracious Host
Loved staying here. Located in peaceful, woodsy area just across the street from the Double Musky. Close to town but an easy walk or free shuttle to get you where you want to go. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and a cut above anything you will find in town. Rachel was a wonderful host and cook. She suggested a hike along Winner Trail which was the best hike we took in our 2 weeks in Alaska, and she even provided us with a ride to the trailhead.

The property is in a great location close to the double musky, silvertip, chair 5 and the Merc. Shuttle stop across the street to get you to resort, jack sprats and sitzmark. Beautiful property...clean, quiet and cozy unit. Wished the hot tub was open later than 10pm. Hot tub was clean and very nice. Loved our stay here!

Clean and comfortable!
The owners were very friendly and accommodating. They take very good care of their units and property, and it shows. We only stayed one night, but enjoyed our time. The unit (Kobuk's Stall) was incredibly clean and well kept, with a super comfy bed. It's the perfect size for one or two people, or those traveling with one small child. We enjoyed the hot tub in the gazebo with views of the mountains. This is a separate unit on the ground level of a bigger property. We were fortunate that those staying in the other two units were not loud (didn't even hear them) but, if you're traveling with an infant or small child, or if you're a light sleeper...consider booking the upstairs unit just in case you get some folks who aren't as quiet. This unit is in walking distance of the Double Musky restaurant (across the street) and "downtown" girdwood. Maybe a 5 or 10 minute walk to the other restaurants, Mercantile, clinic, etc. Great quiet location, but in close proximity to amenities. Would definitely book with Rachel and her husband (the owners) again!
