The home didn’t work for a family of 10. There was nowhere to gather to eat or visit. The home is very dated. Unfortunately we had to find alternative accommodations for our family vacation. We canceled the day of arrival.

Thanksgiving gathering was enjoyable and had plenty of space. Only downside was the beds need new mattresses. However, the townhouse has everything you need from play equipment to crockpots.

Cabin was big and good for entertaining. Older, needs updates and a throrough deep cleaning, more large bowls and serving spoons for cooking. Overall a nice place.

Cool place. 3 stories. Fun for the kids cause of all the stairs. Cool games room.

The online photos are old and do not depict the current conditions. We enjoyed the balcony with beautiful views. The appliances, plumbing and electricity worked very well except for the minor issue with the dishwasher. The dishwasher soap pods need to be tossed into the dishwasher just prior to running it, otherwise the pods stick to the dispenser and don't release the soap. One of the TVs did not work and was not hooked up for service. We did not use the grill. The owner of the property is very nice, attentive and helpful. We were impressed with the ample amount of kitchen dishes, pots, pans, small and large appliances. We did not meet the property manager but with a long list of requests, only 2 were addressed by employees before our week stay ended. Way too much of family time was wasted on fixing or adjusting for the other problems that were not addressed. The pool table edges are brittle and the darts need replacements. We strongly suggest taking your own pillows and possibly your own blankets. No one in the family found the beds comfortable! We felt the mattresses and box springs need replacement as well as the worn out and dirty pillows. After we washed a couple of the bedspreads and blankets, then they were acceptable. There are only a few hours between renters for the cleaning crew(s) to attend the rentals. This is a 3 story condo that could be great again with timely maintenance and sufficient cleaning time. Prior water damage to the walls.

We had a great time! The condo allowed us to all stay together and the game room was where we spent most of our time. It was a great weekend.

Needs a lot of updates. Mattresses are very old in all rooms and you roll to the middle. Top floor was hot even with thermostat, which is on the bottom of 3 floors, was turned down to 65°. Needs a mini split a/c unit for top floor. We didn't sleep well and stayed hot in the main area. A few weeks of rental money put back in the unit would make this a great place to stay.

This is the best location. Hiking, swimming, climbing, sports all there at the condo. The fire lookout tower was one of by husbands fondest memories beginning his FF career, the the hike there being east was great. And less than a mile from midtown. Everyone was very happy and comfortable. The large game room was a huge hit. Three two 9 year old grandsons said “this place is the sickest!” That meant they really liked it and they’re pretty picky. Thank you all!

Everything needs an update. Very old decor from the 70s. Nice space but definitely needs a remodel. House was too hot… even after lowering the temperature.

The condo needs more maintenance and needs a deep clean. The condo had a grill and did not work. The garbage disposal did not work the water got backed up on the sink. The kitchen trash can was dirty. The door on the game room did not want to close. The master bedroom had trouble flushing. Spider and spider web in the ceiling. The kitchen table was a wobbly. The pillows smelled like they haven’t been washed. One chair on the bar was broken it was missing a bolt. The internet was slow. The balcony side rail felt loose and the vertical wood could be move sideways. It needs plenty of repairs.

Condo was very spacious. Plenty of rooms & bathrooms. great view! The game room was very cool! Only down side was it’s out dated. Needs some TLC. Over all it was nice!

We absolutely loved the location not this property. So close to downtown and shopping. It is a very steep drive and the parking is as well so be prepared for that. The game room was an added bonus. The only suggestions I would make is to update the furniture. The couches were not comfortable at all and table looks like it has been fixed for the last time. We would absolutely stay again!

Very rustic and quaint place. Close to all the fun and a beautiful view too. We enjoyed ourselves and plan on coming back.

The property is at a great location, very convenient to town, and has great views! The space was great for a large group of family members and provided enough space for everyone to relax. The property itself needs some serious maintenance and deep cleaning. The AC did not work, so they came and installed 2 window units, which cooled those 2 rooms, but not the entire unit. There were many things that were not working properly - the shower doors in the master bathroom were very hard to open/close; the faucet in the master bathroom leaked, so there was always water all over the bathroom counter. We found an old dirty plate of food in the bedside drawer of one of the bedrooms. I think attention to details and some basic maintenance and upgrades could make this property really shine.

It was an amazing property. Close to the lakes for fishing and the Winter Park which the kids enjoyed. Close to all the stores, if needed, but were also able to see some deer close by. The property was clean, enjoyable with amenities which included the game room and the pool nearby. Beds were also wonderfully comfortable. My family and extended family really enjoyed our stay here.

Easy, spacious, clean, fun and spacious!

All went well except for the adults having sleepless nights due to very soft and uncomfortable mattresses. Other than that, we enjoyed our stay.

My husband and I brought our 4 grandchildren to stay at this property. The space was perfect. Everyone had their own room and the 4 bathrooms was perfect. The house is older and could use some deep cleaning and paint. But for the price and the amenities (dishes, towels, spices, game room) it was ideal for the 6 of us. Ritchie was great with the communication and readily available for questions. We enjoyed our stay!!

We had some small issues. The bathroom on the top floor was not flushing everytime and we had to sometime pick up the tank top and jiggle the flush valve. One of our guests would've liked a recliner as that is where she is used to sleeping; however, all good, she managed. The lighting was dim, but we got used to it over time. We enjoyed our stay and I am only telling you these things in case you want to fix it for the next guest. We were very satisfied with our stay and I hope we met your expectations as far as cleaning was concerned. Thank you!

This property has the potential to be an awesome place but is in serious need for upgrading; - All of the bathroom fixtures and cabinets need to replaced. - The furniture in all the bedrooms is in poor condition, the beds were comfortable. - The carpeting throughout the house is in poor condition. - All but one of the deck chairs were unusable when we arrived, they brought 4 new ones right away. - The kitchen and family room is a very nice room but again the sink, fixtures and cupboards all need to be replaced. We loved the location and enjoyed our stay in Ruidoso.

Everything was very nice n comfortable the only thing that needs improvement was the patio furniture… most of the chairs were torn… other than that everything was very nice… we all enjoyed our stay….

Five bedrooms, four bathrooms, housed our extended family group easily. Game room was a great addition for the kids and adults. House needed a good deep cleaning from top to bottom. It definitely needed updating throughout, needing cosmetic repairs on every level. Overall this is a nice house that needs some TLC.

We had an amazing time at Ritchies place. The check in and check out process was simple. It was a clean home that provided everything we needed for a comfortable stay. There were plenty of cooking utensils for us to use, and it was especially nice to have a grill with propane for us to utilize. I would definitely recommend his home. It is close to downtown with a beautiful scenic backdrop and a heated community pool. We had several deer come by and pay us a visit.

This property was nice and comfortable. Easy process for checking in. Just the out door furniture needs to be replaced. The chairs were worn out out and tearing.
