Carriage House - Tecumseh's timber frame Cottage
Handwerker-Stil 350 Quadratmeter Holzrahmen Effizienz im ersten Stock, Seitenflügel der Carriage House Chalet - beinhaltet: ein Schlafzimmer mit einem Kingsize-Bett, Bad mit Annehmlichkeiten, Wohnzimmer mit einem Doppel-Futon, Flachbild-Kabel-TV, WiFi, und Küchenzeile - einschließlich Mikrowelle, Kaffeemaschine, Toaster, komplettes Geschirr, Spüle und Zugang zum Außengrill mit Seitenbrenner. Tauchen Sie ein in einen wunderschönen Pavillon mit Holzrahmen und Pavillon, der in den Bäumen auf dem wunderschönen, 2 Hektar großen Grundstück liegt.
Das Chalet, eine 1860 Quadratmeter große Holzrahmen Scheune, wurde ursprünglich im Jahr 2005 gebaut, um von Besitzer Jake Thompsons als seine Holzhandlung, Ställe für die beiden Percheron Zugpferde, Kobuk & Tecumseh "die Jungs" in der Kutsche verwendet werden verwendet werden, und ein Heuboden oben. Nachdem die Jungen in den Jahren nach den Renovierungsarbeiten in Rente gegangen waren, schleifen sie alle schönen Douglas-Tannen und umschlossen die Stallbereiche. Perfect getaway for a couple
We had a great experience staying at the Carriage House. I highly recommend the Double Musky, though all of the restaurants in Girdwood were excellent. If you want to go hiking and spot moose, just keep driving north on Crow Creek Road. There are many trails that branch off of the road. I would recommend getting a moose horn, bear spray if you want to hike, we also saw mountain lion tracks.. We saw moose cross the road as we were driving, drive with caution.

Beautiful, comfortable stay
Everything was perfect for our short stay in Girdwood. Especially convenient for dining at the double musky. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we are ever back in town!

Perfect little getaway in Girdwood
This was an excellent choice for my husband and I to stay during our vacation to Alaska. The place was clean. The owners were very accommodating. The hot tub was an added bonus. Two thumbs up for The Double Musky restaurant across the street. Couldn't ask for anything more. Just perfect!!!

Weekend getaway
I wasn’t sure what to expect as we haven’t stayed there before, but the craftsmanship of the woodwork in the cabin is beautiful!!! The room was cozy, clean, and had everything you needed to cook meals. My husband use the hot tub and then quickly decided that we needed one at home! So needless to say that was an added bonus.. we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Stayed here for a quick overnight getaway with my husband. Super clean, comfortable, and in a nice location. My only complaint is I reached out to the property owner on two occasions, once by email and once by text message, and never heard back from her. Other than that it was an absolutely wonderful stay. The woodworking is gorgeous. Super cozy and delightful.

The property is located across the street from the Double Musky so it was perfect for dinner and a weekend escape. We both commented on how great the bedding smelled.

We loved this property in every way. It's very beautiful inside and outside. King size bed was very comfy. Nicely decorated, owners took care to put high quality in everything. Very nice and we'll be back every year for our Anniversary.

Easy place to stay in Girdwood
The Carriage House has a couple of properties to rent, and Tecumseh's Cozy Stall was indeed cozy. The king bed is super comfy, and the fluffy towels made the show a delight. It is an easy walk on a path into the small town, and across the street from the well loved Double Musky.

Perfect location
My friend and I came To Girdwood to get away for a few days and I searched for a location with a hot tub and this place was great! We were immediately greeted and taken care off by the property manager. Our cottage was extreamly clean and the grounds were beautiful. Right across the street from Double Musky it was so convenient and a close drive to the Winner creek trail! Highly recommend this property!

Place was cozy
Hot tub was down, also didn’t have hot water half the night. The people that stayed the night before us ruined that.

Very nicely decorated and furnished!
It was very clean and the bed was really comfortable. I loved all the wood details throughout the room. It was very quiet considering the room faces the road. Little privacy with the windows open, but window coverings are provided and that took care is the issue! We weren’t able to use the hot tub though. It would be nice if it were open in the morning to enjoy a nice cup of coffee in and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Jake and Rachel were both very nice and helpful!

Very comfortable, homey place to stay. Really pretty and well kept property, cute pets, relaxing hot tub, and wonderful attentive hosts. Great location literally across the street from the excellent Double Musky and a shuttle stop that will get you to the resort, easy access to town across a trail down Crow Creek Rd, and fantastic hiking just up the street. Perfect place to stay.

Great small apartment...planned to save money by cooking in kitchen, but there is no stove.
The unit was great...hot tub wasn't too clean...kitchen is not really able to cook meals in: original ad made it sound like you could...outdoor grill wasn't made available to us until second day there and I was made to feel like I was being difficult(!) and instead of making a concession of some kind, was offered to stay in a more expensive unit.

The perfect family escape!
A quiet little escape for our family! The property was gorgeous and maintained, the restruant is directly across the street & the suite was a comfortable size with all our needs being met. I would highly suggest this for a couple or a small family wanting to try something a bit more personal for their next visit to Girdwood!
