Das Kottage on the Key ist ein brandneues Gästehaus in der Lemon Bay, nur wenige Schritte von den Stränden von Manasota Key entfernt. Dieser Bungalow liegt an einer Privatstraße und bietet einen erholsamen Kurzurlaub mit Zugang zur Bucht und zum Strand. Bringen Sie Ihr Boot oder Kajak mit. Haustiere sind auch willkommen! Manasota Key bietet ein "Old Florida" -Erlebnis ohne Hochhäuser und mit wenig Verkehr. Es gibt keine Ampeln auf diesem versteckten Juwel einer Insel. Es gibt vier Restaurants auf Manasota Key, darunter die zwanglose Tiki Bar am Wasser und formelles Essen mit spektakulärem Blick auf den Golf. Manasota Key ist in erster Linie ein Wohngebiet. Neben Restaurants umfasst der Werbespot auf diesem malerischen Schlüssel ein Café, einen Lebensmittelladen, einen Köderladen und eine Pizza zum Mitnehmen. Our stay at the Kozy Kottage was great. It was clean. The neighborhood was quiet and safe. The two minute walk to the beach was easy. The beach was fairly quiet when we were there (not many people). The sunsets were great.
The town was nice as well. Tiki Bar and Grille was our favorite place we went back a few times. Locke and Key Restaurant and Farlow on the Water were also good food and service.
We plan to come back to Manasota Key in the future and would definitely stay at the Kozy Kottage if it is available.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Kozy Kottsge. It is the perfect, little, couples retreat nestled into a great beach area. Manasota and the surrounding
areas have so much to offer in beaches, recreation and restaurants. After a hot day playing on the beach, you can relax on the lanai in the shade and watch the wildlife in Lemon Bay. The hosts were also some of the nicest we have seen in our travels.

We have been to Manasota Key previously and our friends are located north of the property. The "kottage" is perfect for a couple. Clean and conveniently located to all Manasota Key amenities! Communication was excellent.

Our ten day stay was lovely. Tom & Sheri were on hand to answer questions readily. Englewood is simply a wonderful place to enjoy the warmth, hospitality & beautiful beaches of Florida.

The small apartment was perfect for 2. It has everything you need. Just a quick short walk to the beautiful beach. Always love Manasota Key. Had pretty crummy weather but still a nice vacation.

The cottage looks brand new.It's ver close to the most wonderful beach. It's a private beach so there is very little people and we watch incredible sunsets.As a big bonus we also got to watch the sunrise from the kitchen window and the out balcony.We enjoy this place so much.The owners are very nice people also.i highly recommend this place.

Nice stay. Super clean house (which is very important to me). The dock is in need of repair, but it is being taken care of, since it is a neighborhood dock. The hosts were excellent.

The property was perfect for us. Loved the layout and easy access to the kayak launch and to the beach. Neighborhood was really quiet. We hadn't gotten away for a while and it was such a relaxing stay. Perfect weather, perfect accommodations, great kayaking and beach time. We loved it.

This place was clean, situated perfectly for us. We could easily walk to the beach with chairs and umbrella provided for us. Restaurants all within a mile. Everything youd need for a relaxing vacation...very quiet neighborhood. We'll be back!

This beautiful home was perfect for my two week stay in Manasota Key! The place was well equipped with everything I needed and the porch with a view to the bay had the most spectacular views of the moon at night! I brought my small dog and it was great to set out with her on the porch as it was enclosed nicely! The location was perfect just between the bay and gulf. The private entrance to the beach offered a very private beach area. I highly recommend this gem of a property! Thank you Sheri and Tom for being lovely hosts!

The Kottage was very clean and the perfect size for two people! Check in was very easy and the location was great. It was a short walk to the private beach, which had amazing sunset views! The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful. We would love to stay here again in the future!

Wow. What a beautiful place to stay. The location was perfect. So close to the bay and the beach. So many great restaurants and fun things to do nearby. The neighborhood was super quite and the neighbors were hospitable. Kottage was very cozy and had everything we needed to cook meals. Was nice and peaceful to sit out on the balcony. Bed was super comfortable and there was lots of closet space. Communication with the property owner was great and check in was very easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The rental was the perfect size for my husband and I! Location was great and quiet, and the few neighbors we met were so kind. Easy walk to all popular restaurants on the main road, and close to all of the action for the boat races that took place when we were there. Check in process was extremely easy as well as checking out. Sheri and Tom were very quick to respond to any questions I had leading up to our trip. We did get to meet Sheri in person and she went out of her way to check in on how we were doing, as well as giving recommendations for the best restaurants - which we loved! We would easily book this property again!

My wife and I booked this property well before hurricane season, and unfortunately Hurricane Ian slammed Florida’s west coast exactly 2 weeks before our scheduled check-in. The Cat 4/ borderline Cat 5 made landfall 19 miles south of Manasota Key. We thought for sure we were going to have to call an audible on our anniversary trip, but that miraculously wasn’t the case.
First and foremost, Sherri and Tom are great. They kept in contact with us throughout the entire time of uncertainty, giving us updates and necessary info. Somehow, the property received little to no damage (very high quality construction), but Sherri and Tom still gave us the option of a refund, which I thought set them apart. I never once felt like I was stuck with the reservation, which means a lot, given the circumstances. The Kottage was great, immaculately clean, beautiful view of bay (especially at sunrise), short 3-4 min walk to the private beach, peaceful and quiet.
The Kottage itself is worth booking, but being able to deal with great people such as Sherri and Tom in the process makes everything easy and painless, even with drastic circumstances. We will definitely be back to the Key and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else!

Loved the privacy, peace and quiet! Extremely clean and homey! Nice size for 2 adults and 2 dogs. Also, loved the porch with ceiling fans. Very nice to sit out there and peacefully enjoy nature.
Only criticizm was the bed. Like most married couples, we are used to a king size bed. We were unable to adjust to a full size. A queen would be more than sufficient.

Amazing place
We greatly enjoyed our stay! It's slightly out of town, which we loved. Access to a wonderful beach was so close yet not crowded. And with Stumpys free ride getting around to all the sights and restaurants was convenient and easy. We couldn't be happier with our time there!

Just spent 12 days at this charming getaway! I feel so relaxed and happy. Everything is just as it’s written. Clean, well stocked, great porch and the owners gave quick responses when needed. I had a wonderful time. Plenty of nice restaurants and I wanted some fresh foods and would highly recommend Olde Englewood Village Farmers market. A little drive but you won’t be disappointed. Look it up when you go!

The Kottage was just as described. It was cozy and very clean. we had everything we needed. The short walk to the beach was so easy and we loved not having to drive to a crowded public beach. Stumpy's free shuttle got us to dinner and back. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked. I would stay here again.

Quiet Manasota Key Get Away
The one-bedroom Kottage was a perfect getaway for a couple or single person.
Full kitchen with all the requirements was completely useful and functional for stay-in dining.
The furnishings were perfect for the layout of the home and cleanliness was not a concern. The home was clean and bright and a pleasant place to spend some solitude time.
The beach was conveniently located right across the street and easily accessible, with Intercoastal access and docks right behind the home.
Tom and Sheri were very easy to communicate with, and accommodating by providing all required information for access and use of the home.
If you are looking for a place to stay on Manasota Beach and are traveling alone or as a couple, this is a highly recommended home and location.

Manasota Key
This was a lovely place, and fairly new. It was a short walk to a private beach, and close to several restaurants. I thought I had booked for one more night, but was wrong. When we discovered we were supposed to be out when we thought we had one more day, we contacted the owner and she was very easy to deal with, and luckily the unit was not booked. I would stay here again.

Bring your own toilet paper.
The property is just as described. Clean, comfortable, beautiful, and quiet. The beach is a very short walk across the street. Lovely to have a less crowded beach.
My only issue is that only one roll of toilet paper was provided. I've never stayed in property that didn't provide toilet paper. It wouldn't have been an issue if that had been clearly stated in the rental agreement.
Otherwise, everything was wonderful.
