The backyard was amazing! Very relaxing with heated pool, jacuzzi, and fire pit. The interior is older style but well kept. My only complaint was there we’re not very many bath towels and they were kind of scratchy. All in all it was an amazing rental

The home is perfect, the kids and adults loved the pool. Area is really nice and great location to everything. We loved taking the walking trail to get coffee in the mornings. The house is super cute. Owner is awesome! Thanks

Dan was so accommodating, kind & friendly! He went above and beyond to make sure everything was ready for us when we arrived and has the most awesome backyard that we spent tons of time in as a family! There’s a beautiful walking path right off the driveway of the house that leads to a playground nearby and even coffee shop. We loved our morning family walks. Super clean & well maintained home! Just overall great great experience!

This is probably the best renting experience we have ever had. It was spacious, well equipped, and as advertised. Perfect location to many things. The hosts were fantastic and super responsive. My kids are already asking when we can go back. Would love to rent again.

This property had everything we needed. Our family of 6 had plenty of space but we really appreciated how well equipped the house is.......from an abundance of towels to the coffee grinder. The outdoor space with pool, spa and barbeque was perfect for enjoying time with family and friends.

Excellent value, great location and very cozy/comfortable home. Dan and Marva (hosts) were fantastic to work with. Upon check-in, Dan walked us through the ins/outs of the house, pool and amenities within 30 mins. I searched several beach locations and they were twice as much with half the amenities. You're a short 30 mins from Disney, Anaheim stadium, Laguna, New Port beach, and several restaurant, grocery stores and other shopping locations are within 5-10 mins away. It's located in a great neighborhood, a walking trail is just outside the front door, we even hit the gym every morning. Unlike the other locations I considered, this house is in a quiet location, off the beaten path yet close enough if you need to make a quick trip for coffee creamer. The beds are extremely comfortable and with the garage doors open during the day/evening, the breeze and fresh air is awesome. I know this is trivial to some but it was great to get our laundry done prior to leaving. We used the grill so we didn't need to eat out every night. We stocked up on groceries and felt right at home from day one. If you're thinking this home is too isolated from key attractions, don't let the map fool you...it's secluded yet very close to everything you need or want. We'll definitely make this home our go to when visiting family going forward. Oh, and did I mention the hosts are good people too!

We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. Dan and Marva are lovely hosts - the check-in process was fast & easy, the house was exactly as presented online. Our family spent most of our time in the outside space - the pool is great, there is plenty of seating for playing games or just supervising kids in the pool. We really enjoyed our stay!

This house was perfect for our family. They had all of the amenities we were looking for! The pool and hot tub were fabulous! The grandkids spent as many hours in it as they could. They also loved the pool table (even though none were very good at it) they got lots of practice! The adults enjoyed the built-in bar, dishwasher, and washer/dryer. When actually went home with clean clothes in our bags! The house was convenient to local shopping and a few restaurants were nearby. We would definitely stay here again. Our family and friends stayed at this beautiful property for a week. We had everything we needed for grilling next to pool, shooting a game of pool, a cooler, towels and boogie board for the beach, everything we could need. We were met by the homeowners who walked us through the property and how to manage the pool and spa. They were very nice and responded to messages right away. The pool was the perfect temperature and the hot tub heated up fast! The pool was amazing! Seats around the edges, deeper in the middle and shallow for the kids on the sides. We practically lived on the pool. The house is a little older but well maintained and so clean. The beds and couches were very comfortable. We used the path next to the house and all of the neighbors were so nice. This is a quiet neighborhood, no traffic noise. Close to a grocery store, coffee stand and great donut shop. We will absolutely be staying here again the next time we are in California.

We had a great week long stay with our 2 kids under 6. The house was clean, the owners met us wearing masks, they had a helpful binder of tips to run the pool ✓ in/out and the house is full of what you need (towels, kitchen supplies). There were 2 parks in the neighborhood and the bike trail was easily accessible. We plan to stay again on our next trip to Cali.

This is a happening spot for a family or even a bachelor. Great space layout, super well designed backyard and a fantastic in/out living space. Easy to get to, close to supermarkets, close to restaurants, and completely worth it.

As I always start out my reviews...I would stay here again if looking for a home sleeping 10 people. The pictures on the site are reflective of the property. The property is dated but well maintained. The money feature is the pool and backyard which is gorgeous. Parking in the driveway easily accommodates two vehicles. I had a F150 Crew Cab which fit. The house was nicely decorated. Since we had two four year olds with us we had to pickup several items to place them out of harms way. Other than that the house was ready for us when we arrived. There are plenty of towels provided. Having the washer/dryer on site meant we never ran out. The owners do provide a long list of rules but 95% are really common sense and courtesy. We did not find any of their rules impacted our visit.

We were in California for a week for a vacation and my son’s wedding. We stayed at this house and were more than pleased with it. The owner was there upon arrival and was very nice and helpful with every detail relating to the house, once he was done we knew where everything was and how things operated. The house is well kept, the yard is landscaped beautifully and the kitchen/entertainment room was a great place that we spend most of our time as a family. The backyard and pool is amazing, it was clean and such a fun place to sit and hang out. I messaged the owners several times and got an immediate response. I even got a “Happy Easter” message on Easter. They are great, the home is great and we will definitely stay again if we are in the area!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week stay here. It was quiet and had everything we needed and more. Hot tub and fire pit were perfect after a long day at Disneyland. Very clean and everything in good shape. Wonderful getaway for the family!

We had such a wonderful time staying at your beautiful home. We were in town for a family wedding in Lake Forest so the location was perfect for us, my parents and my sister and brother-in-law. The home is close to shopping and short trips to San Clemente and surrounding areas. Dan and Marva were very communicative, friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed the backyard paradise, soaking in the hot tub, grilling and a couple of competitive games of pool. The home is very well stocked for dining in, which we did a few times during our trip. If we ever travel back to Lake Forest, we would definitely stay here again. This property is amazing! The outdoor and indoor entertaining area is FANTASTIC! The pool/hot tub and landscaping in the back yard make it an oasis. We enjoyed keeping the large patio doors open between the main room and outdoor area. The pool table was a hit even for the kids, we enjoyed many games. The kitchen and bar area were well stocked with anything you would need. We enjoyed the close trails for jogging and walking. We found the upstairs hot for sleeping some nights except for the master bedroom that has air conditioning. We are used to sleeping with air conditioning though. Lastly, Marva and Dan were very helpful and lovely to deal with. We will definitely be back!

This was our first experience renting a home for the week. We did not know what to expect. To our surprise everything was perfect, from the first day to the last. Dan met us at the house and explained everything to us. We felt right at home. The back pool area to the house was beautiful! My wife and kids stated that they wanted it copied and for me to set it up in our own back yard. This trip may just have cost me more than expected:) We used the pool everyday. The hot tub was a great ending to a full day at Disneyland. If you are looking for a place to stay while at Disney, it is only 20 minutes away. When we went to the beach they had beach chairs and coolers for us to use. I would give this rental a full 10 + stars. The home was clean and nicely decorated. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was fully stocked with pots and pans and dishes, plus spices. If I were you I would go ahead and book this home...NOW!

The only negative was that only room with A/C was master bedroom. It was very warm and humid when we were there, which made the days quite uncomfortable

First of all, Marva and Dan were probably the most accommodating and welcoming hosts we've ever had. We traveled to OC for a family reunion. We found this place near to where we were staying which accommodated our family of 5(2adults 3 kids). The house felt rustic and definitely made us feel like we were on a getaway. Being right in the middle of July the weather was pretty hot(high 80's/90's). Due to the heat- we were not able to utilize any other bedroom other than the master- the only room with air-conditioning. The 5 of us had to sleep in there -which wasn't that much of a problem since it was a huge room. That was really the only drawback on our stay. But having our own pool, washer/dryer, own kitchen & all other amenities made up for the sleeping arrangements. Thank you Marva & Dan!

This house was great for our group of seven. There was lots of space and everybody loved the pool and hot tub (it was used every day/night). We truly enjoyed our stay at this home.

Wow, cannot say enough about this house and the hospitality of the owners! Beautiful home! Our kiddos really enjoyed the pool and the home is very open and family friendly. We had a fabulous time! Thank you!

Great stay in a nice quiet community in Lake Forest. The house is a little older but still very nice to stay in. Beds are comfy and rooms were clean, and the whole house has a tropical beach theme. The pool and backyard area is the big reason to rent this house - just a great place to relax all day in the pool and having BBQ and drinks on the patio, or after 12 hours at Disney or Universal sitting around the fire bowl with the patio heater and taking a dip in the hot tub late night. The pool table was fun for the kids, and the 2 roll up doors were great to just wander in and out of the house to the patio area. Small issue with the pool system was cleared up right away with the pool maintenance company coming by within a couple of hours after we texted Marva and Dan. The house has everything you need for your stay - Dan even said we could play the guitar hanging on the wall if we wanted!!! Marva and Dan were very responsive to any questions we had, left us a welcome basket of treats at the start of our stay as well. And they went above and beyond when we had a power outage of 12 hours at the house ( planned for 2 hours by the electric company as part of nearby construction, but was extended for over 12 hours due to issues) by checking with us first and then going to the house ( with our permission) to put dry ice in the fridge to make sure our food did not spoil as we were at Disney all day. Very much appreciated, and speaks to the kind of folks they are - helpful even when a power outage occurs that they have no control over, but they want you to enjoy your stay in their home!
