Great spot on quiet Vilano Beach. Beach is very much the home's back yard; no 'process' (ex- multiple access gates, codes to remember, long walks, etc) of getting down to the sand and water. Very easy to run-up to the house, if needed, making it great for those with younger kids. House as-advertised. Would definitely stay here again.

Our family of five (parents and three college age adults) had a wonderful stay at this lovely house right on the beach. There was plenty of room for all of us, two bathrooms, two decks, and a great vibe. It had a vintage feel with all the updates we needed. We could enjoy the sun on the deck or go hang out on the beach, and we could even go up to the rooftop for more sunning or to watch the sunset. It really is the perfect beach house when we just wanted to hang out there, and it’s very close to good restaurants, jet skiing, kayaking, and all of the fun things to do in St. Augustine. The house was comfy and felt like our home away from home with personal touches that were very thoughtful. Thanks so much for such a wonderful spring break. We made a lot of fun memories. We’d love to stay there again!

This home on the beach has everything you need and the location is great! 5 minutes to historic St. Augustine, minutes to great restaurants and a beach we nearly had to ourselves!

The house was great. We had never been to the area so FL was new to us. The week we went there was some sort of weather front that hovered over us all week…high surfs, high wind, rain….so we never had any sand time at all…it wasn’t the place, it was the circumstances…but there was so much to do in St. Augustine that we had a wonderful time. The restaurants were all excellent, shopping was good, lots of tourist things to do, we even went and did a painting thing…so fun. We loved the cottage, it was really well equipped…they even had beach towels but we couldn’t go out. The kitchen was well equipped and it was close to Publix so we could eat at home if we choose. I would highly recommend…it was a really nice place…the weather just didn’t cooperate for us all week long.

Stay was great! We have never been to St Augustine and we wanted to be able to walk out onto the beach. House was clean and all had room and comfortable beds. Has all you need and a great indoor porch to read when the heat of the day kicks in. Nice and close to St Augustine downtown and a food store 2 minutes down the stream. The beach is amazingly quiet and clean and the water was perfect. Loved to see the dolphins ever morning and evening.

We really enjoyed this unique house! It has every amenity we could possibly think of. The location was excellent! Very close to the activities of St Augustine but directly on the beach that was never crowded. Being in a big, clean, pet-friendly beach was the best! Our property manager was quick and easy to communicate with. We would highly recommend this house for others!

This house was true to the description. It is spacious and comfortable. The large deck offers unobstructed views of the ocean with beautiful sunrises. The location is quiet and only a short drive to the bustling historic district of St. Augustine where you can enjoy all the tourist attractions as well as the beautiful lights of the Christmas season.
We did experience a couple of unexpected maintenance issues but Petra was responsive and they were resolved. We enjoyed our time and hope to return.

Annual family vacation
This home is exactly as described. This was our second stay here. It was enough room for our family of six. To have the ocean right in the backyard was awesome. If you are looking for a great place to stay, look no further.

Wonderful!
Communication with owner was great. For me, that can make or break a rental experience. We were able to relax and enjoy the scenery. Plenty of yummy restaurants close by. Hope to return.

A great and needed family retreat
We just got back from a lovely and last minute week at the beach and so enjoyed ourselves. The house was super clean and had everything we needed for 4 adults. It's an older property and has a 1960s beach shack vibe with all the modern amenities you could want. The view, deck, roof deck and beach were wonderful. The beds and furniture were comfortable and the house is so convenient to St. Augustine. The huge rocks the house sits on were great fun to explore to find all the fossils. The owner dropped some additional deck chairs off while we were there and was welcoming and interested that we should have a great stay, which we did. Thank you for sharing your house with us!

No Better Location
To watch the sea. It's literally right outside the house, at high tide you could be on a ship. Vilano is chill and a good spot for various day trips (such as Amelia Island, a really different feel from Jacksonville/St. Aug., very interesting). This month was our second time here. The house has a stylish beach vibe, comfortable furnishings, and everything we needed to eat in. It wasn't hard to find restaurants that deliver through Grub Hub during pandemic times. The rental process was efficient and house entry perfectly easy. All in all, couldn't be sorrier to be writing this back home!

Incredible!
My husband, our dog and I stayed at the beginning of January and it truly felt like our own little sanctuary! It was so peaceful to wake up to the waves crashing each day and spend hours sitting on the beautiful deck, being so close to the water watching the sun rise. Our dog loved the wide open beach! He mastered the stairs by the end of the trip and got excited each time we went down. Highly recommend bringing your fur babies if you have them!
The house itself is an adorable, modernized “beach shack”. The beds were comfy the house was stocked with everything we needed. We cooked every night because we wanted to soak the place in!
We have told everyone we know about this place because everyone deserves to experience this little slice of heaven. We will be back!

Best view
Kitchen and laundry is stocked, beach toys on the deck great for kids. Has the best view. Perfect location, close to St Augustine. The only complaint is that we noticed a lot of dust in some areas so take an extra antihistamine if you have allergies. Other than that, had a spectacular time.

Wonderful place right on the beach..
Place needs a deep cleaning and some updates. Basement needs lots of help or locked away from guests. We could see that some work has been done so maybe that will continue because it has so much potential. We did have a fabulous time and would stay again.

Love It On The Rocks
This property is a fantastic location! We loved that you had a view from pretty much anywhere in the property. The deck is fantastic for sunsets or sunrises! The owners are clearly working to update the home as the kitchen and bathrooms were in fantastic shape. We comfortably slept 7 people with a small dog. It was a wonderful home and we absolutely loved our stay!

Amazing views!
Cute little beach house in an ideal location. Spent nearly all our whole tripcamped out on the deck with a book and a beverage watching the waves. Stunning sun and moon rises over the ocean. Close to all the attractions- only about 15 minutes. Publix right at the end of the street and multiple restaurants nearby. We would come back :)

Million dollar view! ❤️
The view is gorgeous, The issues we had was there are zero lights on the deck, all the other houses had them! The washer and dryer are in the garage/ basement! The stairs are steep with no rail to hang onto, or light to see. being older it was very hard to carry laundry up and down, plus the steps slant! Very hard to get out of the driveway because the coastal highway is very busy! This place is great for younger people, but not for people in there 60s The views are beautiful!

Issues
2 coffee makers did not work, iron (was needed as we were getting ready for wedding) tripped beakers when plugged in, roof leaked when rained. This being said, the managers addressed all issues promptly. Views of beach are beautiful. Home is overall not well maintained in our opinion.

Relaxing Retreat
Such an amazing location and a wonderful find. My whole family absolutely loved our week here! Everything about the listing was accurate. The house felt larger than the pictures showed and everything was very comfortable. The views here are absolutely amazing. We spent so much time on this trip enjoying the waves coming in and watching sunrises and sunset. The bonus of course was anytime we wanted, we were right on the beach. We absolutely will be back again! Thanks for a wonderful week!

The house was right in the water and had everything we needed for a one-week stay, including an outlet from which we could charge our Tesla. Great deck and plenty indoor seating with a view for our family of five who stayed there. Great proximity to historic St. Augustine.

That View!
Location, location, location! Stand in the living room and you can see sunrise and sunset. Breathtaking in the morning and evening. The kitchen was a dream to cook in (we cooked). The beds were super comfy. Laundry in premises. It was all so great.

Best location!
We have stayed at several beach houses but this was the closest to the beach. We walked down the steps from the dock and we were almost in the ocean! The house was well stocked and the host immediately replied to our questions. As with most beach houses, there were a few maintenance issues but they did not effect our stay and they were addressed. I will stay here again.
