Modern, secluded house with Crystal Lake views on a forested ridge
Erbaut im Jahr 2015, ist dies eine moderne Hütte in einer natürlichen Umgebung mit einem gemütlichen und dennoch offen für die Natur. Es liegt auf einem Hügelkamm auf einem 5 Hektar großen, waldreichen Grundstück und bietet Privatsphäre sowie einen atemberaubenden Blick auf den Crystal Lake. Es ist nicht ungewöhnlich, Hirsche, Truthähne, Spechte, Eulen und andere Wildtiere auf dem Land zu sehen.
Die Kabine bietet bequem Platz für sechs Personen und verfügt über zwei private Schlafzimmer und ein geräumiges Loft, alle mit Queensize-Betten. Ein Futon auf dem Dachboden kann für einen siebten Schläfer verwendet werden. Das Hauptschlafzimmer hat ein angeschlossenes Vollbad. Ein zweites Vollbad befindet sich ebenfalls im Erdgeschoss.
Es verfügt über eine voll ausgestattete moderne Küche mit Mikrowelle, Geschirrspüler, Müllabfuhr und Elektrogeräten. Der Esstisch bietet bequem Platz für 8. Eine Waschmaschine, ein Trockner und ein DVD-Player sind vorhanden. Ebenfalls angeboten werden:
• Eine Feuerstelle für Sonnenuntergang Lagerfeuer (mit Holz zur Verfügung gestellt)
• Ein großes Vorderdeck
• Ein Außengrill
• Wunderschöner See- und Waldblick
• In der Nähe öffentlicher Zugang zu Stränden und Yachthäfen
• Fünf Autominuten nach Frankfurt oder Beulah

We all appreciated the lovely landscape, accessible location and thoughtfully cared for property. The quiet site was restful and offered a great spot to launch day trips, hang out in and return to after a day on the beach, dunes, or in local communities. Small issue worthy of note, the upstairs couch/futon is a single, not a double bed.

Was so serene & quiet! Did not miss the internet, TV or WIFI enjoyed playing games, laughing, & conversations with the kids! Beautiful home! 1 little thing was the BBQ pit was a little rusty but we just used some foil! Would definitely rent again & refer it to friends!!!!!

This property was very conveniently located with an amazing view of Crystal Lake peeking through the trees from the living room. The house was clean and having access to the washer and dryer was nice. If coming with more than four people, I would recommend bringing extra towels/rags as the host only leaves four sets.

We had a wonderful stay at this property during a long weekend visiting friends from college and spending time at Crystal Lake and the Frankfort Beach. The home was perfect for our three kids, my wife, and myself. The house had up-scale amenities (I enjoyed the coffee mugs) and a gorgeous view of Crystal Lake from the big living room window. The beds were also very comfortable.

This house was perfect for our family and had more than enough room! I love how its in the woods and has privacy. The large deck was amazing and perfect for hanging out at night after dinner with card games. There is a little view of Crystal Lake, which was a bonus and we were even able to watch some fireworks from the deck. We were only a short drive away from stores, the Frankfort beach on Lake Michigan, our family cottages on Crystal Lake, the parade in downtown Beulah and Crystal Mountain. It couldn't have been a better location for us. The house was well stocked with supplies which was appreciated. We enjoyed our stay so much we might just have to come back next year!

This property is a perfect place to relax and explore the Frankfort area. So many things to do within a short distance and the suggestions from the owners are quiet helpful in planning excursions. Just sitting on the deck and taking in the woods, the wildflower garden, and the view of Crystal Lake was good for the soul.

My family had a great experience with the property. Nice and clean. We were familiar with the area and felt it was a good and short distance to access downtown Frankfort and Beulah. Kids were able to access and enjoy the bike trail easily. Good for everyone to unplug and enjoy each other’s company.

Perfect Location!
My family of 5 stayed here and it was a nearly ideal location for everything we enjoy. Equidistant to Beulah and Frankfort with plenty of recreation within minutes. The home is nestled back in the woods off of 115 which during the day you can hear traffic from if sitting outside but inside is perfectly peaceful. Nice crystal lake view from the huge windows was great and allowed for spectacular night sky beauty.
The hosts were great in getting back to us when we had questions. The only negatives were that there was no back up paper towels for the kitchen or dish soap. No biggie we just bought some of our own.
One note to anyone who may want to work remote or use their own internet/data. As described this house is off the grid which is a great way to retreat and escape the grid. However cell reception or portable wireless is still very slow if you’re attempting to use technology.
In all this is a beautiful property in a beautiful and nearly perfect location with friendly hosts!

Excellent property and location
We had a friend reunion in Frankfort, so had 2 couples staying here. The views were fantastic, and the house was perfectly laid out for being together or separate. We had an easy time with check-in and check-out and no issues while there. Will definitely be returning as we make the friend reunion an annual event!

Amazing Vacation & Home!
If you think the pictures are beautiful, wait until you see the real view of Crystal Lake from the gorgeous floor to vaulted ceiling windows. We brought our 3 teen kids and 2 of their friends, and they loved the loft. The firepit is lovely, and everything was very clean and comfortable. Just a few minute drive to both Franfort & Beulah. Also just a quick walk to the Betsie Trail along the lake. Would absolutely stay here again.

Perfect
Loved the property - clean and well equipped. We had everything we needed for our family of 5 and grandparents. The location is amazing- walk to the beach or the bike trail. A little too buggy to hang outside too much at the cabin. Short drive to bigger beach on Crystal Lake or Lake Michigan. Sleeping Bear Dunes nearby. Wouldn’t hesitate to return. Quiet and relaxing home
Well equipped for indoor and outdoor cooking. Lovely wood interior and lots of hooks in the entryway and bathrooms helped keep us organized with all our gear for swimming and biking. Gavin was very responsive and helpful. We enjoyed the fire pit and having minimal access to the digital world. The location was mid-way between Frankfort and Beulah, which was ideal for us. We are grateful you shared this lovely home with us.

Beautiful home, perfect for our Girls Trip!
This is an amazing home, tucked into a beautiful wooded lot and flocked by wild flower gardens. Everything was spotless and very well appointed. We found everything we needed to have a great long weekend. Even during the evening thunderstorm, the view was spectacular. The location is convenient to great food and shopping. The cabin was just beautifil and bright..very clean and roomy for everyone we invited.
Overall this was a beautiful experience for my family and i..directly accross from crystal lake, which we had no problem entering and finding a nice beach spot. Lake Michigan was only 10 or so minutes away and we enjoyed it so much we visited twice during our 4 day visit..the grounds and the cabin we also beautifully kept and we all loved the beautiful flowers.

Excellent Home
This beautiful home, with all the amenities, was a wonderful place to stay! We were a 15 minute drive to multiple towns and lakes, wonderful shops and places to eat! Only a 30 minute drive from here to sleeping bear dunes, a very popular tourist spot . if anyone is looking to stay for a few weeks this would be the place to do it!! This home has a beautiful deck and we were surrounded by lovely smelling flowers and a breeze even on the hottest of days. Very nice outdoor grill and firepit. Home is situated up on a hill in the woods with a view of Crystal Lake. I cannot think of a negative thing to say about Fern Hill at all! You will need to take nothing on this vacation other than your clothes, swimwear and food! Everything is provided even A/C! We will definitely be returning to Fern Hill!!

What a fabulous place. Super modern and well equipped, with a stunning view of Crystal Lake! Very private setting nestled into the woods with a great firepit and wood provided. The beds were comfortable and the furnishings were first rate. We'll definitely be back!

Fantastic Stay!
Our 3 night stay at Fern Hill was amazing!
The hosts did a fantastic job preparing everything in the house as promised. (even left a small gift for us!) It's clear they've taken great care preparing an information book about local restaurants, potential day trips etc. We had 7 guests and the 3 bedrooms were very comfortable for our group!
The setting and views couldn't have been better! You have a fantastic view of Crystal Lake from the large deck and the quiet peaceful setting is very private. As it states in the description there is no WiFi but our entire group was able to get cell signal to post pictures and check the occasional e-mail.
Lastly, if your group plans to cook and socialize at the house it is perfect. The kitchen is absolutely fully stocked with equipment and we were careful to treat it as our own.
