This was a new location for us, and the family agreed it was just fine. There were a few work arounds. Owner has a big pontoon boat at the dock, so we had to tie up our ski boat alongside. Dishwasher was on its last gasp of life. Owner sent repairman, but he said it would have to be replaced. Ditto for the stove. Some burners did not work. I have a VRBO property that I supply fully, so we were glad we brought toilet paper, paper towels, soaps and trash bags as there were no extras. The rooms slept everyone comfortably. The view was fabulous. To get that high view, one must navigate lots of steps, but I was probably the only one who huffed and puffed -- I'm 80. Nice house and quick response to our questions. Dining table is unique.

Everything about this place was perfect. Great and clean place. We had a group of friends at the place with kids and we enjoyed every bit of the 2 days we stayed there. Hot tub, boat dock and the patio are an asset. The pictures don’t do justice.

We had a group of 9 ages from 50-9. The listing of the property matches what we experienced. Beds and linens were good, kitchen was stocked pretty well with a few staples missing. Decks were nice. Grill leaves a lot to be desired with burners not working. Hot tub was clean and dock area was nice with lots of water activities available like kayaks, paddle boards etc. The landscaping was a little rough with tarps lying in grass and beach area was not clean. Overall we had a good stay and head home missing Lake Keowee already!

This house was set up perfectly for our family with 4 adult couples each in a bedroom and one bedroom with bunk beds for our six grandchildren. The house is well stocked with cooking equipment including grills and large stock pots for outdoor propane cooking. The lake front is gorgeous and the dock provided the perfect swimming area with a sturdy platform ladder for easy access to the crystal clear water. We brought our own boat and launched at the High Falls County Park a very short distance from the house. The quiet cove in front of the house made for ideal tubing conditions from the dock, especially during the mid-week days. There is room to park the boat along side the dock. We were able to park 2 cars in the driveway at the house, and 2 more and the boat trailer in the lower drive. The drive down to the parking areas is extremely steep, therefore, I would not recommend bringing any riding toys, bikes, skateboards, etc. To enter the main floor of the house, one must climb at 10 or more steps. To walk down to the water one must walk down several stone steps and stepping stones that are very nicely landscaped. Maneuvering can be difficult if you have knee problems. We really enjoyed our stay and felt it was a perfect place for us!

The house was PERFECT!!!! We had three family’s lots of kids and plenty of space! We will definitely be back!!!! Beautiful lake!!!!!

We had a great time! The view from the deck is amazing! The house was perfectly accommodating! Boat ramp access so nice! The cove is beautiful. We had a wonderful family fun weekend! Thank you to Kim for making sure we had all we needed and being so accessible to us! We can’t wait to stay again!

We stayed here last year for a 4 day weekend and loved it so much we just stayed again for 9 days. It is absolutely perfect for our group of mixed ages. We bring a boat so the on-site boat slip is so convenient. We love it here and can’t wait for our next stay. Kim is very responsive and a great property host. Thanks again!!

The house layout was perfect for privacy amongst guests, nice fully stocked kitchen, easy access to dock for swimming kayaking.

We had a great stay! The place looked just like the pictures. Very pretty and clean with lots of beds for different wings of our family to gather. The bunk room had 3 bunks, I thought there were only 2. We enjoyed all the amenities at the house. ( paddle boards, kayaks, noodles, ping pong, hot tub, tubes for being pulled by a boat!). Thank you so much for sharing your place with us! 2 suggestions : more light by the steps for going up and down to the hot tub and dock at night and another regular frying pan. We were able to cook everything we wanted to with the cast iron skillet and small frying pan. It just would have been easier and quicker to feed 12 people with an additional pan. :) Also, the boat rental recommendation was perfect!!

We had a great time with our two families. The dock and boat ramp were when better than shown in the pictures. The location was a very private cove with no houses on the opposite side. We made frequent kayak and SUP trips to the natural beaches across the water.

When we were able to be there in person and see the layout we were so grateful for the location, a quiet cove but still close to many of the spots on the lake. Lots of privacy at the house and at the water's edge. We loved the extras that were provided such as hot tub, life jackets, paddleboard, kayaks (one double sea kayak and a single regular one). We loved the swimming area off the dock. The sand area didn't seem very useable and entry to the water from there seemed a bit iffy, but since our kids are older it was a non-issue. Just something to make note of if you're looking for safer water entry for little kids. There was plenty of room to dock the pontoon boat that we rented as well. All the beds and furniture were comfortable and clean. The only negatives I see of the property is the laundry area is hard to get to while carrying a load of laundry! You have to go down through the garage to get to it. I also would have appreciated a little bit more info on where to find things in the kitchen, cleaning supplies and tips on using the hot tub, tvs, etc., as that is always helpful when in a rental house. I also would have appreciated a guide to the surrounding area, restaurant ideas, hiking trails, etc. Also there didn't appear to be a ping pong table anywhere like the listing said, but maybe it just wasn't set up? Had an absolutely fantastic long weekend here. The layout was perfect for our group. Good seating options in the living room and dining room. The kids loved playing ping pong the fire pit and hot tub were a nice surprise. All in all a great time and we will definitely plan on staying here next year as well.

This home is laid out great for multiple families and is perfect for adults and older children/teens (I would not recommend if you have little kids.) The walk to the water is steep and we could only play off the dock. We were unable to use the sand area by the water. The adults and older kids did enjoy use of the kayak and paddleboards and playing in the cove! We had some issues while we were there, but Kim was very responsive and kind and took care of our issues quickly.

We were very happy with every aspect of our stay on beautiful Lake Keowee. The house was very tastefully decorated. Bedding was very comfortable. Bedrooms were in different parts of the house which provided privacy. The kitchen was spacious and view was magnificent.

This is a beautiful house, well stocked with everything you need for a getaway. The location in a quiet cove was perfect. We brought our boat and were able to launch right on the property, no need to travel to a public launch. The owner was very helpful and accommodating. We'd definitely stay again.

Can’t beat the location of this place on the water!! The kids had a blast with the paddle boards and just swimming and fishing by the dock. We had 3 families with 13 people and plenty of room. The kitchen was very spacious to cook and have all the kids eat at the table. The only disadvantage per se was the walk to the dock. It’s a bit of a hike (only for us older parents) and some of the rocks on the path were loose. Otherwise this place and communication with the owners was awesome. Thanks for letting us make such great memories.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is in a quiet cove, great location on the lake. We had a large family group and were happy to find the house as described. The paddle boards and kayaks were an added bonus that we enjoyed as well. The dock had plenty of room for our two boats. We would definitely consider staying here again!

The owners were so accommodating for a last minute rental. The property was perfect for our large group of 5 couples. Beautiful home and property! Definitely want to return when we have time to use the lake as well.

We stayed in this home to celebrate the Labor Day weekend and our boys birthdays. The house was the perfect size for our two families (with lots of extra space) and was the perfect location on the lake. The house had everything you needed and more to relax and enjoy the weather and water. Ms. Eades was beyond exceptional with communications! Thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. We rented for our sons 18 birthday get together and when I spoke to the owner she was very inviting and nice . The house had plenty of sleeping space with extra blankets a beautiful view of the lake just a great place to spend some time and relax all the neighbors were nice Just a outstanding experience hope to do it again

We rented this home to allow our extended family and family-to-be to share time during the Clemson graduation weekend. Kim was very easy to work with as we made arrangements. Great time on the lake. Perfect location and house is in quiet cove.

My family and I stayed here for Thanksgiving. The area is BEAUTIFUL. Wonderful view from the multiple porches. Kayaks allow you to traverse the beautiful lake. On the trip to Ingles (an extremely nice grocery store nearby) you see beautiful panoramic mountain views. The house is very nice- we did a lot of cooking and hanging out all over the house. The nights are quiet and beautiful. One night we heard a loud splash somewhere off in the lake, and upon googling, read that many believe Lake Keowee to be haunted. We also took a short trip to Whitewater Falls which is a huge, incredible waterfall with a somewhat strenuous hike to the bottom. We had a really fantastic time.

We had four generations of people at this house and had absolutely no problem pleasing everyone. The house was only 20 minutes from Clemson University and was situated on the lake with a gorgeous view. The furnishings were nice and very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. I would definitely recommend this lovely home.

We have been renting homes on Lake Keowee with family friends for the past 12 years and this house is our favorite. This was our second year at this home and we will be back for a 3rd in 2015. The house is perfect, the location is ideal. Very quiet cove, perfect for skiing, tubing, wake boarding, kayaking, fishing etc. Everything you need or want is there for you and the owners are super nice. The house is clean and comfortable with very comfy beds and a nice deck with great views.

Again, an awesome experience with four families absolutely enjoying these 4 days at your wonderful home. We were here Labor Day in 2012 and will definitely be back. The home offers the perfect floor plan with a roomy well equipped kitchen and large capacity dining. The TV offered relaxing time for family as we played games off the X-Box and watched movies. The on-site boat ramp is convenient with spacious deep water dock a plus and the large cove was great for boating activities with limited wave action.
