Auf der Terrasse können Sie Truthähne, Füchse, Hirsche, Straßenläufer und eine Vielzahl von Vögeln beobachten. Dieses Haus bietet Platz für 12 Personen. Es liegt 800 m von der 4. Kreuzung an der River Road und nur wenige Minuten vom "Horseshoe" am Guadalupe River entfernt. Zum Canyon Lake, wo Sie Boot fahren, Wasserski fahren und segeln können, sind es weniger als 10 Minuten. Es gibt zusätzliche Parkplätze für ein Boot. Der Fluss Guadalupe liegt 800 m entfernt. This was the second stay at this property and it was just as awesome as the first visit. First of all, the home was perfect for our group of guys. There were more than enough beds for everyone. Even the beds in the bunkroom were super comfortable. The kitchen was clean and full of everything we needed for the meals we cooked. The best part was the outside space and the back patio. The views are fantastic.
Vicky, the property owner, is very responsive and so easy to work with.
I highly recommend this property. We will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time, the property has the best views while coming packed with plenty of things to do at the home! The host was very accommodating and communicated well and quickly with everything! We had a great time and were provided everything we could need and more, completely recommend to anyone looking for a weekend out with some amazing views!

The property was great and very well priced considering how nice and clean it was. We found they took time to make it entertaining as well (in/outdoor games, sound, tvs etc). The furniture was well thought out and comfortable. The outdoor space has amazing views and was great for hanging outside and plenty of covered space for hot days or rain. We had 8 adults, and the bunk area was pretty well laid out. We would definitely stay again.

Our family of eight, aged 18-77, enjoyed a relaxing, beautiful, comfortable stay at Hill Country Haven. The home is packed with everything you could possibly need or want (including a high chair I saw in the laundry area). The water pressure is incredible…we all loved showering while we stayed here! lol The location is perfect, far enough out that you are in nature and can relax but close enough that a short drive gets you to shopping and hill country fun! Any questions we had were quickly answered in a friendly and polite manner. We 10/10 recommend this rental!

This was such a beautiful property and was perfectly equipped with everything we needed to have a great weekend away with 2 families sharing the same home! The owners are easy to work with and checkin/out processes were perfect. Home was clean and exactly as described. Highly Recommend!

My friends and I rented this home for two nights and thought it was better than the pictures showed. We truly enjoyed the property and how close it was to float the River. Definitely recommend.

This house is absolutely beautiful from the interior to the exterior. The view from the back patio is stunning! The house is very roomy. The owners are quick to respond and gives you all the information that you may need. It’s a perfect spot to stay at, easy to get to, and not far from the Guadalupe River. Will definitely stay here again in the future!

Pictures do not do this place justice. It had everything to accommodate us. It was one of our favorite places we have stayed at. Pure relaxation and comfort. Highly recommend if you want a hill country setting close to town. We will be back.

This home is beautiful, spacious, and comfortable. It has plenty of room, tons of amenities, a location that is convenient to tubing and boating, and is just a short drive into New Braunfels for live music and great food. We played for hole in the lighted backyard in the evenings and enjoyed watching the deer and foxes outside while we drank our morning coffee in the covered deck. This home has everything.

This place was amazing! Open, beautifully decorated, plenty of room for our framily, and that view!!!! We saw deer and foxes everyday! After the day at the water park or on the river, this place was great to unwind! I will definitely come back! Vicky was the sweetest to work with also! The whole process was easy!

Stunning and well furnished home! It’s close enough to town that running to the store is no sweat but high enough on the hill to not hear anything noise. The photos don’t do the backyard and view justice. We saw deer, a fox, hummingbirds, and there’s a lovely breeze up on the hill even in the dead of summer. The owners were very communicative and helpful when I couldn’t figure out the lock (user error.) we’ll definitely be back for another summer float trip!

We really enjoyed the house it felt secluded but was close to tube rentals and only 30 minutes to Schlitterbahn. Everything was great and the outside area was awesome!

Had a wonderful time with our family of 6, though this property would be comfy up to 3 couples (BRs) and 6 kids (bunk room for 6). Kitchen and open LR gave us tons of room and functionality, and back deck and yard was the incredible in mornings (deer, purchase deer corn at Leow’s down the hill or Ace HW) and evenings (fire pit/s’mores and corn hole). Hosts were also great communicators and friendly. Any time we head back to hill country, we’d keep Hill Country Haven in mind.

Just a few minutes from town, this place has an amazing view of the hilltops, and a great outdoor area to enjoy it. House was exactly as described and very comfortable. Would stay again.

We loved our stay! We had family of all ages and everyone had a fantastic time. The outdoor space and views were spectacular! We enjoyed the sunsets, corn hole and the fire pit every day we were there. The owners were amazing to work with as well. We visited Canyon Lake and Gruene while staying there. Great location!

My husband and I love staying here with different groups of family & friends. We keep coming back! It is always clean, the patio & yard is beautiful, and it has enough room in the common space that everyone can spread out and yet be together. Highly recommend this place! Vicky made sure we got all the check in details before our arrival and otherwise it is easy and hassle free to stay here. The check out process is also easy and the clean up requests before leaving are very reasonable.

This home has it all! It was sparkling clean, the location was great and it had everything we needed for a 3-night stay. The kids loved playing cornhole and watching the many deer that came by. The view is beautiful and the property is really nice. We would definitely stay here again!!

I've hosted an annual river trip for past 12+yrs and rented various homes, usually River Villas area, but this home is officially our home going forward! Unanimous.
I was skeptical at first due to not being on river, but don't be!! It's perfect! Pictures are great, but it's even better in person! Home has everything you can think of, every...thing. Owner has thought of it all (but the crockpot ha) Tons of games.
Plenty of room. Plenty of towels (didn't use them all). Beds are so comfy. Great space inside and out to spend with friends. Coffee in the morning on back patio - highly recommend! Note: Coffee maker does take K-Cups!!
Location is ideal, less than 10mins from Whitewater Amphitheatre, grocery store, Lazy L & L and many in between each direction. We will most definitely be back, maybe sooner than later.
Only caution: steps throughout* gotta watch those suckers lol don't worry no casualties ha.
Owner is very responsive and so very nice....with a sense of humor!

Beautiful view from back porch. Outdoor cooking and visiting was easy. This trip we didn’t eat out at all. The kitchen and outdoor cooking area is set up nicely.

My family and I stayed at the Hill Country Haven for a weekend and I can't compliment the property enough! The place was very spacious, quiet, CLEAN (we are huge germaphobes, especially with COVID and we felt extremely safe here), and ultimately relaxing! Property owners were very thoughtful, attentive, and even responded quickly when I was trying to figure out how to turn on the patio string lights. We will without a doubt be coming back to stay here again and are already starting to plan future trips. The property is also at a very convenient spot--there are cute little restaurants/shops only a couple minutes away, and Gruene/New Braunfels is close by as well. We live a little less than an hour away from this property, but it really felt like we were in a different place, which is perfect for locals in surrounding cities that want a quick and relaxing escape! So glad we found this place!

What a wonderful house and property. Perfect house layout for a group, beautiful deck and outdoor area with yard games. Our group of 9 celebrating a birthday had plenty of room to eat, sleep and play.

The Beautiful Hill Country Haven
Wow! What a treat this property is! Probably my favorite vacation rental so far. Spectacular sunset views, wildlife, plenty of bathrooms (4!), impeccably clean, and so spacious! The pictures do not do this baby justice! We really enjoyed sitting on the back patio and around the new fire pit! The drive down River Road in the fall to see the leaves changing colors was beautiful too! Can’t wait to stay again! Bonus?! WONDERFUL hosts!! Easy communication and so kind!

Fabulous home away from home to celebrate my husbands 50th
This home and this weekend were everything we expected and so much more! The house is so beautiful and open and well equipped with everything you may need! The back porch, and that view with the entire outdoor area were just amazing! We will be staying at this property again for sure! Hands down one of the best rentals we have stayed in!

Our family, 6 adults, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hill Country Haven. The home and property offered stellar accommodations! House is lovely and spacious; the outdoor covered patio with fireplace was most comfortable for total relaxation. The deer were especially enjoyable to watch. Communications with owners was excellent with prompt responses to all questions. We highly recommend this property; we intend to return soon.
