We had dogs with us and this property was excellent for them. Will return if we are in this area

The place was nice, tidy and cozy. lots of games to play. The landlady was very sweet and resourceful. For check in we had to meet with them, which was unnecessary and rushed us to go there before late. The location is good for west Kelowna wine tours, but it is not a vacation house. it is an attic on top of the family business workshop. It was definitely over advertised and over priced for what it was.

We are 3 friends who haven’t gotten together for over 30 years. We decided to meet in Kelowna for a few days of fun and reminiscing. This location suited us perfectly! The large common room was perfect for us to gather and chat, play guitars, listen to music, eat together etc. Rooms are great, bedding and sheets all very comfortable and two bathrooms make things very convenient. This was perfect for our needs.

A truly wonderful vacation rental. Fully stocked with games and family fun. No stove or oven to speak of made taking Mom out for meals a good thing :).

Tanya and Rod’s place was absolutely fantastic! The kitchen is very functional and spacious as the huge main room! The bedrooms are generous in size and my partner sunk right into the bed (it was too soft for me but we all have different preferences). Location is good but in the summer the okanagan is very dusty so be aware of that if you bring black shoes. Lol The floor was definitely not mopped before our arrival, the bottoms of our feets and socks were black with dirt which is the only reason for my lower rating. Central location but we stayed in a lot and just played games! The AC in the entire unit is super great!!! Would definitely stay again :-)

Good overall - the kitchen drawers needed to be wiped down. They had their cleaners cancel the morning before we arrived and understand but not really the customers problem. We were in town for a wedding and there were three bedrooms but only one had a place to hang clothing which was an inconvenience for wedding attire. They were more than accommodating with parking. My grand daughter got married and they had no where to store a small uhaul and they let us store it on the property for a few days which was great! Please check the decks of cards - although there were plenty of decks of cards - none of them complete. We enjoyed the pool table and shuffleboard.

Rod and Tanya have an exceptional space for a group. The place was so clean and the photos don’t do it justice (the ceilings are high and the space is huge!). They have so many options of games to play and outdoor activities too. Will be back again for sure!

The hosts were amazing, incredibly accessible, helpful, accommodating and friendly. The property was perfect for our girls weekend away. Lots to do at the property and around the area. The hosts even dropped a couple of us off at dinner, when our taxi forgot them. Thank you for a great weekend!!!!!

Check in process was great. The house was the perfect set up for a bachelor party. Any questions were answered quickly by the owners.

The location is wonderful! The kitchen is fully stocked; we were able to make gourmet meals every night after our wineries, hiking and biking adventures. The poker table shown has a cover to make it a dining table, which was important to us. The deck is more than shown with a full propane BBQ. I hope you enjoy your stay as much as we did!

House is big and spacious. Had a blast playing all the games in the house. Only thing we missed was a stove-oven.

Really great lay out, great property for friends or family. Lots of parking and easily accessible. We were disappointed to learn that the owners live directly on the property upon arrival. This was not advertised, had we known we would not have booked this rental. That being said the property owners were incredibly friendly and didn’t bother us, in fact we didn’t even spot them During our stay so it was a non issue in the end. At one point I did request the Netflix password for the bedroom as its password protected for children - we wanted to watch Netflix in bed but we were not given the password. The property was clean enough but not to the standard of say, what you would expect in a hotel. Smears on the bathroom mirror, a busted glass in the cupboard, hairs on the baseboards. The towels smelled musty. Not the end of the world we just wiped it with the provided antibacterial wipes in the suite. We had a blast and really enjoyed the VRBO. The owners are great and we would stay again.

Communication was easy and this place is better than expected! It was clean and had everything that we needed. Great getaway with friends or family! Loved that we were able to bring our pups too!

Fast check in and owners are easy and friendly to deal with. They made our stay excellent any any thing that wasn’t in home that we needed they accommodated us. Thanks Tanya snd Rod to letting us stay at your home. The home has a big kitchen with all that u need and the big rec area has so much to do to keep everyone busy.

This was an awesome house to stay in for a group! The house is above the host’s garage on their home property. The games area in the great room was a blast, was just a bit loud for when the kiddos went to bed. Overall really enjoyed our stay and the hosts were so so accommodating and friendly!

We came in with a group of 7 for the weekend. The place is super fun to spend time in, the hosts were very welcoming and easy to deal with. The place came with everything we needed, very well stocked for all games, kitchen and living needs. Had a great stay, would recommend

The house was great, big enough for all of us staying there. The location is very central to Kelowna and the winery. I recommend this place for families or meeting up with friends.

We found the property exactly as described. The whole check in process was very easy and Tanya was very accommodating on our schedule. Our stay was really comfortable, the place was big, clean and had everything that we needed and we were 5 adults, a toddler and an English Bulldog. I loved to spend the evening reading in the balcony with my dog and a glass of wine. Will definitely stay again with my family when we are back in Kelowna.

This place was nice and had everything we needed and was decorated well. There was no full sized stove or oven, so if you were planning on baking that wouldn't have been possible. With it being summer the BBQ, induction stove tops and large toaster oven was more than enough for our weekend. Everything seemed new or well kept. We rented it because of extra games tables for the kids since we were using it as a halfway weekend away for my sister to meet us. The host was exceptionally kind and hospitable. It was very open concept and with the high ceilings I found it very echoey, but I am getting old ;) If I was 10-15 years younger this would have been an amazing home base for a few childless couples wanting to go to the beach and wineries during the day and play games, movies and music at night. My main critique would be the cleanliness factor. Everything was clean enough, but not thoroughly deep cleaned. There was food crumbs in the toaster oven, a chip under a pillow on the couch, some crumbs and a bottle cap under the counter top appliance and some food grease on the silicone bbq mats. The host did give us new mats but this was because she new one of us had celiac and was being extra thoughtful. We hadn't opened the BBQ yet to notice the previous food. Like I said, it was clean enough, like I would do at home, just maybe not deep cleaned. The host was exceptional and kind. She went out of her way to be hospitable. She was very knowledgable about the surrounding areas and what was going on around town too. The house was really lovely and I think I would have enjoyed it a lot more without loud children (story of my life ;) ) or if I was younger! There was also a little trail to take our dog for a walk across the road a volley ball court and horse shoes on the property, though I'm not sure if they were included in the stay. The property was large and surounded by trees with a nice patio to sit on and drink wine and visit. All in all a great place to get away for the weekend, well stocked with games and fun things to do too!

This house was awesome. We had 8 of us and there was plenty of room for everyone. The house was clean and really big. The BBQ was awesome to use, they had mats on it so it wa super clean as well as easy to clean off. The games were great they even had a wii to use. We had an amazing time at the house. The house is in a great location, super close to wine tours and not too far from downtown. The owners were super friendly and helpful.

This property exceeded our groups expectations! It had a perfect games room and slept all 7 of us on extremely comfortable beds. Tanya was such an amazing and attentive host!

This property was great. It is quite large, modern and clean. There is lots to keep a person entertained! It is a good location that isn't too far from anything. The owners are helpful and there with any questions you might have.

We stayed at the Shannon Lake Retreat for four or five days with our five adult children. It was perfect for us! Well-appointed, spotless and modern, and in easy driving distance from the attractions of Kelowna and Penticton -- the beaches, the adventures, and the wineries. The owner is thoughtful and responsive. We highly recommend staying here. We will definitely book it again if we find ourselves heading back to the area as a family again.

Clean and spacious suite, the living room is well-prepared with great activities available, bbq and cooking here are also a pleasure!
